Description
図2は、図1に示されているマップを使用して排気圧を求めるプロセスと、それに続く補正とを図解した図表であり、周囲圧力の考慮はこの補正により可能になる。
図3は、補間によって求められた圧力値の補正に使用される補正係数の算出を図解した図式的表現である。
図4は、測定された排気圧と本発明にしたがって得られた排気圧を比較したグラフである。
任意のタイプのエンジンを使用している間、排気圧Pcは、実際のエンジン吸気流量Arと、実際のエンジン速度Rrと、実際のウェイストゲート制御値Trとに応じて、このタイプのエンジン向けに作成された基準マップからの補間により求められる。有利には、使用される補間は線形補間である。
Claims (6)
- ウェイストゲートを備えたターボチャージエンジンの排気圧(Pr)を求める方法において、実際のエンジン吸気流量(Ar)と実際のエンジン速度(Rr)と実際のウェイストゲート開度(Tr)に応じて、所定の値の吸気流量(Ac)とエンジン速度(Pc)とウェイストゲート開度(Tc)とに対する排気圧値(Pc)から構成された基準マップからの補間により排気圧(Pi)を求め、補間により求めた前記排気圧(Pi)を、下記の式にしたがって、排気圧測定時の周囲圧力(Pa)とマップ作成時の周囲圧力(Po)とに応じて補正し、
- 使用される補間が線形補間である、請求項1記載の方法。
- ウェイストゲート開度(Tc)をセンサにより測定したウェイストゲートの実際の位置によって表す、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- ウェイストゲート開度(Tc)をウェイストゲート制御のデューティサイクルのパーセンテージによって表す、請求項1から3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記ウェイストゲート制御は前記ウェイストゲートのドリフトと経年劣化を考慮して適応補正により前記デューティサイクルのパーセンテージを低くして適用される、請求項4記載の方法。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載されているように排気圧を求めることを特徴とする、ターボチャージエンジンを排気圧に応じて制御する方法。
