Description

The present invention relates to a pedestrian protection device for a vehicle, and in particular, the pedestrian protection device for a pedestrian installed in a lower part of the front surface of the vehicle and contacting or contacting the pedestrian's leg that has collided with or contacted the front of the vehicle. The present invention relates to an improved structure of a vehicle pedestrian protection device for protection.

Conventionally, in vehicles such as automobiles, various protection devices have been installed on the front, rear, or side surfaces of the vehicle mainly for the purpose of absorbing impact energy generated in the event of a collision and protecting the vehicle body and passengers. ing. In recent years, a device for protecting a pedestrian when a pedestrian collides (contacts) with the front of the vehicle has also been installed on the front of the vehicle.

As a kind of such pedestrian protection device, a reaction force against an impact load input when a pedestrian collides with the front of the vehicle is installed inside the front bumper or under the front bumper and below the front bumper. By acting on the leg of the pedestrian, the leg is paid out (scooped up), and the pedestrian falls to the vehicle side, thereby causing the occurrence of injury such as a fracture to the pedestrian's leg. So-called leg wipers are known which are constructed so as to prevent this and thus protect and protect the safety of pedestrians.

For example, in a leg wiping device that is a kind of such a pedestrian protection device, a resin foam that extends in the vehicle width direction in a state where at least a part of the pedestrian protection device is projected from the front surface of the vehicle, A vehicle having a structure in which a beam member extending in the vehicle width direction is installed in a state of being in contact with the back surface of the resin foam (see, for example, Patent Document 1 below), a metal pipe, and the like. There are those having a structure fixed in a state of extending in the vehicle width direction at the lower part of the front surface (for example, see Patent Document 2 below), etc., but all have drawbacks to be improved. That is, in the former pedestrian protection device comprising a resin foam and a beam member, the number of parts is large, and therefore the parts cost is high and the installation is troublesome. In addition, the latter pedestrian protection device made of metal pipes is inevitably heavy, and it has not been easy to form into a shape suitable for the front of the vehicle.

Under such circumstances, a plate portion made of synthetic resin that is positioned so as to extend in the front-rear direction of the vehicle and that is fixed to the vehicle at the rear portion with at least the front end portion of the front portion protruding from the front surface of the vehicle. And a pedestrian protection device for contacting the leg portion of the pedestrian that has collided with the front surface of the vehicle at the front end portion of the front portion of the plate portion from the front surface of the vehicle and paying off the leg portion. This structure has also been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 3 below). According to such a structure, not only the number of parts is reduced as much as possible, but also the plate part whose front end part is projected from the front surface of the vehicle is made of a synthetic resin product having excellent moldability. Accordingly, it is possible to advantageously protect the pedestrian leg portion while advantageously eliminating the disadvantages of the device composed of the resin foam and the beam member and the device composed of the metal pipe.

However, in such a pedestrian protection device as described above, the front end portion of the front portion of the plate portion protrudes from the front of the vehicle, usually in a state where the rear portion of the plate portion is fixed to the radiator supporter, the front cross member, or the like. The length of the plate portion in the front-rear direction is relatively long from the point where it can be squeezed, but if this plate portion is too long, in such a long plate portion The rigidity (deformation strength) with respect to the impact load input along with the collision of the pedestrian's leg with the front surface of the vehicle may be insufficient. If the bending rigidity of the plate is insufficient, the front part of the plate part is easily bent and deformed at the time of input of the impact load, and the initial rise of the impact load in the load characteristics (the sudden increase of the load in the load-displacement curve). Do rise) now timing is delayed, whereby a sufficient reaction force against the impact load becomes impossible to exert instantaneously, it is possible to pay the lower part of the leg portion of the pedestrian immediately It will disappear.

Among the protective devices for pedestrians having a plate portion made of synthetic resin, among the devices installed on the inside of the front bumper, the plate portion is the front surface of the front end portion, and the bumper cover of a general front bumper is There is a curved surface that protrudes forward corresponding to a vertical longitudinal section (a section when cut in the vertical direction along a cutting line extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction) (for example, the following patents) In such a pedestrian protection device, the problem of the delay in rising of the impact load in the load characteristics as described above has become more prominent.

