Description

【0001】

Yes.
[0028]
Next, the operation of the above embodiment will be described.
[0029]
When depositing banknotes P, the banknotes P to be deposited are inserted into the depositing section 8 of the banknote processing section 3, and when a predetermined deposit command is given, the retraction means 10 is driven to move the banknotes P one by one, While the banknote is conveyed on the conveyance path 11, the identification unit 12 identifies the denomination, true / false / injury, etc. Returned to the cash gate 9 (reject port).
[0030]
As shown in FIG. 1, the depositing operation in the case where only the collective cassette 4 is provided as a storage unit is such that banknotes P inserted into the deposit port 8 of the banknote processing unit 3 are fed one by one by the feeding unit 10. The amount of the banknote P temporarily held in the temporary storage unit 13 is displayed on the display unit of a teller machine (not shown) as usual.
[0031]
When the displayed amount is approved, the banknotes in the temporary storage unit 13 are paid out one by one by the feeding means 15 based on the approval command, and the fed banknotes P are conveyed to the transport path 11 and the identification unit. 12, the sheet is fed into the lower storage portion 39 of the collective cassette 4 through the conveyance path 22 and the deposit conveyance path 42. When passing through the identification unit 12, the denomination and transport order of the banknote are stored in the memory, and therefore the denomination and order of the banknote P that has entered the storage unit 39 are stored.
[0032]
The withdrawal operation for withdrawing the banknotes P stored in the collective cassette 4 is performed by searching the stored contents of the memory to check the presence and number of denomination banknotes required for withdrawal, and for the corresponding denomination banknotes. When there is no banknote, it is not possible to withdraw, but when there is a corresponding banknote, the banknote is fed out one by one by the feeding means 40, and the fed out banknote is transported in the transport path 35, the withdrawal transport path 33, the transport path 21, 11 is sent to the identification unit 12. What is not the subject of the withdrawal banknote in the identification unit 12 is sent to the temporary storage unit 13 of the banknote processing unit 3 via the transport path 11.
[0033]
If the identification unit 12 detects an abnormality, the denomination banknote to be withdrawn is transported from the storage unit 39 of the collective cassette 4 to the withdrawal port 9.
[0034]
FIG. 2 shows a configuration in which the storage unit is configured by connecting one storage cassette 5 to the collective cassette 4, and in this case, denomination banknotes to be circulated can be stored in three places.
[0035]
In the case of this embodiment, the storage units 38 and 39 of the storage cassette 5 each have a denomination of banknotes to be stored, and are set to store only banknotes of the same denomination in one storage unit. The The storage unit 38 of the collective cassette 4 is used when the storage units 44 and 45 of the storage cassette 5 are full, or is used for storing banknotes other than the designated denomination. In this case, a denomination is determined in the storage unit 39 so that it can be used in circulation, and banknotes other than non-damaged tickets such as extreme dirt and tape are stored. It is stored in the storage unit 38. Accordingly, the storage portion 38 is not provided with a feeding means.
[0036]
In addition to the above forms, when it is desired to increase the number of banknotes stored and withdrawn, the number of storage cassettes 5 can be increased in two columns, three (shown in FIG. 3), four, five,. If two storage cassettes 5 are provided, the number of storage units is five. If three storage cassettes 5 are used, the number of storage units can be increased sequentially, such as seven locations and four units.
[0037]
The banknotes are stored in the storage units 44 and 45 of the storage cassette 5 after being branched from the deposit conveyance path 48, passing through the conveyance path 46, and being sent through the branch conveyance paths 51 and 52.
[0038]
When the banknotes are fed out from the storage sections 44 and 45 of the storage cassette 5, as shown in FIGS. 8A to 8C taking out the upper storage section 44 as an example, a storage section in which banknotes to be fed out are stored. First, the receiving plate 55 descends from the state of FIG. 8A (FIG. 4B), and then the electromagnet 61 is demagnetized so that the pressing body 59 falls by its own weight and is stored in an accumulated state. The receiving plate 55 is lowered to the lowest position (FIG. 8C), and the lowest banknote P is pressed against the feeding means 57 to be fed out.
[0039]
The fed banknotes are sent to the banknote processing unit 3 through the transport paths 46 and 47 and the transport path 33 of the collective cassette 4, checked through the identification unit 12, and then withdrawn. In this case, the withdrawal port 9 or the temporary storage unit 13 can be used as the withdrawal port. In this case, the banknote in which the feeding abnormality such as skew feeding or double stacking is caused is sent to the storage unit 39 of the collective cassette 4.
[0040]
FIG. 9 and FIG. 10 show an example in which the circulation type banknote depositing and dispensing device according to the present invention has a safe structure, and includes a safe 70 and a banknote processing unit 3.
[0041]

