Claims (19)
- フォトニックバンドギャップ(PBG)材料のアンテナにおいて、
中心軸(6;84;176;210)を完全に取り囲むと共に、前記中心軸から離隔することによって前記PBG材料の広い周波数ストップバンド内に少なくとも1つの狭い周波数通過帯域を生成するのに好適な共振中央空洞を残しているPBG材料の側壁(4;82;162;220)と、
前記共振中央空洞内に配置されており、前記狭い周波数通過帯域内に位置した所定の動作周波数において電磁放射線を放射し又は受信するための電磁界を励起するのに好適な少なくとも1つの放射要素(34;108〜111;132〜134;206;208)と、
を有しており、
前記1つの又はそれぞれの放射要素は、前記中心軸に平行な電磁界を励起するべく、前記共振中央空洞内に配置されており、
前記1つの又は少なくとも1つの放射要素は、前記共振中央空洞のその他のモードよりも強力に半径方向共振を示す前記共振中央空洞のモードを励起するのに好適であり、さらに、
前記放射要素(186;208)の中の少なくとも1つは、前記中心軸に平行な又はこれと一致した個別の磁気的ダイポールを形成していることを特徴とする、アンテナ。 - 前記1つの又はそれぞれの放射要素は、半径方向共振を示す前記共振中央空洞のモードのみを励起するのに好適であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のアンテナ。
- 前記放射要素(34;108〜111;132〜134)の中の少なくとも1つは、前記中心軸と平行な又はこれと一致した個別の電気的ダイポールを形成していることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載のアンテナ。
- 前記アンテナは、前記共振中央空洞内に配置された少なくとも1つのプローブを含んでおり、前記1つの又はそれぞれのプローブは、前記放射要素の1つ又は複数のものを具備していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
- 前記中心軸(6)に対して垂直の少なくとも1つの導電体プレーン(20)を含んでおり、前記1つの又はそれぞれのプローブ(24、26)は、前記導電体プレーンの前記1つのもの又はいずれかによって支持されていることを特徴とする、請求項4記載のアンテナ。
- 前記プローブの中の一方が、前記導電体プレーン(20)を中心として対称的に他方の電気的イメージとなるように互いに対して配設された、少なくとも2つのプローブ(24、26)を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項5記載のアンテナ。
- 前記中心軸にアライメントされた導電性材料の中心コア(88;164)を含んでおり、前記1つの又はそれぞれのプローブは、前記中心コアによって支持されていることを特徴とする、請求項4〜6のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
- 前記1つの又はそれぞれのプローブに電力を供給し、且つ、前記中心コアの内部を貫通している導電体(100、102;144、146)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項7記載のアンテナ。
- 前記中心コアの周囲の周りに均等に分布した複数の放射要素(108〜111;132〜134)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項7又は8記載のアンテナ。
- 前記共振中央空洞内において定位置に前記1つの又はそれぞれのプローブ(62)を保持する支持部(70)を含んでおり、前記支持部は、前記共振中央空洞を充填している材料の比誘電率に±3内において等しい比誘電率の材料から製造されていることを特徴とする、請求項4〜9のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
- 前記1つ又はそれぞれのプローブは、電気的ダイポールとワイヤ/プレートプローブを有する組から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項4〜10のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
- 前記中心軸に沿って異なる高さに配設された複数の放射要素(132〜134)を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
- 前記中心軸に沿って同一の高さに配設された複数の放射要素(108〜111;132〜134)を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
- 前記共振中央空洞は、前記中心軸が貫通している2つの開口端部を有しており、前記アンテナは、前記開口端部の1つを閉鎖する少なくとも1つの閉鎖キャップ(54、56)を含んでおり、前記閉鎖キャップは、1〜3の範囲内に位置した比誘電率の誘電材料から製造されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
- 前記PBG材料の側壁(162;202)は、金属性のPBG材料の構造を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
- 前記放射要素(206、208)は、同一の動作周波数において動作するべく適合されており、個別の電気的ダイポールを形成する前記1つの又はそれぞれの放射要素(206)は、円偏波を生成するべく、個別の磁気的ダイポールを形成する前記1つの又はそれぞれの放射要素(208)に対して直角位相において励起されることを特徴とする、請求項1又は3記載のアンテナ。
- 前記共振中央空洞は、樽の形状を有しており、前記樽の対称軸は、前記中心軸と一致していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜16のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
- 前記共振中央空洞(8;86)は、前記中心軸と一致した対称軸の円形シリンダであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
- 前記共振中央空洞(164)は、前記中心軸が貫通している2つの開口端部を有しており、前記中心コアは、相対的に狭い部分によって1つに接続された2つの朝顔形に開いた部分(166、168)を有しており、前記朝顔形に開いた部分のそれぞれは、前記開口端部のそれぞれのものを部分的に閉鎖していることを特徴とする、請求項7〜9のいずれか一項記載のアンテナ。
