Description
【0001】
【0007】

【0008】

[0001]
(Technical field to which the invention belongs)
The present invention relates to the use of a fluorinated alkyl sulfonate as an antistatic agent (particularly as an antistatic agent for plastics), a fluorinated alkyl sulfonate-containing plastic and a molded product produced from the plastic.
[0002]
(Conventional technology)
Conventionally, dust deposits are known to cause problems for plastic moldings because they form a powder image (Saechtling Kunststoff-Taschenbuch, 26th edition, Hanser Verlag, 1995, Munich, pp. 140 and later). In particular, dust deposits on transparent shaped bodies are troublesome and impair the function of the shaped body. Such a transparent molded body is used as a recording medium for optical data, and is used in optical applications such as electrical engineering, automotive engineering, construction, and liquid container. Dust deposits are undesirable in all these areas and impair the function of the compact.
[0003]
As a method for removing dust deposits on plastic products, a method using an antistatic agent is known. The following references, dust sedimentary Sekibo antistatic agents are described for stop [Gaechter, Mueller, Plastic Additives, Hanser Verlag, Munich, 1996, PP. 749 later]. This antistatic agent can improve the electrical conductivity of the plastic molding composition and can discharge the surface charge generated during the production and use of the molded body. There is less attack on the surface of the dust particles, resulting in less dust deposits.
[0004]
Generally, it is classified into an internal antistatic agent and an external antistatic agent. The external antistatic agent is applied to the molded article after molding, while the internal antistatic agent is added as an additive to the plastic molding composition. From an economic point of view, it is generally desirable to use an internal antistatic agent. This is because an additional processing step for applying the antistatic agent is unnecessary after the molding is formed. As a prior art, several types of internal antistatic agents are disclosed in patent literature, and this literature discloses that a completely transparent molded body is formed from polycarbonate or the like. JP-A-6-228420 discloses aliphatic sulfonic acid ammonium salts as antistatic agents for polycarbonate resins. However, this compound leads to a decrease in the molecular weight of the resin. JP-A-6-228420 discloses that tetrabutylphosphonium nonylphenyl sulfonate having a concentration of 4% is added to a polycarbonate resin.
[0005]
As described above, the antistatic agent of the prior art needs to be used at a relatively high concentration in order to obtain an antistatic agent action as one drawback. However, such a high concentration of addition has an undesirable effect on the material properties of the plastic.
[0006]
(Technical problem to be solved by the invention)
Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an antistatic agent that does not adversely affect the properties of the plastic material.
[0007]
(Disclosure of the Invention)
Surprisingly, perfluoroalkyl sulfonate, be particularly suitable as an antistatic agent for the production of an injection molded article or extrusion molded article was found. According to the present invention, even with a very small amount of perfluoroalkyl sulfonate, the problem of dust suction does not occur in the molded product.
[0008]
Accordingly, the present invention relates to the use of perfluoroalkyl sulfonates as antistatic agents (especially antistatic agents for plastics, particularly preferably antistatic agents for transparent plastics) and at least one perfluoroalkylsulfonic acid. A plastic containing a salt, a plastic molding composition and a plastic molding are provided.
[0009]

[0012]

[0013]
The perfluoroalkyl sulfonate is a known substance and can be produced by a conventional method. Sulfonic acid salts can be prepared by combining equimolar amounts of free sulfonic acid and the corresponding hydroxy form of the cation in water at room temperature and evaporating the solution.
[0014]

(Example)
Next, although an Example is given and this invention is demonstrated in more detail, this invention is not limited to this. In the examples, all percentages are by weight.
Dust Test In order to examine dust deposits by laboratory tests, injection molded sheets were exposed to an atmosphere containing airborne dust. For this test, approximately 1 cm depth of dust (coal dust / activated carbon 20 g, Riedel de Haen, Seelze, Germany) in a 2 L beaker with an electromagnetic stir bar 80 mm long and with a triangular cross section. , item no. 18003). This dust was suspended in the atmosphere by an electromagnetic stirrer. The stirrer was stopped and the specimen was exposed to this dust atmosphere for 7 seconds. Depending on the test piece used, the amount of dust deposited on the test piece varied from a larger amount to a smaller amount.
[0035]
Evaluation of dust deposits (dust pattern) was performed visually. A sheet showing a dust pattern was evaluated as (−), while a sheet having no dust was visually evaluated as (+).
[0036]
Example 1
Unstable treated polycarbonate (Makrolon® 2808, Bayer AG, Leverkusen, average molecular weight: Mw = approximately 30,000 (GPC), solution viscosity: η = 1.293 (340 ° C.)) without additives The test specimens were compounded and pelletized with an amount of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid tetraethylammonium salt (Bayowet 248®, Bayer AG, Leverkusen) and other additives (see Table 1) by an extruder. It was created.
[0037]
The resulting pellets were then injection molded at various temperatures to obtain rectangular sheets (155 mm × 75 mm × 2 mm) that were subjected to a dust test. The results are shown in Table 2.

[0041]
Example 2
Polycarbonate Makrolon 3100 (registered trademark) (Bayer AG, Leverkusen) and an antistatic agent (content: Table 3) were extruded at a melting temperature of 280 ° C. to produce a polycarbonate film (film thickness 0.25 mm). The chargeability was determined by measuring the surface resistance ( Ω) according to DIN IEC 93 .
[0042]
[Table 3]
: Plastic film composition
[0043]
Surface resistance by the addition of 0.3 wt.% Of the Bayowet (R) 248, almost becomes 2 digits smaller by the addition of 1.5 wt% Bayowet (R) 248, almost four orders of magnitude smaller. This result is significantly better than the prior art figures for antistatic agent concentration in polycarbonate.
[0044]
Example 3