That is, in such a conventional pedestrian protection device, the impact load applied to the rear of the vehicle when the pedestrian's legs collide with the front bumper is applied to the convex curved surface of the front end portion of the plate portion. Since it is input to the front surface having a shape, when such an impact load is input, an acting force that lifts the plate portion upward is generated on the front end portion of the plate portion. As a result, the front end portion of the plate portion is deformed so as to be raised, and as a result, a delay in rising of the impact load in the load characteristics is inevitably caused.

Here, the present invention has been made in the background as described above, and the problem to be solved is to quickly start up the impact load in the load characteristics and provide a sufficient reaction force against the impact load. An improved structure of a pedestrian protection device for a vehicle that can be instantly exhibited, thereby enabling the pedestrian's leg colliding with the front of the vehicle to be instantly and surely protected and sufficiently protected. It is to provide.

In the present invention, in order to solve such a problem, the gist of the present invention is that the front side of the vehicle is positioned in the lower part of the front surface of the vehicle so as to extend in the front-rear direction of the vehicle with a predetermined width. In a state where at least the front end portion of the part protrudes from the front surface of the vehicle, the rear part has a synthetic resin plate part fixed to the vehicle, and at the front end part of the front part of the plate part, A vehicle pedestrian protection device configured to pay and protect the pedestrian's leg collided with the front surface to protect the pedestrian, wherein the plate portion is (a) in the plate portion in the front end of the front portion, the front vertical extension plate portion which is brought position to extend in the vertical direction over the entire width of the plate portion, (b) a predetermined rearward of the front-side vertical extending plate portion a distance More in spaced positions, while facing at a predetermined distance from each other in the front-side vertical extending plate portion opposed to and the vehicle longitudinal direction, which is allowed position so as to extend in the vertical direction over the entire width of the plate portion A rear vertical extension plate portion; and (c) a front end of the plurality of rear vertical extension plate portions and an end portion in the corresponding height direction of the front vertical extension plate portion. Extending horizontally across the entire width of the plate portion and between the plurality of rear vertical extending plate portions of the plurality of rear vertical extending plate portions in the vehicle longitudinal direction. Adjacent ones are positioned so as to be stepped up and down, and the front vertical extension plate part and the rear vertical extension plate part or the rear vertical extension plate parts are integrally connected to each other. and a extension plate portion, and the front vertical extension plate And the rear vertical extending plate portion positioned immediately behind the two are connected to each other at one of the horizontal extending plate portions at the corresponding lower end portion, thereby opening an upper U-shape. A front U-shaped portion extending over the entire width of the plate portion is formed with a cross-section, and the rear U-shaped portion is sequentially directed toward the rear side of the vehicle following the front U-shaped portion. The rear U-shaped portion located immediately after the front U-shaped portion is configured to be opened downward, and the front end portion side of the front portion in the plate portion is configured to be formed . with zigzag shape which opens alternately up and down in combination U-shaped cross section, it is that it is configured to pedestrian protection apparatus according to claim.

The “horizontal extending” state referred to in this specification is not strictly limited to a state extending straight in the horizontal direction, and may include a state extending at a slight angle with respect to the horizontal direction. included. Further, the state of “extending in the vertical direction” is not strictly limited to the state of extending straight in the vertical direction, and includes a state of extending at an angle with respect to the vertical direction. Hereinafter, they are used in the same meaning.

That is, in the vehicle pedestrian protection device according to the present invention, the U-shaped portion provided on the front end portion side of the front portion of the plate portion functions as a bead that reinforces the front portion of the plate portion, Even if the total length of the plate part is somewhat long, the bending strength of the front side part, especially the rigidity (deformation strength) against the impact load input with the collision of the pedestrian's leg to the front of the vehicle is sufficiently secured, When the impact load is input, the front portion of the plate portion can be advantageously prevented from being bent and deformed easily.

Further, in such a pedestrian protection device, when the leg part of the pedestrian collides with the front surface of the vehicle and contacts the front end part of the front part of the plate part, the front vertical extension plate part is The horizontal extension is displaced rearward while being deformed to incline at a predetermined angle, and the rear vertical extension plate is also inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the vertical direction. Due to the deformation, the impact load is gradually transmitted from the front portion of the plate portion toward the rear portion. At this time, since the front and rear vertical extending plate portions are formed to extend in the vertical direction over the entire width of the plate portion, the front and rear vertical extending plate portions are arranged in the width direction of the plate portion. It is deformed over a wide range (in the vehicle width direction), whereby the impact load is effectively transmitted also in the width direction of the plate portion. As a result, the impact load is advantageously distributed in the front portion of the plate portion, and this also advantageously prevents easy bending deformation of the front portion of the plate portion when the impact load is input.

