Description

The present invention relates to a banknote depositing / dispensing machine that can use a deposited banknote for dispensing, and more particularly to downsizing thereof.

As for a banknote depositing and dispensing machine that can use deposited banknotes for withdrawal, the banknote is in a standing position with the short side up and down at the time of depositing, and the long side direction matches the depth direction of the device. The banknotes are identified while being drawn out and conveyed in the long side direction while being in a standing state, and stored in each return box or collection box with the long side direction aligned with the depth direction of the device, In addition, there is one in which the long side direction is made to coincide with the depth direction of the apparatus from each reflux box, and the withdrawal part is withdrawn, or rejected or rejected (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

This banknote depositing / dispensing machine has a depositing unit, a dispensing unit, a reject store and a collection store arranged side by side in the width direction on the front side of the machine body, and a plurality of reflux boxes arranged side by side in the width direction on the rear side of the machine body. A cylindrical drum-shaped transport unit is provided in the middle part in the longitudinal direction of the machine body so that bills can be taken in and out between the parts. As a result, the height and width can be reduced, and the size can be reduced, and for example, the bill can be used as a bill depositing and dispensing machine around the POS cash register.
JP 2003-288630 A

However, the banknote depositing and dispensing machine described above uses a drum-type transport unit, the diameter of which is the size associated with the maximum length of banknotes, and the arrangement of a plurality of sorting members and the branch-shaped transport around it. Since space is required to arrange the road, it is particularly compact in the machine body depth direction, which is the direction connecting the depositing / withdrawing unit, reject / recovery unit, drum-type transport unit, and multiple reflux units. There was a problem that conversion was not enough.
Furthermore, there is a problem that it takes a processing time from when the denomination of the banknote is determined by the identification sensor until the banknote is stored in the storage unit, and thus quick processing cannot be performed.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a banknote depositing / dispensing machine that can be downsized as a whole and that can shorten the processing time.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the invention according to claim 1 is a depositing unit (for example, implementation) in which a bill (for example, bill S in the embodiment) is inserted from the outside of the machine and the inserted bills are fed one by one. Depositing unit 15), a transporting unit (for example, transporting unit 37 in the embodiment) for transporting banknotes fed out from the depositing unit, and a deposit identifying unit for identifying banknotes being transported by the transporting unit ( For example, the deposit identifying unit 47) in the embodiment, and a plurality of accommodating units (for example, the reflux cabinets 20 to 22 in the embodiment) that sort and accommodate banknotes for each denomination based on the identification result of the deposit identifying unit. A bill depositing / dispensing machine including a control unit (for example, the control unit 81 in the embodiment) that controls the transport unit based on the identification result of the deposit identifying unit, wherein the control unit The denomination of the banknote is provisionally determined before taking in the identification data of the banknote by another part, and the banknote is directed to the receiving section of the corresponding denomination by the transport means based on the result of the provisional determination. When the acquisition of the identification data is completed, the denomination of the banknote is finally determined based on the identification data, and the tentatively determined denomination is compared with the determined denomination. Then, when the determined money type coincides with the provisionally determined money type, the banknote is stored in the corresponding money type storage unit as it is.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the invention, when the control unit does not match the temporarily determined denomination and the temporarily determined denomination, Reversing and conveying the banknote toward a mismatched banknote collection part (for example, the collection box 17 in the embodiment) provided upstream from the storage part, and storing the banknote in the mismatched banknote collection part. It is characterized by.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, when the banknote inserted from the depositing unit is identified by the depositing identification unit, the denomination is provisionally determined before the data acquisition of the banknote is completed. By transporting the banknote based on this, when the final decision that the denomination is determined when the identification data capture is completed and the provisional decision are compared, it is immediately determined that the denomination is the same. Since a banknote can be accommodated in a corresponding accommodating part, there exists an effect which can improve the speed which sorts a banknote for every money type.
Furthermore, when the denomination is provisionally determined, the banknote is transported toward the storage unit, and for example, the banknote can be transported to the vicinity of the entrance of the storage unit. The overall length of the conveying means provided between them can be shortened, and therefore the apparatus can be reduced in size.

According to the second aspect of the invention, in addition to the effect of the first aspect, when the denominations of the final decision and the temporary decision do not coincide with each other, by reversing the conveying means, for example, a part of the banknote is inside the storage Even if the banknotes are transported until they enter the state, there is an effect that the banknotes can be smoothly transported to and stored in the mismatched banknote collection box without causing a jam.

A banknote depositing and dispensing machine according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
The banknote depositing / dispensing machine 11 of this embodiment is placed together with a coin depositing / dispensing machine (not shown) around a POS cash register, for example, to deposit sales and change cash, as shown in FIG. The housing 12 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape. The housing 12 is installed with the shortest side 12a in the height direction, the next shortest intermediate side 12b in the width direction (left-right direction), and the longest side 12c in the depth direction. used. As a result, the casing 12 is in a horizontally long shape in which the front surface (one side surface) 12A facing the operator on the most operator side is surrounded by the shortest side portion 12a and the intermediate length side portion 12b. The upper surface 12B is surrounded by the side portion 12b having the intermediate length and the longest side portion 12c. Note that the height direction, the width direction, and the depth direction used in the following description indicate the height direction, the width direction, and the depth direction in the housing 12 unless otherwise specified.

