Description

The present invention relates to a rotary switch.

Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 10, a rotary switch that can be attached to an attachment frame defined in JIS C 8375 has been provided (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

The rotary switch includes a housing (not shown) that is held in the fixture mounting opening of the mounting frame 9 and an in-plane view that is held by the housing so that a part of the rotary switch is exposed to the front surface of the housing as viewed from the front. JP 2000-243170 A

In the conventional rotary switch, the contact portion and the handle 3 are provided only for one circuit, that is, only one circuit load can be controlled per one mounting frame 9. Therefore, when the load to be controlled by the rotary switch is, for example, two circuits, two mounting frames 9 are provided or two appliance mounting openings are arranged side by side and two rotary switches can be mounted. It is necessary to use a continuous mounting frame, and in any case, the area required for mounting is large.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described reasons, and an object thereof is to provide a rotary switch capable of reducing an area required for mounting.

The invention of claim 1 is a housing formed in a dimension shape of three unit-sized wiring devices that can be mounted side by side in a device mounting opening of a standardized mounting frame for embedded arrangement, Two switch portions arranged in the longitudinal direction viewed from the front of the housing and held by the housing, respectively, and each switch portion is exposed in the front side of the housing in a plane viewed from the front. A handle that is pivotably held, at least two terminal portions that are housed in a housing and electrically and mechanically connected to each other, and a terminal portion that is housed in the housing and rotates with the handle. A contact portion for switching electrical connection, and the rear surface of the housing is provided with at least one wire insertion port for inserting a wire connected to the terminal portion for each terminal portion. According to the present invention, since a two-circuit rotary switch can be used per one instrument mounting opening of the mounting frame, the area required for mounting is reduced as compared with the case where only one circuit rotary switch is provided. be able to. In addition, the distance between the terminal portions belonging to the different switch portions is larger than the case where each terminal portion is disposed between the rotation shafts of the two handles as viewed from the front, so that the distance between the wire insertion ports is increased. Therefore, it is easy to connect the wire to the terminal part because the wire connected to the terminal part of the other switch part is not obstructive when connecting the wire to the terminal part in each one switch part. This improves workability.

The invention according to claim 2 is a housing formed in a size and shape corresponding to three unit-sized wiring devices that can be mounted side by side in a device mounting opening of a standardized mounting frame for embedded arrangement, Two switch portions arranged in the longitudinal direction viewed from the front of the housing and held by the housing, respectively, and each switch portion is exposed in the front side of the housing in a plane viewed from the front. A handle that is pivotably held, at least two terminal portions that are housed in a housing and electrically and mechanically connected to each other, and a terminal portion that is housed in the housing and rotates with the handle. A contact portion for switching electrical connection, and the rear surface of the housing is provided with at least one wire insertion slot for each terminal portion into which a wire connected to the terminal portion is inserted. Characterized in that it is located outside in the longitudinal direction of the housing for each look et pivot shaft of each handle each of the terminal portions.

According to the present invention, since a two-circuit rotary switch can be used per one instrument mounting opening of the mounting frame, the area required for mounting is reduced as compared with the case where only one circuit rotary switch is provided. be able to. Further, since the distance between the handles is increased as compared with the invention of claim 1, the operability is improved.

The invention of claim 3 is a housing formed in a size and shape corresponding to three unit-sized wiring devices that can be mounted side by side in the device mounting opening of a standardized mounting frame for embedded arrangement, Two switch portions arranged in the longitudinal direction viewed from the front of the housing and held by the housing, respectively, and each switch portion is exposed in the front side of the housing in a plane viewed from the front. Since the electric wire connected to the terminal part of the other switch part is not easily obstructed at the time of connection, the electric wire can be easily connected to the terminal part and the workability is improved.

