Description
1.全ての測定について、テスト圧あるいは流れは10から20秒間安定しているように保持されなければならず、この期間中に平均の流れおよび圧力が記録される。
2.ステップ2および3の間の測定圧力は、非常に低い(0.2〜2cmH2O)。これは、異常に低い(CPAPについて)圧力でのファンの正確かつ安定した制御を必然的に伴う。この制御の理想的なモードは、一定の流れを届けることである。
3.ステップ5において、良好なリークに耐え得る密閉状態はブロック部材を用いて提供される。このステップの間、マスクはいかなるリークをもあらわにするように最高テスト圧で加圧される。これは、表示される流れを観察し、これが安定し、かつ最小であるようにブロック部材を調節することによってチェックすることができる。
4.特徴付けを確認するためにステップ8において行われ得る数多くの整合性のチェックがある。これらのいくつかは、
・テスト圧および流れの境界のチェック
・ホースの降下およびディフューザのリークのモデルに関するAおよびBの係数についての期待値のチェック
・AおよびBの係数のどちらも負でないことのチェック(圧力流れ曲線は、増加する勾配を有していなければならない)

Claims (26)
- 患者の治療に有用なCPAP装置であって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングと連通している呼吸用マスクシステムであって、空気配送ホースと、ディフューザを有している患者用インタフェースとを備えている呼吸用マスクシステムと、
前記患者に呼吸可能なガスの供給を届けるように構成されており、前記ハウジングに関連しており、テスト期間中に前記空気配送ホースを通して前記患者用インタフェースに呼吸可能なガスの制御可能な供給源を供給するように制御可能であるフロージェネレータであって、呼吸可能なガスの前記制御可能な供給源の流れの測定が前記テスト期間中に行われる、フロージェネレータと、
前記テスト期間中になされた前記流れの測定に少なくとも基づいて、前記呼吸用マスクシステムの空気流特性を決定するように構成されたプロセッサと
を備える、CPAP装置。 - 前記フロージェネレータはフローセンサを有しており、該フローセンサは、前記患者用インタフェースを通る流れが開放されている前記テスト期間中に前記患者用インタフェースを通る少なくとも1つの空気流を測定するように構成される、請求項1に記載のCPAP装置。
- 前記フロージェネレータは圧力センサを有しており、該圧力センサは、前記患者用インタフェースを通る前記流れが塞がれている前記テスト期間中に前記患者用インタフェースにおける少なくとも1つの圧力を測定する、請求項1または2に記載のCPAP装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記テスト期間の第一の部分中に決定された前記空気配送ホースの前記空気流特性、および前記テスト期間の第二の部分中になされた前記圧力測定を用いて前記ディフューザの空気流特性を決定する、請求項3に記載のCPAP装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記空気配送ホースの前記空気流特性を2つのホース定数を用いた二次式の関数として計算する、請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載のCPAP装置。
- 前記2つのホース定数(Hose A、Hose B)は前記ディフューザについての真の低い方のテスト圧(TrueDiffTP1)および真の高い方のテスト圧(TrueDiffTP2)を計算するために用いられ、
前記真の低い方のテスト圧は、TrueDiffTP1 = DiffTP1 − HoseA*x − HoseB*HoseA(x) 2 として定義され、ここでDiffTP1[cmH 2 O]は前記ディフューザについての低い方のテスト圧力であり、
前記真の高い方のテスト圧は、TrueDiffTP2 = DiffTP2 − HoseA*X − HoseB*HoseA(X) 2 として定義され、ここでDiffTP2[cmH 2 O]は前記ディフューザについての高い方のテスト圧力である、請求項6に記載のCPAP装置。 - 前記マスクシステムの前記空気流特性の決定は、2つのディフューザ定数(Diff A、Diff B)を有する二次式の関数として計算される、請求項1から7のいずれか1つに記載のCPAP装置。
- 前記CPAP装置は前記患者用インタフェースを塞ぐように構成されたフローブロック部材をさらに備えており、前記フローブロック部材(50)は、前記患者用インタフェースの形状に相補的な形状を有する、請求項1から9のいずれか1つに記載のCPAP装置。
- 前記フローブロック部材の前記形状は、人間の鼻および人間の顔の少なくとも一方を表す、請求項10に記載のCPAP装置。
- 前記フローブロック部材は前記患者用インタフェースに貼り付けられる、請求項10または11に記載のCPAP装置。
- 前記患者用インタフェースは空気を通すように構成されており、前記ディフューザは、前記患者の呼吸サイクルの息を吐くフェーズ中に吐き出された息を前記ディフューザを通して拡散する、請求項1から12のいずれか1つに記載のCPAP装置。

前記フロージェネレータには、前記呼吸用マスクシステムを通る流れが開放されているときに前記空気配送ホースにおける圧力降下を表す2つの異なる空気流が与えられ、
前記呼吸用マスクシステムには、前記ディフューザの流れおよび前記呼吸用マスクシステムからのその他のリークを表す2つの異なる圧力が与えられ、
前記呼吸用マスクシステムに前記2つの異なる圧力が与えられている間、前記呼吸用マスクシステムを通る流れが塞がれる、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載のCPAP装置。 - 制御可能な空気送風機と、

前記プロセッサは、前記空気配送ホースの空気流特性を決定し、前記患者用インタフェースを通る流れが塞がれているときの前記患者用インタフェースにおける圧力を測定し、前記患者用インタフェースが塞がれているときの前記圧力と、所定のまたは決定された前記空気配送ホースの前記空気流特性とに基づいて、前記ディフューザの空気流特性を決定する、請求項1に記載のCPAP装置。 - 前記空気配送ホースの前記空気流特性は予め定められている、請求項16に記載のCPAP装置。
- 前記空気配送ホースの前記空気流特性は、前記患者用インタフェースを通る流れが開放されているときに測定される、請求項16または17に記載のCPAP装置。
- 空気配送ホースと、ディフューザを有する患者用インタフェースとを備えている呼吸用マスクシステムとともに用いられるCPAP装置であって、
ハウジングと、
前記患者に呼吸可能なガスの供給を届けるように構成されており、前記ハウジングに関連しており、テスト期間中に前記空気配送ホースを通して前記患者用インタフェースに呼吸可能なガスの制御可能な供給源を供給するように制御可能であるフロージェネレータであって、呼吸可能なガスの前記制御可能な供給源の複数の流れの測定が前記テスト期間中になされる、フロージェネレータと、
前記テスト期間中になされた前記複数の流れの測定に少なくとも基づいて、前記呼吸用マスクシステムの複数の空気流特性を決定するように構成されたプロセッサと
を備える、CPAP装置。 - 請求項19のCPAP装置とともに用いられる呼吸用マスクシステム。
- ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングと連通している呼吸用マスクシステムであって、空気配送ホースと、ディフューザを有している患者用インタフェースとを備えている呼吸用マスクシステムと、
前記患者に呼吸可能なガスの供給を届けるように構成されており、前記ハウジングに関連しており、テスト期間中に前記空気配送ホースを通して前記患者用インタフェースに呼吸可能なガスの制御可能な供給源を供給するように制御可能であるフロージェネレータと
を有するCPAP装置を制御する方法であって、
前記呼吸可能なガスの前記制御可能な供給源の複数の流れの測定を前記テスト期間中に行い、