As shown in FIG. 2, in the housing 12, a depositing portion 15 that can be opened upward from where the banknotes S are inserted in order from the front surface 12 </ b> A along the depth direction can be taken out from the machine. The banknote S is drawn out from the inside of the machine so that the banknote S can be opened upward, the banknote S from the depositing section 15 and the banknotes S from a plurality of return boxes (accommodating sections) 20 to 22 described later can be stored. Detachable collection box (mismatched banknote collection unit) 17, non-removable withdrawal / rejection bank 18 for storing withdrawal-rejected banknotes, and multiple specifics for storing banknotes S and for dispensing banknotes S to the withdrawal unit 16 Specifically, three non-removable reflux cabinets 20, reflux cabinets 21, and reflux cabinets 22 are provided.

Here, the depositing unit 15, the dispensing unit 16 and the collection store 17 on the front surface 12A side are grouped into a first configuration group 25, and the withdrawal reject store 18, the reflux store 20, and the return store on the opposite side of the front surface 12A. 21 and the recirculation | reflux store | warehouse | chamber 22 are made into the 2nd group 26 of a structure. Thus, in the first configuration group 25, the depositing unit 15, the withdrawal unit 16, and the collection box 17 are arranged in this order, and the collection unit 17 is provided most on the second configuration group 26 side. In the second configuration group 26, the withdrawal reject box 18 is provided on the most first configuration group 25 side.

Note that the depositing unit 15, the dispensing unit 16, and the collection box 17 of the first configuration group 25 constitute a single unit 28 that is detachable from the housing 12. Here, as shown in FIG. 1, the lock 29 is operated with a separate key from the portion constituting the front surface 12 </ b> A to the portion covering the deposit portion 15 and the withdrawal portion 16 on the upper surface 12 </ b> B side of the housing 12. Thus, the lid portion 30 can be opened and closed. The lid portion 30 is opened, and the unit 28 is attached to and detached from the housing 12. Furthermore, the collection | recovery store | warehouse | chamber 17 can also be attached or detached from the unit 28, and the cover part 30 is open | released and attached or detached with respect to the unit 28. FIG. In addition, the cover part 30 is protruded so that the banknote S can be taken out from the depositing part 32 and the withdrawal part 16 for inserting the banknote S into the depositing part 15 in order from the front surface 12A side in the part constituting the upper surface 12B. For this purpose, there are provided a withdrawal port 33 and an operation display section 34 for performing operation input and displaying for the operator. A register stand 31 shown in FIG. 3 is provided so as to cover the rear part of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 11 so that a part on the front surface 12A side protrudes so that the lid 30 can be opened and closed. Furthermore, all the mechanisms in the housing 12 can be pulled out toward the front with the lid 30 opened for maintenance or the like. In addition to the lock 29 described above, a power switch 35 is provided at a portion constituting the front surface 12A of the lid portion 30.

The above depositing part 15, withdrawal part 16, collection box 17, withdrawal reject box 18, reflux box 20, reflux box 21 and reflux box 22 all have a horizontally long shape similar to the front surface 12A. That is, the depositing unit 15, the dispensing unit 16, the collection store 17, the withdrawal reject store 18, and the reflux stores 20 to 22 are arranged so that the thickness direction of the received banknote S is the same direction (depth). In parallel with the direction).

The depositing unit 15, the dispensing unit 16, the collection unit 17, the withdrawal reject unit 18, and the reflux units 20 to 22 are provided close to one side in the width direction in the casing 12, and thereby the casing. The transfer part which exchanges these banknotes S by connecting these depositing parts 15, the withdrawal part 16, the collection | recovery store | warehouse | chamber 17, the collection | recovery rejection store | warehouse | chamber 18, and the return storage boxes 20-22 to the space formed in the width direction reverse side of 12 (Conveying means) 37 is provided. That is, in the width direction which is a direction orthogonal to the depth direction which is the juxtaposition direction of the depositing unit 15, the dispensing unit 16, the collection store 17, the withdrawal / rejection store 18, the return store 20, the return store 21 and the return store 22. A transport unit 37 is disposed only on one side. The transport unit 37 is controlled by the control unit 81 shown in FIG. 3 to rotate forward and backward, and the banknote S is always in a standing state in which the long side direction is along the transport direction and the short side direction is up and down. Carry in. And the drive system 80 shown in FIG. 3 which drives these is arrange | positioned under the deposit part 15, the withdrawal part 16, the collection | recovery warehouse 17, the withdrawal | rejection rejection warehouse 18, the recirculation | reflux storage 20-22, and the conveyance part 37, A control unit 81 and a power source 82 are arranged below the control unit 81.