According to the first to third aspects of the present invention, each of the three wiring appliances having unit dimensions that can be mounted side by side in the appliance mounting opening of the standardized mounting frame for embedding is provided. Since the housing is formed and two switch portions are respectively held in the housing side by side in the longitudinal direction as viewed from the front of the housing, a two-circuit rotary switch is used for each instrument mounting opening of the mounting frame. Therefore, the area required for mounting can be reduced as compared with the case where only one circuit of the rotary switch is provided.

The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

(Embodiment 1)
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the three-dimensional wiring apparatus having a unit size that can be mounted in a line in the apparatus mounting opening of the standardized mounting frame 9 for embedding is formed. The housing 2 is formed, and two handles 3 are arranged so as to be vertically arranged in FIG. 2 and exposed to the front surface of the housing 2 so as to be rotatable in a plane viewed from the front with respect to the housing 2. Here, “front” in the present specification is a direction that intersects the construction surface in a state of being attached to a construction surface (not shown) such as a wall surface and is a direction away from the construction surface (lower left direction in FIG. 2). Point to. In the following, the vertical direction is based on FIG. 2, and the upper left-lower right direction in FIG.

As shown in FIG. 3, the housing 2 includes a body 21 in which two storage recesses 20 each storing a charging unit corresponding to a switch unit for one circuit are arranged on the front side, and a front side of the body 21. And a cover 22 that mechanically couples together with the handle 3 to cover the storage recess 20. Each of the body 21 and the cover 22 is made of a synthetic resin molded product, for example.

The body 21 as a whole has a rectangular parallelepiped shape that is long in the vertical direction. Positioning protrusions 21a are provided at the center in the horizontal direction on both the upper and lower surfaces of the body 21 so as to protrude outward in the vertical direction. Each of the coupling protrusions 21b protrudes outward in the vertical direction. The front surface of each coupling protrusion 21b is inclined backward toward the outside in the vertical direction.

The cover 22 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape with an open rear surface, and two circular handle insertion holes 2a through which the handle 3 is inserted are vertically arranged in the front-rear direction. The handle 3 includes a columnar main body 31 whose axial direction is directed in the front-rear direction, and an annular flange 32 that protrudes in the radial direction from the rear end of the main body 31. The outer diameter of the main body 31 of the handle 3 is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the handle insertion hole 2a, and the outer diameter of the flange 32 of the handle 3 is larger than the inner diameter of the handle insertion hole 2a. In the handle 3, the main body 31 protrudes forward from the front surface of the housing 2 through the handle insertion hole 2 a, and the cover 22 is prevented from falling off to the front at the flange 32. In addition, on the outer peripheral surface of the main body 31 of the handle 3, a large number of anti-slip recesses 31b that are long in the front and rear are provided in the circumferential direction so that the handle 3 can be easily operated.

In addition, the cover 22 is provided with positioning notches 22a that are opened on both the upper and lower sides and the rear in the center portion in the left-right direction on the walls facing the upper and lower sides. The coupling hole 22b is vertically penetrated. In joining the body 21 and the cover 22, the cover 22 is pushed backward with respect to the body 21 such that the positioning protrusions 21 a of the body 21 are introduced into the positioning notches 22 a of the cover 22. Then, the upper and lower walls of the cover 22 are elastically deformed so that the rear end portion is displaced outward in the vertical direction by being guided by the front surface of the coupling protrusion 21b. When the coupling protrusions 21b of the body 21 reach the coupling holes 22b, the upper and lower walls of the cover 22 are restored, and the coupling protrusions 21b are engaged with the coupling holes 22b, respectively. Bind to each other.

The mounting frame 9 is formed by punching and bending a metal plate, for example, and has a main body portion 91 in which a vertically long rectangular instrument mounting opening 90 is provided at the front and rear, and both left and right ends of the main body portion 91. And a mounting portion 92 that protrudes rearward from the portion and faces left and right. On the upper and lower sides of the instrument mounting opening 90 in the main body 91, when a box (not shown) for embedding is used, which is a long hole on the left and right, the mounting frame 9 to the box is mounted. A box hole 91a used for screwing, and a scissor that is arranged on the left and right sides of the box hole 91a and is L-shaped and is used when a scissor metal (not shown) is used to fix the mounting frame 9. A hole 91b, a circular plate hole 91c that is disposed on the outer side in the vertical direction with respect to the box hole 91a and used to attach a plate frame (not shown) to the attachment frame 9, and both left and right sides of the plate hole 91c Circular direct attachment holes 91d that are respectively arranged and used when the mounting frame 9 is directly screwed to the construction surface are respectively provided through the front and rear.

