Description

The present invention relates to a denture stabilizing sheet that is used to stably attach a denture base to a contact surface with a denture, in particular, a denture such as a gum or palate, thereby eliminating rattling of the denture and improving a decrease in masticatory power, More specifically, the present invention relates to a denture stabilizing sheet having both high adhesive strength and large slip resistance.

The present invention also relates to a denture-stabilizing powder composition constituting the denture-stabilizing sheet.

Conventional denture stabilizers such as powder type, paste type, cream type, gum base cushion type, sheet type, etc. are known as denture stabilizers. Since it is simple, the denture can be mounted in a short time and the denture can be cleaned relatively easily.

In the denture stabilizing sheet, a denture stabilizing powder composition is generally held between a pair of cotton nonwoven fabrics, and the powder composition is held between the cotton nonwoven fabrics by a resin layer interposed between the pair of cotton nonwoven fabrics. ing.

Conventionally, this powder composition includes sodium carboxymethyl cellulose as an adhesive, polyethylene oxide (molecular weight of about 4 million), sodium alginate, polyvinyl alcohol or a mixture thereof, sodium phosphate, sodium acetate, citric acid as a pH adjuster. JP 2001-000453 A

The denture stabilizing sheet prepared using a powder composition containing a combination of sodium carboxymethylcellulose and polyethylene oxide has low adhesive strength, so it has a low force to hold the denture stably in the mouth, and it also slides in the lateral direction. Since the resistance is low, there is a problem that when the denture is fixed in the mouth, the sheet slides sideways or slides out between the denture and the oral mucosa. A denture stabilizing sheet prepared using a powder composition containing finely divided sodium alginate having a viscosity of 950 to 1100 mPa · s in a 1% by weight aqueous solution at 20 ° C. is in terms of adhesive strength and slip resistance. Although there is no problem, the finely divided product spills out from the gaps of the cotton nonwoven fabric during the production of the product, and it does not hold as a product. The denture stabilizing sheet prepared using a powder composition containing sodium alginate having a viscosity of only 320 to 380 mPa · s has high adhesion strength but low slip resistance, so that when the denture is fixed in the mouth as described above In addition, the denture stabilizing sheet slides sideways or slides out between the denture and the oral mucosa.

This invention makes it a subject to provide the sheet | seat for denture stabilization which can eliminate such a problem.

The invention according to claim 1 is a powder composition held between a pair of fabrics having a shape that matches the shape of the denture base, wherein the viscosity of a 1 wt% aqueous solution at 20 ° C. is 320 to 380 mPa · s. A powder composition for stabilizing dentures comprising sodium alginate and sodium alginate of 950 to 1100 mPa · s in a weight ratio of 1 : 4 to 1 : 1. When the weight ratio is outside the scope of this, poor balance of bond strength and slip resistance can not be obtained a high adhesive strength with denture sheet having both large slip resistance.

Throughout the claims and throughout the specification, low-viscosity sodium alginate refers to sodium alginate with a 1% by weight aqueous solution at 20 ° C. of 320 to 380 mPa · s, similar to high-viscosity sodium alginate having a viscosity of 950 Refers to sodium alginate of ˜1100 mPa · s. The viscosity is measured using, for example, a Brookfield viscometer.

The invention according to claim 2 is the powder composition for stabilizing a denture according to claim 1, comprising sodium alginate in an amount of 50 to 100% by weight, preferably 50 to 70% by weight, based on the total weight of the powder composition. If the content of sodium alginate is less than 50% by weight, a denture stabilizing sheet having both high adhesive strength and large slip resistance cannot be obtained.

The invention according to claim 3 is a denture stabilization sheet in which the denture stabilizing powder composition according to claim 1 is held between a pair of fabrics having a shape that matches the shape of the denture base. Of the pair of fabrics, it is preferable that at least the fabric in contact with the jaw ridge is made of a cotton nonwoven fabric.

The invention according to claim 4 is the denture stabilizing sheet according to claim 3, wherein a resin layer is interposed between the pair of fabrics and at least a part of the pair of fabrics is joined. The pair of fabrics are preferably joined in a dispersed manner by fusing the resin layers. The pair of fabrics may be joined by needle punching.

The denture stabilizing sheet according to the present invention has high adhesive strength, can stably hold the denture in the mouth, and has high slip resistance, so that the sheet slips when the denture is fixed in the mouth. There is no fear of slipping out between the denture and the oral mucosa.