The open / close door 71 of the safe 70 is concealed by the back surface 6 a of the outer casing 6. Therefore, the open / close door 71 constitutes a partition wall that separates the safe 70 from the banknote processing unit 3.
[0042]
In the safe 70, as shown in a cross section in FIG. 10, the collective cassette 4 is located at a position closest to the opening / closing door 71, and 1 to several (three in the figure) denomination storage cassettes 5 and 5 are located on the back side. , 5 are arranged in a tandem to constitute a storage section.
[0043]
At the upper and lower positions of the rear surface 6a of the outer casing 6, the passage portions 73 and 74 facing the conveyance paths 21 and 22 branched from the upper and lower parts of the conveyance path 11 have a horizontally long rectangular tube shape that allows the dimension of the bills in the conveyance width direction. The open / close door 71 of the metal 70 has flat rectangular hole-like passage window holes 75 and 76 into which the passage portions 73 and 74 can be fitted as closely as possible. When the casing 6 is closed, the conveyance paths 21 and 22 facing the passage portions 73 and 74 are aligned with the conveyance paths 33 and 34 in the upper and lower portions of the collective cassette 4 in the safe 70 and communicate with each other in series. Yes.
[0044]
The collective cassette 4 and the storage cassettes 5, 5, and 5 can be taken in and out by opening the opening / closing 71 of the safe 70, and stored in a predetermined position in the safe 70 to operate the transport drive system and each part. It is connected to the drive of the system, and the driving force is transmitted to each part by belt hanging.
[0045]
Even if it is a case where it is a safe structure as mentioned above, the flow of a banknote can perform a deposit or withdrawal process similarly to embodiment shown in the said FIGS. 1-3. Therefore, the same reference numerals are assigned to portions common to FIGS.
[0046]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the storage cassette that can be successively arranged in a column is provided with a transport system including means for feeding and feeding banknotes to and from the storage section therein, and a banknote processing section. Since the storage unit is separated and independent, there is no need to add a new drive system even when additional storage cassettes are added. It is possible to supply immediately according to the capacity based on the demands of the customer, and it is not necessary to prepare various banknote depositing and dispensing devices with different capacities, which is extremely expensive in terms of cost and installation space. It will be advantageous.
[0047]
In addition, since the transport path is in the storage cassette, it is easy to pull out the storage cassette and inspect it when a jam occurs, thereby improving maintenance.
[0048]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the pressing body provided in the storage portion is attracted and held by an electromagnet, and when the banknote is drawn out, the electromagnet is demagnetized so as to fall by its own weight and pressurize the upper surface of the stacked banknote, As the electromagnet is energized to raise and hold the pressing plate, the lifting mechanism dedicated to the pressing body is no longer required, and the configuration around the storage part can be greatly simplified and configured independently. This can greatly contribute to the storage cassette being used. Also, when the storage cassette is pulled out and carried to the checkout office etc., the electromagnet is demagnetized and the pressing body is left in its own weight drop state. Can be prevented.
[0049]
Further, according to the fifth aspect, the cassette can be lightened when being carried, and can be easily carried.