Each attachment portion 92 of the attachment frame 9 has six attachment holes 92a arranged vertically and penetrating left and right. Two mounting holes 92a arranged in the vertical direction correspond to wiring appliances of unit size, and the mounting frame 9 can mount up to three wiring devices of unit size in the vertical direction.

The size and shape of the cover 22 as viewed from the front is slightly smaller than the instrument mounting opening 90 of the mounting frame 9, and the two positions corresponding to the upper two mounting holes 92 a on the right side of the cover 22 and the bottom are as follows. The mounting protrusions 2b are provided in the left and right directions at a total of four locations including two locations corresponding to the two mounting holes 92a on the side and two locations corresponding to the two central mounting holes 92a on the left surface of the cover 22. It protrudes outward. Each mounting projection 2b has a front surface inclined rearward toward the outside in the left-right direction. In attaching the housing 2 to the attachment frame 9, the housing 2 is pushed into the instrument attachment opening 90 from the rear with the right attachment protrusions 2 b engaged with the attachment holes 92 a. Then, the front surface of each of the left mounting projections 2b is guided by the rear end of the mounting portion 92, and the vicinity of the mounting projection 2b on the left wall of the cover 22 is elastically deformed so that the rear end portion is displaced inward in the left-right direction. Eventually, when each mounting projection 2b reaches the mounting hole 92a, the cover 22 returns and each mounting projection 2b engages with the mounting hole 92a, where the housing is held by the mounting frame 9.

Further, a decorative cover 24 that covers a part of the housing 2 and the mounting frame 9 when viewed from the front is attached to the front side of the housing 2 and the mounting frame 9. The decorative cover 24 is made of, for example, a synthetic resin molded product, has a rectangular shape when viewed from the front, and has a flat shape in the front and rear, and two circular handles through which the main body 31 of the handle 3 is inserted. The insertion holes 24a are arranged vertically and penetrated in the front-rear direction.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 4, each storage recess 20 has two movable contacts 41 and two fixed contacts 42 constituting a contact portion, and a movable electrically connected to each movable contact 41. A side terminal plate 51 and two fixed side terminal plates 52 each having one fixed contact 42 are accommodated. The movable terminal plate 51 and the fixed terminal plate 52 are each formed by punching and bending a metal plate, for example. The movable side terminal plate 51 and each fixed side terminal plate 52 are housed in the upper end of the housing recess 20, respectively, and the two fixed side terminal plates 52 are arranged side by side on the right side of the movable side terminal plate 51. In each storage recess 20, a partition wall 20 a that partitions the movable terminal plate 51 and the fixed terminal plate 52 protrudes downward from the upper inner surface.

As shown in FIG. 5, each fixed-side terminal plate 52 has a main body portion 52 a whose thickness direction is directed in the left-right direction and left and right ends of the main body portion 52 a (upper left-lower right direction in FIG. 5). Extending from the tip of the lower terminal convex portion 52b and the terminal convex portion 52b that protrudes in the direction and close to the other fixed side terminal plate 52 that is stored in the same storage concave portion 20 and is opposed to the upper and lower sides. And a contact holding portion 52c provided with a fixed contact 42 below. The contact holding part 52c is provided so as to be shifted forward and backward between the fixed side terminal plates 52 accommodated in the same accommodating recess 20, and the fixed contact 42 provided on the left fixed side terminal plate 52 is provided on the right fixed side. It is located in front of the fixed contact 42 provided on the terminal board 52.

