Description
The present invention relates to an electrode member for electrode protection and an electrode device for preventing metal equipment such as a condenser and a heat exchanger from being corroded by a corrosive liquid such as seawater. More specifically, the electrode member can be easily replaced. In addition, the present invention relates to an electrode body for electrode protection and an electrode device that can achieve a longer life of the electrode body itself, are excellent in economic efficiency, and can reduce industrial waste.
Conventionally, metal equipment such as condensers and heat exchangers is made of metal such as iron, copper, titanium, and the like, and its surface is anticorrosive to prevent corrosion.
However, when a pinhole occurs in a part of the anticorrosion coating, the metal is exposed, a local battery is formed there, and the metal is ionized and eluted into an electrolyte such as seawater. For this reason, corrosion will generate | occur | produce in the exposed part of a metal.
For this reason, an electrode device for anticorrosion is installed in the metal equipment, and the anticorrosion is performed. As an electrode used for such an electrode apparatus for anticorrosion, the thing made from a lead silver alloy was used.
However, this lead-silver alloy electrode has a small unit generated current per electrode surface area and a large consumption rate. Therefore, there arises a disadvantage that the electrode shape must be increased or the number of electrodes must be increased. Moreover, since lead is used, there is a problem from the viewpoint of environment in disposal and the like.
Therefore, as disclosed in Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent Publication No. 42-23810) and the like, platinum or the like is formed on the surface of a non-conductive metal such as titanium as an electrode having a large unit generated current per electrode surface area and a low consumption rate. Conventionally, an insoluble electrode having a noble metal coating layer plated or sprayed with a noble metal has been proposed.
Such an insoluble electrode has a generated current density determined by a noble metal coating layer formed on the surface of the non-conductive metal. For this reason, various attempts have been made to effectively utilize the precious metal coating layer and extend the life of the insoluble electrode. For example, in Patent Document 2 (Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-43354), the surface is subjected to ion irradiation treatment or ion mixing treatment, thereby preventing exposure of the non-conductive metal to the surface and the like. Although it is described that the life is extended, there is a limit to extending the life of the insoluble electrode.
As described above, since the generated current density is determined by the noble metal coating layer formed on the surface of the insoluble electrode, it is sufficient that the surface of the nonconductive metal such as titanium can be effectively used. Use of an expensive non-conductive metal more than necessary increases the electrode cost and is very uneconomical. Therefore, the conventional insoluble electrode is generally used in the form of a line or a cylinder from the economical viewpoint. However, the insoluble electrode having such a shape is vulnerable to physical influences such as water flow, and may cause a short circuit accident.
In addition, non-conductive metals such as titanium left after consumption of the precious metal coating layer coated on the surface of the insoluble electrode are disposed of regardless of the usable state and are extremely uneconomical. .
In order to install an insoluble electrode in the above metal equipment, for example, a condenser, the insoluble electrode is attached to an electrode receiver and used as a flange type electrode device. It is necessary to remove the flange type electrode device, the energizing cable outside the water chamber, and the conduit. In addition, after the replacement, watertight inspection, cable connection, and conduit restoration work are involved. In addition, since the electrode and the electrode receiver have an integral structure, it is necessary to recover the noble metal by cutting the electrode after the replacement in order to recover the noble metal such as platinum.
As one countermeasure against the above-described problem, an electrode apparatus for cathodic protection in which an electrode and an electrode receiver can be removed has been proposed in order to facilitate replacement of an insoluble electrode. In Patent Document 3 (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 57-55330), a metal cylindrical support mount having an insulating ring inserted and fixed is penetrated and fixed to the inner wall of the equipment through a flange plate, and a non-conductive metal is attached to the support mount. An electrode device for cathodic protection is described in which a bolt is made through and fixed, and an insoluble anode in which a noble metal layer is formed on the surface of a cylindrical body made of a non-conductive metal is screwed into a protruding end of the inner wall side of the bolt. Yes.
Patent Document 4 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-226788) includes an electrode rod and a holder, the electrode rod includes a fixed end at one end, and the fixed end has a male screw formed on the surface. The holding body has electrical insulation, includes a holding hole at one end, and the holding hole has an internal thread formed on the inner surface. The electrode rod and the holding body are connected to each other at the male screw portion of the fixed end and the internal thread portion of the holding hole. An electrocorrosive electrode device with screw connection is described.
According to the electrode devices described in
However, even in these electrode devices, it is difficult to easily replace the electrodes. For example, in the electrode device of
Thus, in the past, the electrode body and electrode for anticorrosion that can be used stably without loosening or contact failure, and that the replacement of the electrode (body) has been simplified and the life of the electrode body itself has been extended. No device has been obtained.
Therefore, the object of the present invention is to be used stably without any looseness or contact failure, to facilitate the replacement of the electrode body, and to achieve a long life of the electrode body itself, which is excellent in economic efficiency and environmental performance. An object of the present invention is to provide an electrode body for electrode protection and an electrode device.
As a result of the study, the present inventors have provided a rod-shaped electrode for anticorrosion with a nut at the end and an arc-shaped cross section at the tip, and a rod- shaped electrode and a cylindrical electrode receiver. The co-rotation preventing means is composed of an insulating resin having a convex portion covering the electrode receiver and a support metal fitting covering the outer periphery and having a concave portion, and is formed by fitting the convex portion and the concave portion. Is preferably used.
In the electrode device for anticorrosion according to the present invention, the electrode member for anticorrosion according to the present invention described above is preferably used as the electrode body.
The electrode body for cathodic protection according to the present invention has an arc-shaped cross section at the tip, so that it is possible to reduce the uneven current distribution of the noble metal coating layer, and to avoid situations such as peeling of the noble metal coating layer. Furthermore, the electrode life can be extended by making the thickness of the noble metal coating layer at the tip of the arc-shaped section thicker than the thickness of the other portion of the noble metal coating layer. And since it has a nut in the screwing part with an electrode receiver, the looseness and contact failure with an electrode receiver can be prevented. In addition, since the electrode body in which the noble metal coating layer is consumed can be reused by coating the noble metal again, industrial waste is greatly reduced and it is economical.
Moreover, since the electrode apparatus for anticorrosion which concerns on this invention has a nut in the screwing part of an electrode body and an electrode receiver, respectively, replacement | exchange of an electrode body becomes very easy. Moreover, since a washer is inserted between the nuts, loosening and poor contact during use are further prevented. In addition, since the electrode receiver is provided with the co-rotation preventing means, the electrode receiver does not co-rotate with the electrode body, so that the electrode body can be replaced more easily.
Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail.
FIG. 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing one embodiment of an electrode
In FIG. 1, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
Noble
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, the thickness of the noble
As shown in FIG. 1, a rod-shaped