As shown in FIG. 2, the transport unit 37 includes a main transport path 38 that connects the deposit part 15 on the front surface 12 </ b> A side and the reflux chamber 22 on the opposite side to the front surface 12 </ b> A, and a withdrawal part 16 of the main transport path 38. In the open state, it is guided to the branch conveyance path 42 connected to the reflux warehouse 20 and conveyed to the reflux warehouse 20, while in the closed state, the distribution section 42G is conveyed through the main conveyance path 38 as it is, and the main conveyance path 38 is passed through. In the open state, the banknotes S conveyed from the first component group 25 side are guided to the branch conveyance path 43 connected to the reflux warehouse 21 and conveyed to the reflux warehouse 21, while in the closed state, the main conveyance path is left as it is. The distribution unit 43G to be conveyed at 38 It is. The distribution units 39G to 43G described above are normally closed, and are driven by the control unit 81 as necessary to be opened.

Here, the reflux container 20 includes an intermediate pool portion 20a on the front surface 12A side for temporarily storing banknotes received from the branch conveyance path 42, and a storage portion 20b on the opposite side to the front surface 12A for storing the banknotes S in the intermediate pool portion 20a. The banknote S stored in the storage unit 20b can be withdrawn to the branch conveyance path 42. Similarly, the recirculation | reflux store | warehouse | chamber 21 is the storage part 21b on the opposite side to the front surface 12A which accommodates the intermediate | middle pool part 21a by the side of the front surface 12A which stores the banknote S received from the branch conveyance path 43, and the intermediate | middle pool part 21a. The banknote S stored in the storage unit 21b can be withdrawn to the branch conveyance path 43. Furthermore, the reflux container 22 also stores the intermediate pool portion 22a on the front surface 12A side for temporarily storing the banknote S received from the main transport path 38 and the storage portion 22b on the opposite side to the front surface 12A for storing the banknote S in the intermediate pool portion 22a. The bill S stored in the storage unit 22b can be withdrawn to the main transport path 38. The storage part 22b of the reflux container 22 on the side opposite to the first configuration group 25 has a larger storage capacity than the storage parts 20b and 21b of the other reflux containers 20 and 21, and has the largest handling amount. It is designed to store many thousand yen bills. Further, the reflux cabinet 20 on the most first configuration group 25 side accommodates other, for example, 10,000 yen bills, and the intermediate reflux cabinet 21 accommodates other, for example, 5,000 yen bills.

Further, between the first configuration group 25 and the second configuration group 26 of the main transport path 38, more specifically, between the branch position of the branch transport path 40 and the branch position of the branch transport path 41. In the intermediate conveyance path 45, a deposit identifying unit 47 for identifying a deposited banknote being conveyed from the first component group 25 side to the second component group 26 side is provided on the first component group 25 side, The deposit identification unit 47 reads the identification data of the deposited banknote along the conveyance direction, and the control unit 81 described above reads the identification data and the master data stored in advance when the identification data is completely read. And the denomination of the banknote S is finally determined. In addition, on the second component group 26 side of the intermediate conveyance path 45, the withdrawal identification for identifying the double feed of the withdrawal bill S being conveyed from the second component group 26 side to the first component group 25 side. A portion 48 is provided.

By the way, when the above-mentioned control unit 81 detects the deposited banknote along the transport direction by the depositing identification unit 47 and reads the identification data, the control unit 81 is a stage before the completion of the reading of the identification data, that is, for identification. At the stage where all the identification data cannot be detected, the denomination of the deposited banknote is provisionally determined. More specifically, the deposit identification unit 47 includes a color detection sensor that detects the color tone of the banknote, a sensor that detects the amount of money printed above or below the left and right ends of the banknote S, and the conveyance direction of the banknote S. A sensor for detecting a width orthogonal to the control unit 81 is provided, and the control unit 81 detects the gold based on the identification data when these sensors detect about 1/3 to 1/2 of the bill length direction. The species is tentatively decided. Here, for example, when the color tone of the entire banknote is different for each denomination, the denomination is provisionally determined by detecting the color tone of the leading edge of the banknote, and the monetary value is above or below the left and right end portions of the banknote S. Is printed, the denomination is tentatively determined by reading the printed monetary value with a sensor. Further, when the width perpendicular to the transport direction is different for each denomination of the banknote S, The width is detected and the denomination is provisionally determined. In order to make a provisional decision, at least the color detection sensor described above, a sensor for detecting the amount of money printed above or below the left and right ends of the banknote S, and a width orthogonal to the transport direction of the banknote S are detected. It is sufficient if one of the sensors such as the sensor to be provided is provided, but a plurality of sensors may be used at the same time. In addition, sensors such as the above-described color detection sensor having a different viewpoint from the deposit identifying unit 47 may be provided separately from the deposit identifying unit 47. In this case, the sensors perform provisional determination earlier. In addition, it is desirable to arrange as close to the depositing unit 15 as possible between the depositing unit 15 and the depositing identification unit 47.