The movable terminal plate 51 has a U-shaped main body 51a as viewed from the left-right direction, and a connecting portion 51b projecting downward from the left end of the main body 51a. Each movable contact 41 is mechanically and electrically connected to the movable terminal plate 51 through a contact spring 43 and is held below each fixed contact 52. The contact spring 43 is formed, for example, by punching and bending a metal plate thinner than the material of the terminal plates 51 and 52. As shown in FIG. The fixed portion 43a fixed to the connecting portion 51b of the movable terminal plate 51 by the above, and the upper surface of the right end portion that protrudes rightward from the upper end portion of the fixed portion 43a and is arranged in the front-rear direction and the thickness direction is directed vertically. And two spring portions 43b provided with a movable contact 41. The spring portion 43b can be elastically deformed so that the right end portion is displaced up and down with respect to the left end portion, that is, the movable contact 41 is separated from the fixed contact 42.

Further, a chain constituting a well-known quick connection terminal together with the terminal plates 51 and 52 between the position surrounded by the main body 51a of the movable terminal plate 51 and the terminal convex portions 52b of the fixed terminal plates 52, respectively. A lock spring 53 is arranged. Electric wire insertion openings 2c are provided at the bottom of the housing recess 20 of the body 21 at the rear side of the locking spring 53, respectively, and electric wires (not shown) inserted through the electric wire insertion openings 2c. Is locked by the lock spring 53 so as to be in contact with any one of the terminal plates 51 and 52 corresponding to the electric wire insertion opening 2c, and is prevented from dropping out of the electric wire insertion opening 2c. Further, a release button 54 made of, for example, a synthetic resin molding is disposed on the rear side of the lock spring 53, and a release hole 2d is provided in the front and rear of the release button 54 on the bottom surface of the housing recess 20 of the body 21. Has been. In a state where the electric wire is locked to the lock spring 53, if the release button 54 is pushed by inserting a jig (not shown) such as a minus driver from the release hole 2d, the lock spring 53 is pressed by the release button 54. Can be pressed and bent, the lock can be released, and the electric wire can be pulled out from the electric wire insertion port 2c. The two lock springs 53 respectively disposed between the terminal convex portions 52 b of the fixed side terminal plate 52 are simultaneously pressed by one release button 54.

Further, a bearing recess (not shown) is provided in the inner bottom surface of each storage recess 20 below any of the terminal plates 51 and 52 and in the center in the left-right direction. The rear end portion of the long shaft 6 is pivotally supported in the front-rear direction so that the shaft 6 can be rotated with respect to the housing 2 in a plane viewed from the front.

Further, a connecting recess (not shown) into which the rear end portion of the shaft 6 is inserted is provided at the center of the rear surface of each handle 3. The front end portion of each shaft 6 has a shape in which a cross section orthogonal to the axial direction is cut out of a part of the circle, and the cross section orthogonal to the depth direction of the connecting recess of each handle 3 is similarly circular. The handle and the shaft rotate together when the cut-out portions are joined together. Here, the rotation axis of the shaft 6, that is, the rotation axis of the handle 3 is located below any of the terminal plates 51 and 52.

Further, an intermediate frame 23 is formed between the body 21 and the cover 22, which is made of, for example, a synthetic resin molded product and is positioned on the front side of the terminal plates 51 and 52 to prevent the terminal plates 51 and 52 from being displaced forward. Is held. The middle frame 23 has two bearing portions 23a through which the shaft 6 is inserted, each of which has a cylindrical shape in which the front end portion projects forward from the other part of the middle frame 23.

In each shaft 6, cam projections 6 a are provided in the radial direction at two locations overlapping the spring portion 43 b of the contact spring 43 as viewed from the up-down direction. Projecting direction of each cam projection 6 a as viewed from the front are offset from one another in each cam projection 6 a. Specifically, it is offset such as about 45 degrees in the clockwise direction as viewed from the front with respect to the projecting direction of the cam protrusion 6 a of the projecting direction rear side of the front cam projection 6 a.

