Description

The present invention relates to a palletizing apparatus used for the operation of placing a bound print book or bookbinding book on a pallet and a palletizing method used therefor.

In general, a printed material on which characters and patterns are applied by a printing machine is folded in advance into a predetermined size by a folding device in order to bind the book. For example, in a rotary printing machine, there are a printer that folds and cuts a sheet that comes out of a printing unit inline, and a printer that folds a sheet-like printed matter offline. Such a folded book for bookbinding is called a signature, and has a form having a back S portion and a bag F portion as shown in FIG. Usually, 16-page folding or 32-page folding is the standard, but pages 4 and 8 may be folded once.

The folded booklet is transported to the bookbinding machine, and is bound by the stacker bundler in a set number of copies. Normally, this bundle is stacked on the pallet with the booklet placed horizontally. It is transported in a stacked state. That is, if the printing books are stacked on the pallet in a horizontally stacked state, the printing books are deformed due to their own weight. However, the individual signatures are aligned with the back side down on the stacker, and stringing is performed every predetermined number of copies. It becomes a biased shape because the part is bulky. Therefore, if such bundles are stacked on the pallet in a vertical orientation in a certain direction, or stacked appropriately, they will fall down. In particular, this tendency is strong in a binding object in which small signatures such as B6 size and A5 size are tied.

Therefore, on the site, workers are trying to stack the bundles one by one on the pallet one by one, thinking that the back side of the signature and the bag side are outside. Alternatively, in the latest printing factories, in order to automate the entire transport line that transports the bundles of the bookbinding book, the bundles once stacked in a horizontal stacking posture on the pallet by a palletizing robot or the like are stacked vertically during the transport. A device using a transfer device that converts to a posture is known.
JP 7-291449 A

As mentioned above, the bundle of signatures has a biased and unstable shape, so when transporting it to the bookbinding process, it is manually stacked on the pallet one by one so as not to collapse. . For this reason, the printing factory always has a problem that the work of stacking the bundles on the pallet is heavy on the operator. In addition, there is a problem that the robot for palletizing cannot be used because it is necessary to stack while looking at the direction of the individual bundles so as not to collapse. In addition, in the latest automated printing factory, it is possible to build a line that introduces a transfer device that transfers from a horizontal stacking posture to a vertical stacking posture, but such a transfer device is introduced in an existing printing factory. This is difficult to realize because the handling of the pallet becomes large, and in such a transfer device, the signature is always bent or its end is caught because it is temporarily placed in a horizontal stack at first. It is unavoidable to deform.

On the other hand, when a book that has been bound is transported to a secondary store etc., it is also carried on a pallet as a bundle, as in the case of a printed book. For finished books with binding, some parts of the appendix etc. are bulky and biased, so stacking such bundles on the pallet is also the same as the bundle of signatures described above. The same can be said.

The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and the object of the present invention is to simplify the stacking work on the pallet of unbalanced and unstable shapes and to palletize. It is to provide a palletizing apparatus that can be used by a robot, and to provide a palletizing method using the palletizing apparatus.

The palletizing method according to the present invention includes a support in which a bottom plate portion on which a pallet is placed and two side plate portions erected from two adjacent sides thereof are combined, and winding of a wrap film at one end of the side plate portion of the support body. A roll support that supports the roll in the vertical direction; and a film holder that can hold the end of the wrap film of the wound roll supported by the roll support. The roll support is provided around the bottom plate portion of the support. It is possible to move the wrap film from the winding roll by moving it while holding the end of the wrap film on the film holder, and the support lays the side plate portion outside. Can be tilted in at least one direction, tilted with the pallet placed on the bottom plate, and fed out the wrap film along the two side plates In this state, the bundles are stacked on the pallet in a vertical stacking posture so as to lean against the side plate, and the stacked bundles can be wrapped with a wrap film once. In addition, each side plate portion can be separated from the bottom plate portion, and the roll support is moved along the periphery of the bottom plate portion so that the wrap film is unwound and the bundled product in a stacked state is wrapped twice or more. A palletizing method using a palletizing device that is capable of being tilted in at least one direction with the pallet placed on the bottom plate portion of the support, and the end of the wrap film is placed on the film holder. The wrap film is removed from the wound roll by moving the roll support along two sides of the two side plate portions in the bottom plate portion while holding the portion. After the half of the plate part has been drawn out, the bundles are stacked in a vertical stacking posture on the pallet so as to lean on the side plate part, and then the roll support is placed on the two sides of the bottom plate part without the side plate part. The wrapping film is further fed out by a half turn by moving the wrapping film to make the stacked bundle into a single-wrapping state, and then the inclined support is returned to the original position and the side plate is separated from the bottom plate to hold the film. After cutting the tool and wrap film, the roll holder is moved along the periphery of the bottom plate part, and the wrap film is further fed out. After the stacked bundle is wound more than twice, the pallet is packed with the package. It is characterized by carrying out.