And the banknote S by which the money type was tentatively determined by the control part 81 accommodates the money type temporarily determined among the reflux storages 20-22 by the conveyance part 37, before a money type is finally determined. It is conveyed toward. Here, the distance from the depositing identification unit 47 to the nearest reflux box 20, more specifically, the main conveyance path 38 and the branch conveyance path 42 connecting the deposit identification unit 47 and the reflux box 20 are configured. The distance of the path is set as the distance that the bill S moves from when the depositing identification unit 47 completes the reading of the identification data of the bill S until this decision is made. More specifically, even if the conveyance state of the conveyance unit 37 is continued, at the time when the banknote S is provisionally determined, the banknote S is for the reflux warehouse 20 on the most upstream side among the reflux warehouses 20 to 22. When the banknote S does not enter the branch conveyance path 42 and the final determination of the banknote S is made, the banknote S enters the branch conveyance path 42 when the provisional determination result is stored in the reflux cabinet 20. In order to be able to enter and return to the main conveyance path 38, a portion of the portion (for example, about 1/2 to 2/3) is transferred to the inside of the reflux cabinet 20 as a limit, and the payment identification is more than this state. The distance is set so as to be arranged on the part 47 side. Note that the terminal portions of the branch conveyance path 43 and the main conveyance path 38 are also provided at positions where it is possible to return them to the main conveyance path 38 even if the banknote S that is heading in enters at the time of this determination. It has been.

Identification information detection of the withdrawal identification unit 48 so that the banknote S identified by the withdrawal identification unit 48 can be stopped before the withdrawal unit 16, more specifically, the branch position of the branch conveyance path 39. The distance from the completion position to the dispensing unit 16, more specifically, the branch position of the branch conveyance path 39 is “maximum long side length of the banknote S” + “conveyance after the conveyance unit 37 is braked. The distance of the “conveyance length for the time required to stop the section 37” is set. In order to secure these distances, the positions of the deposit identification unit 47 and the withdrawal identification unit 48 in the intermediate transport unit 37 are set, and based on this, the first configuration group 25 and the second configuration group 26 are set. The interval between is set.

As shown in FIG. 4, the depositing portion 15 is rotatably provided with a rotation center in the width direction, and has a receiving base 53 having an upper shutter 50, a wall plate portion 51, and a lower bottom plate portion 52. And a moving roller 55 having a taper on both sides in the axial direction provided rotatably on the wall plate 51 with a rotation center in the width direction, and rotatable on the wall plate 51 with a central axis arranged in the vertical direction. And a plurality of cylindrical guide rollers 57 provided on both sides in the axial direction and tapered on both sides in the axial direction, and provided with a central axis in the depth direction so as to be rotatable above the bottom plate portion 52. ing.

Further, the depositing unit 15 has a bill press 60 provided on the back side of the wall plate portion 51 in the depth direction. The bill press 60 includes an upper plate portion 61 that is always orthogonal to the depth direction, and an upper plate portion 61. The lower end portion of the plate portion 61 has a lower plate portion 62 whose upper end edge portion is rotatably supported around a shaft 63 extending in the width direction.

Further, the depositing unit 15 is provided with a vibration mechanism 65 that vibrates the receiving base 53 up and down to drop foreign matter from the bill S, and a foreign matter that accepts foreign matter falling from the bill S under the guide roller 57. A receiving 66 is provided. Here, the vibration exciting mechanism 65 has a plurality of eccentric rollers 67 that come into contact with the receiving base 53 from below. By rotating these eccentric rollers 67, the receiving base 53 is vibrated up and down.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 5, the depositing unit 15 is provided with a sensor 69 for detecting the driving stop timing of the moving roller 55 at the upper portion, and the driving start timing of the moving roller 55 is set at the intermediate portion. A sensor 70 for detection is provided.

The depositing port 32 is provided above the depositing unit 15 at a position where the banknote S can be inserted by being opened by the shutter 50 of the receiving platform 53 when the receiving platform 53 tilts obliquely. That is, the banknote S is inserted into the depositing unit 15 in a state where the cradle 53 is tilted, and such a banknote S is pulled to a position where it comes into contact with the guide roller 57 by the moving roller 55, and FIG. As shown in (b), after the cradle 53 is returned to a posture in which the wall plate portion 51 is vertical and the deposit port 32 is closed by the shutter 50, the vibration is excited by the vibration mechanism 65, and then the bottom of the bill press 60. The plate portion 62 is rotated and brought into contact with the banknote S, and the banknote S is sent out to the main transport path 38 by the feed roller 56.

Note that the dispensing unit 16 has the same configuration as the depositing unit 15, and the banknote S sent from the branch conveyance path 39 is further inserted by a feeding roller so that the cradle can be tilted so that the banknote S can be taken out. Is protruded from the dispensing port 33 by a moving roller.

Operation | movement of the banknote depositing / withdrawing machine 11 of this embodiment of the structure described above is demonstrated according to each process.
"Deposit processing"
At the time of deposit processing, the control unit 81 rotates the cradle 53 of the deposit unit 15, and in this state, the banknote S has the short side direction along the height direction and the long side direction set in the width direction. In the standing state along the line, it is inserted from the deposit port 32. When the sensor 70 detects that the bill S has been inserted into the deposit port 32, the control unit 81 has pulled the bill S with the moving roller 55 and has pulled the bill S to a position where it comes into contact with the guide roller 57. Is detected by the sensor 69, the moving roller 55 is stopped, the receiving base 53 is returned so that the wall plate portion 51 is vertical, and then the vibration mechanism 65 is vibrated, and then the lower plate of the bill press 60 is obtained. The part 62 is rotated and brought into contact with the bill S, and the feed roller 56 separates and feeds them one by one to the main transport path 38.