Here, a mark 31 a indicating the operation position is provided on the front surface of the main body 31 of the handle 3, and “OFF”, “AUTO”, and “CONTINUOUS ON” are displayed around the handle insertion hole 24 a on the front surface of the decorative cover 24. When the mark 31a provided on the handle 3 is set to any of the above indications, the electrical connection between the terminal boards 51 and 52 is switched according to the indication to which the mark 31a is set. It has become. Specifically, when the mark 31a of the handle 3 is aligned with the "OFF" are both cam projection 6 a shaft 6 also does not press the contact springs 43, therefore none of the movable contact 41 fixed contact 42 Do not touch. In this state, the movable terminal plate 51 is not electrically connected to any fixed contact plate 52. When the mark 31a of the handle 3 is aligned with the "automatic" or "continuous On", you press the corresponding spring portion 43b of one of the cam projections 6 a corresponding to the position of the handle 3 is contact spring 43 from below By elastically deforming, one movable contact 41 corresponding to the position of the handle 3 is brought into contact with the fixed contact 42. In this state, the movable terminal plate 51 is electrically connected to one fixed terminal plate 52 corresponding to the position of the handle 3. On the rear surface of the body 22, “C” is displayed in the vicinity of each wire insertion hole 2 c corresponding to the movable terminal plate 51, and in the vicinity of each wire insertion hole 2 c corresponding to the fixed side terminal plate 52. The fixed side terminal plate 52 to which the electric wire inserted from the electric wire insertion hole 2c is connected is electrically connected to the movable side terminal plate 51 when the mark 31a of the handle 3 is in any position. Is displayed.

The present embodiment is, for example, a luminaire that is connected to a heat ray sensor (not shown) that detects the presence of a human body by sensing heat rays radiated from the human body and can be turned on / off according to the output of the heat ray sensor. This is used to set the operation of a heavy load (not shown). More specifically, a load or a control device (not shown) for controlling the load is housed in any of the housing recesses 20 via an electric wire connected to the electric wire insertion hole 2c (that is, any switch) The terminal 3 is electrically connected to the terminal plates 51 and 52, and the position of the handle 3 is read based on the electrical connection between the terminal plates 51 and 52. When the handle 3 is set to “off”, the load is turned off regardless of the output of the heat ray sensor. When the handle 3 is set to “automatic”, control according to the output of the heat ray sensor is performed. The load is continuously turned on regardless of the output of the heat ray sensor.

According to the above-described configuration, a total of two rotary switches (switches) that can operate independently from each other are formed in the two storage recesses 20, each of which has one instrument mounting hole 90. Therefore, the area required for mounting can be reduced as compared with the case where only one circuit of the rotary switch is provided.

In addition, since all the terminal plates 51 and 52 are positioned on one side (upper side) common to the switch shaft with respect to the rotation axis of the handle 3 in each switch unit, for example, the rotation of each handle 3 is performed. Compared with the case where the shaft is arranged on the outer side in the vertical direction with respect to the terminal plates 51 and 52, the distance between the terminal plates 51 and 52 belonging to different switch portions is increased, and thus the distance between the wire insertion ports 2c is also increased. Become. Accordingly, when the electric wires are connected to the terminal plates 51 and 52 in each one of the switch portions, the electric wires connected to the terminal plates 51 and 52 of the other switch portion are not easily obstructed, so that the electric wires to the terminal plates 51 and 52 are prevented. Can be easily connected and the workability is improved.

(Embodiment 2)
The present embodiment is different from the first embodiment only in the arrangement of components, and is otherwise common to the first embodiment. Therefore, common parts are denoted by the same reference numerals, and illustration and description thereof are omitted.

