Description
Claims (3)
- 作動流体が収容されるプールと、前記プールに連結され飽和気体の流れを誘導する飽和器チューブと、前記飽和器チューブの内面に取り付けられ前記プールに収容される前記作動流体を吸収する吸収部材とを含み、微粒子の浮遊している気体を前記作動流体によって飽和させて前記飽和気体を生成する飽和器と、
前記プールに収容されている前記作動流体が蒸発するように熱を加える、前記飽和器の外側に取り付けられているヒーターと、
前記飽和器の下流に連結されており、前記飽和器から供給される前記微粒子を核として液滴が生成されるように前記飽和気体を凝縮させる凝縮器と、
入り口、出口、および前記入口と前記出口の間に配されるセンシング体積を有するハウジングと、前記ハウジングの一側に取り付けられる第1レンズ群と、前記第1レンズ群を介して前記センシング体積に光を投射する光源と、前記ハウジングの他側に取り付けられる第2レンズ群と、前記第2レンズ群によって集光される光を検出する光検出器と、を含み、前記凝縮器の下流に連結されており、前記凝縮器から供給される前記液滴を光学的に検出する光学粒子計数器と、
を含んでなる凝縮核計数器において、
前記凝縮器は、前記飽和器と前記光学粒子計数器とを連結する凝縮器チューブを有し、前記凝縮器チューブを降温させる熱電冷却素子が前記凝縮器チューブの外面に取り付けられ、前記凝縮器チューブの内面には前記飽和気体が流れるように、複数の気孔を有する多孔性チューブによって形成された親水性チューブが取り付けられ、
前記作動流体は水である、
ことを特徴とする、凝縮核計数器。 - 前記親水性チューブが、酸化チタンおよび親水性ポリマーのいずれかから構成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の凝縮核計数器。
- 前記飽和器の温度は前記水の蒸発のために60〜70℃に維持されており、前記凝縮器の温度は水蒸気の凝縮のために約20℃に維持されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の凝縮核計数器。