And the banknote S sent out to the main conveyance path 38 will be identified by the deposit | payment identification part 47 during conveyance, but when a part of identification data of the banknote S is read, specifically, depositing. Before the banknote S is read over the entire long side direction by various sensors for identifying the banknote S constituting the identification unit 47, the control unit 81 temporarily determines the denomination of the banknote S. Then, although the identification data of the banknote S are read over the whole long side direction by the deposit | payment identification part 47, the control part 81 respond | corresponds among banknotes 20-22 based on this temporary determination after provisional determination. Transport toward the denomination.

Here, when the banknote S is transported toward the reflux warehouse 20, the control unit 81 opens the sorting unit 42 </ b> G for the reflux warehouse 20, and transports the banknote S toward the reflux warehouse 21. In this case, when the sorting unit 43G for the reflux cabinet 21 is opened while the sorting unit 42G is closed, and the banknote S is transported toward the reflux cabinet 22, the sorting unit 42G, 43G is closed.

Next, when the banknote S is being transported by the transport unit 37 toward the corresponding denomination of the reflux cabinets 20 to 22, the control unit 81 recognizes that the banknote S can be deposited, and further denominations. Is decided. Then, the control unit 81 compares the above-determined denomination and the final denomination while maintaining the conveyance state of the conveyance unit 37, and if these denominations match, The banknotes S are carried into the corresponding denominations of the reflux cabinets 20 to 22 without being stopped as they are. Here, if it is a depositable thousand yen bill, it is stored in the intermediate pool portion 22a of the reflux warehouse 22 as it is in the main transport path 38, and if it is a depositable 10,000 yen bill, a sorting portion is stored. 42G is stored in the intermediate pool part 20a of the reflux warehouse 20 via the branch conveyance path 42, and when it is a 5,000-yen bill that can be deposited, the reflux warehouse 21 via the branch conveyance path 43 at the sorting part 43G. In the intermediate pool portion 21a.

Here, for example, the operator confirms the price (banknote + coin) received from the customer at the POS cash register, inputs the deposit amount manually, and then withdraws the change amount obtained by subtracting the sales amount based on this. In the case of the change-first-out type, in which the received money is deposited, the banknote S is not returned to the customer on the machine side, so the banknotes are sequentially transferred from the intermediate pool sections 20a to 22a in the reflux cabinets 20 to 22. S is stored in the storage units 20b to 22b. On the other hand, in the case of the deposit destination confirmation type in which the deposit amount is determined from the identification result of the deposit identification unit 47, there is a possibility of returning to the customer, so the intermediate pool unit 20a is provided on the condition that the deposit confirmation operation is input. The banknotes S are stored in the storage units 20b to 22b from ˜22a.

In the case of a 2000 yen bill that does not have a recycle box but can be deposited, in the case of a change-first-out type, the timing at which this reaches the above-mentioned identification information detection completion position, specifically, the deposit identifying unit 47 The control unit 81 stops the transport unit 37 at the timing when the bills S are detected over the entire long side direction by various sensors for identifying the bills S constituting the.
And when the said banknote S is identified as a 2000 yen banknote by the deposit | payment identification part 47 during this conveyance stop, next, the control part 81 will open the distribution part 40G to the collection | recovery store | warehouse | chamber 17. When the banknote S is ready to be received in the collection box 17, the conveyance unit 37 is reversed and the distribution unit 40 </ b> G stores the banknote S in the collection box 17 via the branch conveyance path 40.

Further, in the case of the change-in-first-out type, when any of the reflux cabinets 20 to 22 is full and the denominated depositable banknote S reaches the above-described identification information detection completion position, specifically, The control unit 81 stops the transport unit 37 at a timing when the banknote S is detected over the entire long side direction by various sensors for identifying the banknote S constituting the deposit recognition unit 47. Then, when the banknote S is identified as a full denomination banknote by the deposit identifying unit 47 during the conveyance stop, the control unit 81 then opens the sorting unit 40G to the collection box 17. Thus, the banknote S can be received in the collection box 17, and the conveyance unit 37 is reversed and the banknote S is stored in the collection box 17 via the branch conveyance path 40 by the sorting unit 40 </ b> G.