In the first embodiment, the positional relationship between the components such as the terminal boards 51 and 52 is common to each switch unit, whereas in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. The arrangement of parts is upside down. As a result, the rotation axis of each handle 3 (that is, the rotation axis of each shaft 6) is located on the outer side in the longitudinal direction of the housing 2 with respect to the respective terminal portions 51 and 52 as viewed from the front. Accordingly, as in the first embodiment, a total of two rotary switches (switches) that can operate independently from each other are formed in one circuit, and each of them is formed as one mounting frame 9 having one instrument mounting hole 90. Therefore, the area required for mounting can be reduced as compared with the case where only one circuit of the rotary switch is provided.

Further, compared to the first embodiment, the distance between the wire insertion openings 2c between the switch portions is reduced as shown in FIG. 7B, but the distance between the handles 3 is increased as shown in FIG. 7A. Thus, when the one handle 3 is operated, the other handle is less likely to get in the way, so that the operability is improved.

(Embodiment 3)
Since the basic configuration of the present embodiment is the same as that of the first embodiment, common portions are denoted by the same reference numerals, and illustration and description thereof are omitted.

In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 8, the first shaft 61 that is rotatably held in the plane viewed from the front with respect to the housing 2 and is connected to the handle 3, and the front from the front with respect to the housing 2. And a second shaft 62 that is rotatably held in the viewed plane and whose rear end is located behind the rear end of the first shaft 61. The middle frame 23 is provided with a first bearing hole 23b in which the front end portion of the first shaft 61 is pivotally supported and a second bearing hole 23c in which the rear end portion of the second shaft 62 is pivotally supported. It has been. The terminal plates 51 and 52 are disposed on the rear side of the first shaft 61.

More specifically, the front end portion of the first shaft 61 has the same shape as the front end portion of the shaft 6 in the first embodiment, and is inserted into the connection recess 30 provided on the rear surface of the handle 3.

The rear end portion of the second shaft 62 has the same shape as that of the rear end portion of the shaft 6 in the first embodiment, and the second shaft 62 is rearward of the bearing recess 20 b provided on the inner bottom surface of the storage recess 20. By pivotally supporting the end portion, the housing 2 is held rotatably with respect to the housing 2 as viewed from the front.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 9A and 9C, the front end portion of the first shaft 61 and the rear end portion of the second shaft 62 are engaged with each other so that the second shaft 62 is engaged with the first shaft 62. Gears 61 a and 62 a that are interlocked with the shaft 61 are provided. The gear ratio between the gears 61a and 62a is, for example, 1: 1.

Further, similar to the cam projection 6a of the shaft 6 of the first embodiment, the second shaft 62 is a cam that presses and elastically deforms the spring portion 43b of the contact spring 43 as the second shaft 62 rotates. A protrusion (not shown) is provided. That is, the movable contact 41 operates by receiving a force from the handle 3 via the first shaft 61, the gears 61 a and 62 a, the second shaft 62, and the contact spring 43.

Here, in each switch unit, the first shaft 61 and the second shaft 62 are arranged vertically when viewed from the front, and in the upper switch unit, the first shaft 61 is connected to the second shaft 62. The first shaft 61 is located on the lower side of the second shaft 62 in the lower switch part. That is, the first shaft 61 and the rotation shaft of the handle 3 are located outside the longitudinal direction (vertical direction) of the housing 2 when viewed from the front.

According to the above configuration, as in the first and second embodiments, a total of two rotary switches (switch units) that can be operated independently from each other are formed, and each of them has one instrument mounting hole 90. Since the mounting frame 9 can be used, the area required for mounting can be reduced as compared with the case where only one circuit of the rotary switch is provided.

Further, since the terminal plates 51 and 52 are respectively arranged on the rear side of the handle 3, the distance between the handles 3 is increased to improve the operability as compared with the first embodiment, but the terminal plates are arranged between the switch portions. As shown in FIG. 9B, the distance between the wire insertion holes 2b is increased between the switch portions to facilitate the connection of the wires to the terminal plates 51 and 52 as shown in FIG. 9B. It is possible to improve.