An example of the layer structure of the denture stabilizing sheet according to the present invention is shown in FIG. The denture stabilizing sheet (16) comprises a lower cotton nonwoven fabric (11), a powder deposition layer (12) made of the denture stabilizing powder composition formed thereon, and a heat fusion layered thereon. It comprises a resin layer (13) for wearing, a powder deposition layer (14) made of a powder composition for denture stabilization formed thereon, and an upper cotton nonwoven fabric (15) superimposed thereon, The upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics (15) and (11) are joined together by the heat-melted resin layer (13), whereby the powder composition is held between the upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics (15) and (11). The heat fusion of the resin layer (13) is performed at the dispersive joints (17).

The denture stabilizing sheet (16) can be produced, for example, as follows.

A powder composition for denture stabilization is deposited on the lower cotton nonwoven fabric (11), and an organic high layer is formed on the resulting powder deposition layer (12) to form a resin layer (13) for heat fusion. The molecular fabric is superposed, and the denture stabilizing powder composition is again deposited thereon, and the upper cotton non-woven fabric (15) is superposed on the obtained powder deposited layer (14). The multilayer body thus obtained is sandwiched between rollers and heated and compressed, and the resulting final product is cut into an appropriate shape. In this way, a denture stabilizing sheet (16) having a multilayer structure is produced.

The denture stabilizing sheet (16) includes a lower jaw sheet and an upper jaw sheet, and one or both of them are used as necessary. The shape of each sheet corresponds to the shape of the denture attachment surface of the denture base of the lower denture and the upper denture, and can be appropriately affixed thereto.

In this denture stabilizing sheet, the upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics (15) and (11) are joined by thermal fusion of a resin layer (13) formed of an organic polymer fabric, and a powder composition is formed between these cotton nonwoven fabrics. Retained. The joining of the upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics (15) and (11) by heat-sealing of the resin layer (13) may be performed in the whole form or in a dispersive form (such as a dotted pattern or a lattice pattern). In addition, the upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics may be made of a composite of a polymer such as nylon or polyester and increased in strength so that it is not easily torn.

As the organic polymer fabric for forming the resin layer (13) for heat fusion, various materials that melt at a relatively low temperature can be used as long as it is safe to use in the mouth. Typical examples of the fabric include a polypropylene / polyethylene composite nonwoven fabric, a polypropylene fabric, a polyethylene fabric, a fabric made of polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate or a composite thereof.

The resin layer (13) is made by interposing a cloth such as a polypropylene / polyethylene composite nonwoven fabric together with the powder composition between the upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics (15) and (11), and heating it while pressing it to melt the fabric. It is formed. If this heat pressing is performed in a distributed manner on the fabric surface with embossing, flexibility can be maintained in the entire denture stabilizing sheet (16). Examples of the dispersion form of the joint portion (17) by heat-sealing of the resin layer include a dotted shape, a linear shape, or a composite state thereof. However, it is also possible to weld the entire surface of the resin layer. The thickness of the resin layer (13) is preferably about 0.02 mm.

In addition, it is also possible to physically join upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics by needle punching without using a resin layer for heat fusion.

The upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics (15) and (11) function as a holding body for holding the powder composition, and are joined to each other by a heat-melted resin layer (13). It is desirable that the upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics (15) and (11) have a basis weight of about 20 g / m 2 or more so that the powder composition held inside does not spill out through the eyes of the cotton nonwoven fabric. The thickness of the cotton nonwoven fabric is preferably about 0.1 mm to about 1 mm.

The powder composition for denture stabilization contains sodium alginate having a viscosity of 320 to 380 mPa · s and sodium alginate having a viscosity of 950 to 1100 mPa · s at 20 ° C. in a weight ratio of 1: 4 to 1: 1. . Further, the total sodium alginate is contained in the powder composition in an amount of 50 to 100% by weight.

Other examples of the powder composition include sodium carboxymethylcellulose and polyethylene oxide (molecular weight of about 4 million) as an adhesive, and sodium phosphate as a pH adjuster. Such a powder composition 30 is powdery in a dry state and exhibits adhesiveness in a wet state. As the pressure-sensitive adhesive, polyvinyl alcohol or a mixture thereof other than the above-mentioned carmellose sodium and polyethylene oxide can be used. In addition to sodium phosphate, sodium acetate, sodium citrate and the like can be used as the pH adjuster. These pH modifiers ensure that the drug is kept neutral, thus reducing the likelihood that the drug will damage the oral mucosa.