On the other hand, if it is determined that the money type temporarily determined by the control unit 81 does not match the money type finally determined, the control unit 81 immediately stops the transport unit 37. In the case of the change-in-first-out type, the banknote S is stored in the collection box 17 because the deposit is already manually input although it is simply determined that there has been an identification error. That is, when the sorting unit 40G to the collection box 17 is opened, the banknote S can be received by the collection box 17, and the conveyance unit 37 is reversed to transfer the banknote S to the main conveyance path 38 and the branch conveyance. It is conveyed to the collection box 17 via the path 40. In addition, you may make it convey the said banknote S not to the collection | recovery store | warehouse | chamber 17 at this time but to the withdrawal part 16 and the withdrawal | rejection rejection store | warehouse | chamber 18. Furthermore, after reverse | reversing the conveyance part 37 and returning the banknote S to the appropriate position of the main conveyance path 38 as needed, it conveys again and accommodates in the thing of the denomination determined among the reflux warehouses 20-22. Also good.

In addition, in the case of the deposit destination confirmation type, when the transport unit 37 is stopped, the banknote S can be received by the withdrawal unit 16 by opening the sorting unit 39G to the withdrawal unit 16. Then, the transport unit 37 is reversed and the banknote S is transported to the dispensing unit 16 via the branch transport path 39 by the sorting unit 39G. And it returns to an operator as a state which can be taken out from the payment part 16 outside the apparatus. Here, in order to enable such reverse conveyance, the conveyance unit 37 always conveys only one banknote S at a time. When the banknote S being conveyed disappears from the conveyance unit 37, The banknote S is conveyed.

"Withdrawal processing"
At the time of the withdrawal process, the banknote S is transported from any one of the reflux warehouses 20 to 22 toward the withdrawal unit 16 via the main transport path 38, and the withdrawal is performed during the transport of the main transport path 38. When the bill S is identified by the identification unit 48, the timing at which the identification information detection completion position is reached, specifically, the bill S is detected by various sensors for identifying the bill S constituting the withdrawal identification unit 48. At the timing when the detection has been completed over the entire long side direction, the control unit 81 temporarily stops the conveyance of the banknote S by the conveyance unit 37. If the banknote S is identified as not being double-fed by the withdrawal identifying unit 48 while the conveyance is stopped, the control unit 81 then moves the sorting unit 39G for sorting to the dispensing unit 16. By opening the banknote S, the banknote S can be received by the dispensing unit 16, and the transport of the banknote S by the transport unit 37 is resumed. Thereby, the sorting unit 39G sends the banknote S to the dispensing unit 16 via the branch conveyance path 39. In this case, the withdrawal identification unit 48 has only a double detection sensor and checks only double feeding.

On the other hand, when the withdrawal identifying unit 48 identifies a multi-feed bill that cannot be dispensed, the timing at which the above-described identification information detection completion position is reached, specifically, the bill S constituting the withdrawal identifying unit 48 is identified. The control unit 81 stops the transport unit 37 at the timing when the banknote S has been detected over the entire long side direction by various sensors. If the banknote S is identified as a double-fed banknote by the withdrawal identifying unit 48 while the conveyance is stopped, the control unit 81 then opens the sorting unit 41G to the withdrawal reject box 18. Then, the banknote S is set in a state where it can be received in the withdrawal reject box 18, the transport unit 37 is reversed, and the banknote S is transported to the withdrawal reject box 18 via the branch transport path 41 by the sorting unit 41 </ b> G.

When the number of banknotes S to be withdrawn is fed into the withdrawal unit 16 by appropriately repeating the conveyance of the banknotes S to the withdrawal unit 16, the withdrawal unit 16 removes the banknotes S from the withdrawal port 33. It is in a state where it can be taken out.

"Recovery processing"
At the time of the collection process, the banknote S is conveyed from any one of the reflux containers 20 to 22 toward the collection container 17 through the main conveyance path 38, and a withdrawal identification unit is being conveyed during the conveyance of the main conveyance path 38. 48, when the banknote S which is not double-feed is identified, the timing at which the above-described identification information detection completion position is reached, specifically, the banknote S by various sensors for identifying the banknote S constituting the withdrawal identification unit 48. However, at the timing when the detection is completed over the entire long side direction, the control unit 81 temporarily stops the conveyance of the banknote S by the conveyance unit 37. If the banknote S is identified as not being double-fed by the withdrawal identifying unit 48 while the conveyance is stopped, the control unit 81 then opens the sorting unit 40G for sorting to the collection box 17. By operating the banknote S, the banknote S can be received in the collection box 17, and the transport of the banknote S by the transport unit 37 is resumed. Thereby, the banknote S is sent into the collection | recovery store | warehouse | chamber 17 via the branch conveyance path 40 by the distribution part 40G. In addition, it will collect | recover, confirming the collection amount in the payment | withdrawal identification part 48, and replacement | exchange of the collection | recovery store | warehouse | chamber 17 is repeated as needed.

On the other hand, when it is identified as a double-fed bill by the withdrawal identification unit 48, various timings for identifying the above-described identification information detection completion position, specifically, the bill S constituting the withdrawal identification unit 48 are identified. At the timing when the bill S is completely detected by the sensor over the entire long side direction, the control unit 81 temporarily stops the transport unit 37. Note that the banknote S is manually removed from the withdrawal reject box 18 after the collection process is completed. Moreover, in the case of the remaining collection | recovery which collects the banknote S in the banknote depositing / withdrawing machine 11 leaving a part for the next day's change payment etc., since the number-of-sheets amount of the return boxes 20-22 is grasped | ascertained, Repeat the above operation except for minutes. Here, when the three reflux warehouses 20-22 exist as mentioned above, depending on the denomination setting of each reflux warehouse 20-22, the reflux warehouse which makes the remaining number of sheets zero may exist.

