Claims (3)
- 機械要素の中心には機械加工孔とツール逃げ孔が同軸に形作られており、前記機械要素を、ツール逃げ孔開口端が対象部材の表面に向き合うように配置し、ツール逃げ孔に挿入可能な形状で且つ軸線方向長さが対象部材の厚さを上回るピン部を有する接合ツールを、回転させながら対象部材の裏面の機械要素中心に重なっている個所へ押し付け、摩擦熱により軟化した対象部材にピン部を突き通し、この後、接合ツールを対象部材から引き抜き、ピン部に見合う孔が形成された対象部材の塑性変形部位を硬化させることを特徴とする機械要素接合方法。
- ピン部を円柱状のショルダ部に同軸に設けた接合ツールを、当該ショルダ部が対象部材の裏面に摺接するまで押し付けるようにする請求項1に記載の機械要素接合方法。
- ピン部の先端を鈍角状の円錐形とした接合ツールを対象部材の裏面に押し付けるようにする請求項1あるいは請求項2のいずれかに記載の機械要素接合方法。