The weight of the powder deposit layer (14) (12) is preferably 25 g / m 2 and the thickness is preferably about 0.1 mm.

Next, a method of using the denture stabilizing sheet according to the present invention will be described.

First, the denture stabilizing sheet is soaked in warm water or water, and the wet denture stabilizing sheet is affixed onto a well-cleaned denture base. In the denture stabilizing sheet, it is desirable to stretch the wrinkles in accordance with the shape of the denture base, and to cut off this portion in advance with scissors or the like if there is an extra portion that protrudes from the denture base.

Since both surfaces of the denture stabilizing sheet are composed of a cotton nonwoven fabric, the water absorption and water retention are high, and the denture stabilizing powder composition held inside the upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabric dissolves quickly. Moreover, since water absorption is high, the adhesiveness of the cotton nonwoven fabric itself obtained by containing a water | moisture content increases rapidly. Therefore, the denture stabilizing sheet according to the present invention exhibits adhesiveness in a relatively short time after the sheet is immersed in warm water or water. Furthermore, since the cotton nonwoven fabric has a relatively high tensile elongation in a wet state, it can be easily applied appropriately in accordance with the shape of the denture base.

After the denture stabilizing sheet is appropriately affixed on the denture base in this way, the denture is fitted on the ridge (gum, palate, etc.) and is tightened until it is fixed.

The cotton nonwoven fabric has good softness in a wet state and has a low feeling of roughness, so that it is difficult to give discomfort even when it comes into contact with the jaw ridge, and provides a good wearing feeling. Moreover, since the cotton nonwoven fabric containing water expands and provides a cushioning effect between the denture and the ridge, the feeling of wearing the denture is further improved. When cotton nonwoven fabric is used in this way, unlike the case of using hydrophobic chemical fibers, etc., the cotton fiber itself absorbs moisture and swells, thereby improving the flexibility of the fiber itself. A comfortable wearing feeling is obtained.

The denture stabilizing sheet is composed of a pair of upper and lower cotton non-woven fabrics. However, the non-cotton non-woven fabric is used only on one side contacting the ridge and the other side contacting the denture base is made of a material other than cotton. A non-woven fabric or a woven fabric may be used. As the fabric other than cotton, fabrics made of various synthetic fibers or natural fibers can be used, and any fabric can be used as long as safety is guaranteed when used in the mouth. .

Unlike the structure of the denture stabilizing sheet of the above embodiment, it is possible to adopt a structure in which the lower cotton nonwoven fabric is not provided. In this case, if a denture stabilizing sheet is used so that the resin layer dispersed or entirely welded to the upper cotton nonwoven fabric is brought into contact with the denture base side, and the upper cotton nonwoven fabric is brought into contact with the jaw ridge side, A good wearing feeling can be obtained.

Next, in order to specifically explain the present invention, some examples of the present invention and comparative examples for showing comparison with the examples will be given.

In the denture stabilizing sheet (16), the upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics (11) and (15) are joined by thermal fusion of the resin layers, and the powder composition is held between these cotton nonwoven fabrics. The upper and lower cotton non-woven fabrics are joined by heat fusion of the resin layers at the dispersive joint (17).

Production Example 2
A denture stabilizing sheet was prepared in the same manner as in Preparation Example 1 except that the upper and lower cotton nonwoven fabrics were joined by needle punching without using a resin layer for heat fusion.

Separately, a constant temperature water tank and pure water, distilled water, ion exchange water, or the like are prepared as reagents.

b) Test operation 1) Using the powder compositions prepared in Examples and Comparative Examples, the denture-stabilizing sheet prepared by the method of Preparation Example 1 is cut to 25 mm × 25 mm to prepare Sample (S). . The obtained sample (S) is immersed for 5 seconds in water in a constant temperature water bath maintained at a temperature of 37 ± 2 ° C., then taken out and shaken once to remove the water on the sample surface.

2) Immediately place the sample (S) so as to uniformly cover the entire surface of the convex part (5) of the sample holder (2), and place the sample holder (2) on the sample stage so that a load is applied to the center of the sample (S). (1) Fix on top.