"Loading process"
When all the collections for collecting the banknotes S from all the reflux cabinets 20 to 22 are performed, a loading process for loading a change reserve is performed. This loading process is performed in substantially the same manner as the above depositing process.

According to the banknote depositing and dispensing machine 11 of the present embodiment described above, the depositing unit 15 into which the banknote S is inserted from the outside of the machine, and the withdrawal unit from which the banknote S is drawn out from the inside of the apparatus so that it can be taken out of the apparatus. 16, a plurality of recirculation cabinets 20 to 22 for storing the banknotes S and withdrawing the stored banknotes S to the withdrawal unit 16, and a collection box capable of storing the banknotes S from the depositing unit 15 and the reflux storage units 20 to 22. 17 and the withdrawal reject bank 18 for storing the withdrawal reject banknote S among the banknotes S withdrawn from the reflux warehouses 20 to 22 so that the thickness directions of the banknotes S received in the respective banknotes S are the same direction. Since the conveyance unit 37 for connecting them is arranged only on one side in the direction orthogonal to the parallel arrangement direction, the whole is not elongated in one direction. The size can be reduced. Moreover, since the transport unit 37 is disposed only on the same side with respect to the depositing unit 15, the dispensing unit 16, the collection store 17, the withdrawal reject unit 18, and the plurality of return cabinets 20 to 22, distribution to each unit The direction of the sheet is not complicated, and it is possible to suppress the occurrence of a jam at the time of banknote conveyance, and even if a jam occurs, the access to the conveyance unit 37 is easy and the jam can be easily eliminated. In this case, processing is performed by opening the side surface of the housing 12 on the transport unit 37 side.

Further, the depositing unit 15, the withdrawal unit 16 and the collection store 17 are set as a group of the first configuration group 25, and the withdrawal and rejection unit 18 and the plurality of return cabinets 20 to 22 are grouped as the second configuration group 26. In addition, a deposit identifying unit 47 for identifying deposited banknotes is provided on the first configuration group 25 side of the intermediate conveyance path 45 between the first configuration group 25 and the second configuration group 26, and the intermediate conveyance path 45 is provided. Since the withdrawal identification unit 48 for identifying the withdrawal banknote is provided on the second configuration group 26 side, even if the intermediate conveyance path 45 is shortened, a deposit identification unit that requires at least one banknote length is required. The distance between 47 and the recirculation cabinet 20 can be secured, and the distance between the withdrawal identifying unit 48 and the withdrawal unit 16 that require at least the length of one bill can be secured. Therefore, the length of the depositing unit 15, the dispensing unit 16, the collection store 17, the withdrawal reject store 18, and the plurality of reflux stores 20 to 22 can be further shortened.

For example, if the banknote S thrown into the depositing unit 15 is conveyed by the conveyance unit 37 and is identified as the bankable S that can be deposited by the depositing identification unit 47, it is stored in the corresponding one of the recirculation cabinets 20-22. In other words, if the deposit identifying unit 47 identifies the banknote S as a deposit reject banknote that cannot be deposited, it can be transported to the withdrawal unit 16 or the collection box 17 by reversing the transport unit 37. Further, for example, if the banknote S stored in the reflux cabinets 20 to 22 is transported by the transport unit 37 and identified as the banknote S that can be withdrawn by the withdrawal identifying unit 48, the banknote S is transported to the withdrawal unit 16. Thus, if it is identified as a withdrawal reject banknote S that cannot be withdrawn by the withdrawal identification unit 48, it can be stored in the withdrawal reject box 18 by reversing the transport unit 37. Thereby, the conveyance part 37 is not reversed after stopping at the time of identification of the frequently depositable banknote S and the withdrawal possible banknote S, and the conveyance part 37 only at the time of identification of the receipt reject banknote S and the withdrawal reject banknote S with low occurrence frequency. By reversing (switching back) after stopping, it is possible to suppress the increase in processing time as much as possible.

Furthermore, since the denomination can be tentatively determined based on the identification result of the deposit identifying unit 47 when the banknote S is being transported from the depositing unit 15 by the transport unit 37 by the control unit 81, the bill S is provisionally determined. Based on the determined denomination, the transport unit 37 transports the banknote S toward any one of the reflux warehouses 20 to 22, and then transfers the banknotes S of the reflux warehouses 20 to 22 based on the determined money type. Since it becomes possible to accommodate the banknote S in the thing of any corresponding denomination among the recirculation | reflux stores 20-22 if it will be in the state which can be accepted in the thing of any corresponding denomination among them, the money_receiving | payment identification part 47. Thus, it is possible to further shorten the time from when the denomination is finally determined until the banknote S is accommodated in one of the corresponding denominations among the reflux cabinets 20 to 22.

