Description

一般的に、DELPアルゴリズムは、最適化のために比較的シンプルな誤差関数を利用し、ループの線形特性を最大限活用している。このことが、アルゴリズムを著しく改善し、その実行時間を短縮させる。

Claims (9)
- 最大で二つまでのブリッジタップを有する銅製電話回線に関するダブルエンド回線調査(DELP)を実行する方法であって、
あらゆる可能なブリッジタップのゲージ及び長さに関する第一のブリッジタップ誤差関数を生成するステップと、
前記第一のブリッジタップ誤差関数を最小化する各ブリッジタップのゲージ及び長さを推定するステップと、
前記回線の長さ及び前記ゲージの第一の近似を推定するステップと、
推定された前記ブリッジタップのゲージ及び長さと、前記回線の長さ及びゲージの近似と、に基づいて、あらゆる可能なブリッジタップの位置に関する第二のブリッジタップ誤差関数を生成するステップと、
全てのブリッジタップの位置にわたって前記第二のブリッジタップ誤差関数を最小化することによって、各ブリッジタップの位置を推定するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 推定された前記ブリッジタップの位置、ゲージ及び長さ、並びに前記回線の長さ及びゲージの近似に基づいて、あらゆる可能な回線のゲージ及び長さに関する回線誤差関数を生成するステップと、
全ての回線のゲージ及び長さにわたって前記回線誤差関数を最小化することによって、前記回線の長さ及びゲージの第二の近似を算出するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 測定された全体的な挿入損失の大きさと推定された全体的な挿入損失の大きさとの差が所定の誤差閾値よりも大きいかについて判定した結果に応じて、本方法が、パラメータ推定結果を改善するために回数を繰り返す
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記測定された全体的な挿入損失の大きさと前記推定された全体的な挿入損失の大きさとの差を決定するために誤差関数を生成するステップ
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。 - 推定された全ての前記ブリッジタップのゲージ及び長さに関するチャネルの挿入損失の大きさの積で、測定された全体的なチャネルの挿入損失の大きさを割ることによって、前記ブリッジタップが無い回線のチャネルの挿入損失の大きさを導出するステップをさらに含み、
前記回線の長さ及びゲージの第一の近似を推定するステップは、導出された前記チャネルの挿入損失大きさに基づくとともに、前記回線のチャネルの挿入損失の大きさ並びに回線の長さ及びゲージを関連付ける理論的ループモデルに基づいている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