3) Crimp the sample (S) by lowering the pressure-sensitive shaft (3) with a pressure-bonding speed of 5 mm / min and a load of 9.8 N, hold this state for 30 seconds, and then pull the pressure-sensitive shaft (3) at a pulling speed of 5 mm. The sample (S) is pulled in the anti-crimping direction by raising at a rate of / min. At this time, the maximum force applied to the pressure-sensitive axis (3) is measured and defined as the adhesive strength.

The above operation is performed 5 times, and the average value is obtained.

ii) The slip resistance test is performed as follows.

A denture stabilizing sheet is cut into 30 mm × 40 mm to prepare a sample. The obtained sample is immersed in water at a temperature of 37 ± 2 ° C. for 5 seconds. Only the 30 mm × 30 mm portion of the sample is placed on the lower acrylic plate, and the upper acrylic plate is further placed thereon (the 30 mm × 10 mm portion of the sample protrudes from the upper and lower acrylic plates). Place a 500 g weight on the upper acrylic plate for 1 minute. Fix the protruding part of the sample with a jig of a rheometer (manufactured by Sun Science Co., Ltd.), pull out the sample from a pair of acrylic plates at a tensile speed of 60 mm / min, measure the maximum load value at that time, and make it the slip resistance force .

In Table 1,
CMCNa 041018: Carboxymethyl cellulose sodium manufactured by Daiichi Kogyo Seiyaku Co., Ltd. (degree of etherification 1.43, viscosity of 1 wt% aqueous solution 890 mPa · s)
CMCNa 041019: Carboxymethylcellulose sodium manufactured by Daiichi Kogyo Seiyaku Co., Ltd. (Degree of etherification 0.83, viscosity of 1 wt% aqueous solution 2700 mPa · s)
CMCNa 041032: Daiichi Kogyo Seiyaku Co., Ltd. sodium carboxymethylcellulose (degree of etherification 0.71, viscosity of 1 wt% aqueous solution 8500 mPa · s)
Alginate Na I-3: Sodium alginate manufactured by Kimika Co., Ltd. (viscosity of 1% by weight aqueous solution 350 mPa · s, low viscosity)
Alginate Na I-S: Sodium alginate manufactured by Kimika (viscosity of 1% by weight aqueous solution, 1025 mPa · s, high viscosity)
Alginate Na I-5: Sodium alginate manufactured by Kimika (viscosity of 1 wt% aqueous solution 550 mPa · s, medium viscosity)
Alginic acid Na I-S-150: Sodium alginate manufactured by Kimika (finely divided product of Na alginate alginate (150 mesh pass 95.0% or more))
As is clear from Table 1, the denture stabilizing sheet prepared using the powder composition of Comparative Examples 1 and 3 containing a combination of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and polyethylene oxide has low adhesive strength, and thus the denture is stable in the mouth. The holding force is small, and the slip resistance is low. Therefore, when the denture is fixed in the mouth, the sheet slides sideways or slides out between the denture and the oral mucosa.

The denture stabilizing sheet produced using the powder composition of Comparative Example 2 containing a finely divided high-viscosity sodium alginate has no problem in terms of adhesive strength and slip resistance, but is fine during product production. The granulated material spills out from the gaps between the cotton nonwoven fabrics, which does not hold as a product.

The denture stabilizing sheet prepared using the powder compositions of Comparative Examples 4 and 5 containing low-viscosity or medium-viscosity sodium alginate has high adhesion strength but low slip resistance, so that the denture is placed in the mouth as described above. When fixed, the denture stabilizing sheet slides sideways or slips out between the denture and the oral mucosa.

The denture stabilizing sheet prepared using the powder composition of Comparative Example 6 in which the weight ratio of the low-viscosity sodium alginate is 80% by weight in the total sodium alginate is similarly high in adhesive strength but has sufficient slip resistance. I can't get it.

Denture stabilizing sheets prepared using the powder compositions of Comparative Examples 7 and 8 in which the weight ratio of sodium alginate in the total weight of the powder composition is 10% by weight or 30% by weight have sufficient adhesive strength and slip resistance. I can't get power.

On the other hand, the denture-stabilizing sheet produced using the powder compositions of Examples 1-2 and 4-5 has high adhesive strength and can stably hold the denture in the mouth, Since the slip resistance is high, there is no fear that the sheet slips sideways or slips out between the denture and the oral mucosa when the denture is fixed in the mouth.