Moreover, since the conveyance part 37 can be reversed (switched back) when the money type finally determined by the control part 81 and the money type decided provisionally do not correspond, for example, a part of banknote S has already existed. Even if it is in the state inside any of the reflux cabinets 20 to 22, it is smoothly conveyed to the collection cabinet 17 and the withdrawal unit 16 without causing jamming of the banknote at the entrance of the reflux cabinets 20 to 22. be able to.

Also, for example, when the denomination of the denomination is not performed, the banknote S cannot be carried into the branch transport paths 42 and 43 before the final determination, and the banknote S is also branched into the branch transport path 42 at the time of the final determination. The main conveyance path 38 from the deposit identification unit 47 to the front of the branch conveyance path 42 must be set so that the conveyance is performed on the upstream side, but the control unit 81 makes a temporary determination of the denomination. Thus, since the banknote S can be transported via the branch transport path 42 until immediately before it is accommodated in the reflux warehouse 20, for example, before the final determination of the denomination, the length of the branch transport path 42 is increased. In addition to this, only the limit (for example, about 1/2 to 2/3 of the length of the above-mentioned banknote) that can be carried into the inside of the reflux cabinet 20 is before the branch conveyance path 42 from the above-described deposit identification unit 47. The distance of the main conveyance path 38 can be shortened. Therefore, the apparatus can be reduced in size.

In addition, the control unit 81 temporarily stops the transport of the banknote S by the transport unit 37 at a timing based on the timing at which the banknote S transported from the reflux containers 20 to 22 by the transport unit 37 is detected by the withdrawal identification unit 48. When the banknote S is received by the dispensing unit 16, the transport of the banknote S by the transport unit 37 is resumed, so that the identification is completed after the banknote S is detected. It is not necessary to carry the part for a time, and the distance between the withdrawal identifying part 48 and the withdrawal part 16 can be further shortened. Therefore, the length of the depositing unit 15, the dispensing unit 16, the collection store 17, the withdrawal reject store 18, and the plurality of reflux stores 20 to 22 can be further shortened.

Furthermore, since the depositing unit 15, the withdrawal unit 16, and the collection box 17 are arranged in this order in the first configuration group 25, and the collection box 17 is provided most on the second configuration group 26 side, the deposit unit 15 and the withdrawal unit 16 can be secured, and the distance between the withdrawal identification unit 48 and the withdrawal unit 16 can be secured.

In addition, since the withdrawal reject box 18 is provided closest to the first group 25, the second group 26 can secure a distance between the deposit identifying unit 47 and the reflux box 20.

When the banknote S is detected by the withdrawal identification unit 48 at the time of withdrawal, the transportation of the transportation unit 37 is temporarily stopped, and after the identification that it is not a double feed, the sorting unit 39G is opened and the withdrawal port 33 is opened. Instead of transporting, it is also possible to open the distribution unit 39G from the beginning at the time of withdrawal. However, even at the time of withdrawal, the sorting unit 39G is initially closed, and after the banknote S is stopped, the sorting unit 39G is opened and the banknote is transported to the withdrawal unit 16 so that the bill is being transported when an error occurs. It can be determined from the open / closed state of the transport unit 37 whether the bill is a bill under machine management or a bill that has been withdrawn. That is, if the sorting unit 39G is closed, the banknote S positioned immediately before it is a banknote under machine management, and if the sorting unit 39G is open, even the banknote S positioned immediately before it is withdrawn. It is assumed that the bill S is already handled.

In the above embodiment, the case where the shortest side portion 12a of the housing 12 is installed in the height direction, the intermediate length side portion 12b is arranged in the width direction, and the longest side portion 12c is arranged in the depth direction. As illustrated in FIG. 6, as shown in FIG. 6, the shortest side portion 12a is arranged in the depth direction, the intermediate length side portion 12b is arranged in the width direction, and the longest side portion 12c is arranged in the height direction. It is also possible.

Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the deposit port 32 of the deposit unit 15 and the withdrawal port 33 of the withdrawal unit 16 are opened in the surface portion 12C formed by the shortest side portion 12a and the longest side portion 12c. Further, the shortest side portion 12a of the casing 12 is installed in the width direction, the side portion 12b having an intermediate length is arranged in the depth direction, and the longest side portion 12c is arranged in the height direction, as shown in FIG. In addition, the shortest side portion 12a of the housing 12 can be installed in the width direction, the side portion 12b having an intermediate length in the height direction, and the longest side portion 12c in the depth direction. In these cases, since it is necessary to exchange the depositing unit 15 and the dispensing unit 16, the change can be handled by opening the lid 30 and exchanging the unit 28 including the first component group 25 for each unit. In this case, the banknote S is inserted and dispensed along the long side direction, and the transport unit 37 transports the banknote S along the long side direction.

Moreover, it is good also considering the said deposit port 32 and the withdrawal port 33 as a common deposit / withdrawal port.
Furthermore, the above-described banknote depositing / dispensing machine 11 may be reversed left and right, and the conveyance unit 37 may be disposed on the opposite side to the above in the width direction.