According to the present invention, the box-shaped support on which the pallet is placed is inclined in at least one direction, and the bundles may be sequentially stacked in a vertically stacked state on the pallet so as to lean on the side plate portion. Even if the direction of the individual bundles is not considered, they can be stacked without collapsing, and the stacked bundles become stable by wrapping the whole with wrap film. Palletizing work of shaped bundles can be performed easily. And since it will not collapse even if it does not pile up in consideration of the direction of each united thing, it becomes possible to use a palletizing robot instead of manpower.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail.

Figure 2 is a schematic configuration diagram of a palletizing device Ru used in the present invention. As shown in the figure, this palletizing apparatus includes a box-shaped support body in which a bottom plate portion 1 on which a pallet is placed and two side plate portions 2 and 3 erected from two adjacent sides thereof are combined, and the support body. A roll support 5 that supports the winding roll R of the wrap film 4 in the longitudinal direction at one end of the side plate 2 in the film, and a film that can hold the end of the wrap film 4 of the winding roll R supported by the roll support 5. A holding tool 6 is provided.

And the roll support 5 is movable along the periphery of the baseplate part 1 in a support body. Further, the support body can be tilted in two directions for laying the side plate portions 2 and 3 outward, and each side plate portion 2 and 3 can be separated from the bottom plate portion 1 (see FIG. 7). In addition, two roller rows 1 a are incorporated in the bottom plate portion 1, and a discharge roller conveyor 7 is installed adjacent to the bottom plate portion 1 so as to follow the roller row 1 a. In addition, about the roll support tool 5 of the wrap film 4, the film holder 6, those drive mechanisms, etc., the thing similar to a well-known lapping apparatus is used.

Next, a palletizing method using the palletizing apparatus shown in FIG. 2 will be described with reference to FIGS.

First, as shown in FIG. 3, the support body is inclined in at least one direction in a state where the pallet P is placed on the bottom plate portion 1 of the support body, and before and after that, the wrap film 4 is attached to the film holder 6. The wrap film 4 is fed out from the winding roll R by a half circumference of the bottom plate portion 1 by moving the roll support 5 along the two sides of the side plate portions 2 and 3 in the bottom plate portion 1 while holding the end portion. State. The direction and angle for inclining the support may be set as appropriate in consideration of the stability of the bundle and the efficiency of work. Usually, it is preferable to incline in two directions (for example, using point A in the figure as a fulcrum), and the inclination angle is preferably about 5 to 20 degrees in the direction of each of the side plates 2 and 3.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4, the bundle T is stacked on the pallet P in a vertically stacked posture. In the stacking process of the bundle T on the pallet P, the stacks are sequentially stacked so as to lean against the side plate portions 2 and 3, but may be performed manually by an operator or using a commercially available palletizing robot. You may go.

Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 5, the roll support 5 is moved along the two sides of the bottom plate portion 1 that do not have the side plate portions 2 and 3, so that the wrap film 4 is further unrolled by a half turn so that the bundle in a stacked state is obtained. After the single-wrapping state, as shown in FIG. 6, the inclined support is returned to its original state. And when the wrapping film 4 to be used is thick, etc., when the wrapping with the wrapping film 4 is sufficient for one wrapping, the wrapping film 4 is cut off from the film holder 6 so as to hold the film end. Then, the wrap film 4 is cut, and the pallet P is slid out of the roller conveyor 7 while being pushed out of the bottom plate 1 together with the package.

When the wrapping film 4 is thin and the wrapping with the wrapping film 4 is not sufficient for one wrapping, the wrapping film 4 is wrapped more than twice as follows. That is, as shown in FIG. 7, the tilted support body is returned to the original position, the side plate portions 2 and 3 are separated from the bottom plate portion 1, the film holder 6 and the wrap film 4 are trimmed, and then the roll support 5 is further moved. The wrap film 4 is unwound by moving it along the periphery of the bottom plate portion 1, and the wrap film 4 is cut from the roll support 5 after the bundle T in a stacked state is brought into a wrapped state of two or more turns. Then, as shown in FIG. 8, the pallet P is slid out of the roller conveyor 7 while being pushed out from the bottom plate 1 together with the package. Simultaneously with or before and after unloading of the package, the film holder 6 adds the tip of the wrap film 4 again and returns to the basic state.

Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention. That is.

For example, in the above example, the support body can be tilted in two directions in which the side plate portions 2 and 3 are laid on the outside, but may be tiltable in any one direction. However, it is preferable to incline in two directions because they are stacked so as to lean against both side plates.

The present invention can be applied not only to a signature obtained by folding a printed book but also to transporting a finished book with an appendix or a binding of different sizes.