Moreover, in the device of the present invention, the impact load generated with the collision of the leg part of the pedestrian is input at a substantially right angle with respect to the front vertical extension plate part located at the front end part of the plate part. When an impact load is input, there is no action force that lifts the front end of the plate part upward, and therefore, deformation that causes the front end of the plate part to be lifted. Can also be effectively prevented.

Thus, in the vehicle pedestrian protection device according to the present invention, the front portion of the plate portion due to the impact load is easily caused by insufficient rigidity with respect to the impact load, stress concentration of the impact load, and the shape of the front end portion of the plate portion. As a result, the occurrence of a delay in the rise of the impact load in the load characteristics, which is caused by the bending deformation of the front portion of the plate portion, can be prevented in advance. Can be done.

Therefore, in the vehicle pedestrian protection apparatus according to the present invention as described above, it is possible to quickly start up the impact load in the load characteristics, and thereby, it is possible to instantly exhibit a sufficient reaction force against the impact load. It becomes. As a result, the leg portion of the pedestrian that collided with the front surface of the vehicle can be immediately and reliably paid to be sufficiently protected at an even higher level.

Moreover, in the vehicle pedestrian protection apparatus according to the present invention, since the impact load in the load characteristic can be quickly launched, the impact load can reach the target value more quickly. Therefore, there is also an advantage that the amount of shock absorbing stroke due to buckling deformation of the horizontally extending plate portion or the like after the impact load in the load characteristic reaches the target value can be effectively ensured in a sufficient amount.

In the vehicular pedestrian protection apparatus configured to protect, the plate portion (a) extends in the vertical direction over the entire width of the plate portion at the front end portion of the front portion of the plate portion. A front vertical extension plate portion positioned; and (b) at a position spaced a predetermined distance behind the front vertical extension plate portion, facing the front vertical extension plate portion and in the front-rear direction. A plurality of rear vertical extending plate portions positioned so as to extend in the vertical direction over the entire width of the plate portion in a state of being opposed to each other at a predetermined distance; and (c) the plurality of rear vertical portions. Correspondence between the front end of the extension plate portions and the corresponding end portions in the height direction of the front vertical extension plate portion and the plurality of rear vertical extension plate portions. Between the end portions in the height direction that extend horizontally across the entire width of the plate portion and are positioned so that the adjacent ones in the front-rear direction are stepped, and these front vertical extensions A plurality of horizontal extending plate portions integrally connecting the plate portion and the rear vertical extending plate portion or the rear vertical extending plate portions; and (d) of the plurality of rear vertical extending plate portions. Although it is positioned at the rearmost side, it should be positioned so as to extend in the front-rear direction on the rear side The connecting portion with the horizontal extending plate portion on the front surface of the rear vertical extending plate portion located at the rearmost side is a height formed from a rear end portion portion of the front portion of the plate portion. And a connecting plate portion that integrally connects the rear surface portion having a different position and the rear portion of the plate portion, and the front end portion side of the front portion of the plate portion has a U-shaped longitudinal section. A pedestrian protection device for a vehicle, characterized in that the vehicle pedestrian protection device is extended in a zigzag form.

In such a mode, the front end portion of the front portion of the plate portion has a U-shaped longitudinal section (vertical longitudinal section), and a U-shaped portion that functions as a bead is continuously formed in the front-rear direction. Therefore, the rigidity against the impact load can be further advantageously increased in the front portion of the plate portion. In addition to the front vertical extension plate portion where the impact load is input in a substantially right angle direction, the horizontal extension plate portion which is displaced rearward by the input of the impact load is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the vertical direction. Since a plurality of rear vertical extending plate portions that are deformed to each other are provided, the impact load can be more effectively transmitted and effectively dispersed in the width direction of the plate portion. .

Therefore, according to this aspect as described above, it is possible to more quickly start up the impact load in the load characteristics, and a sufficient reaction force against the impact load can be exhibited at an earlier timing. As a result, the pedestrian's leg that collided with the front of the vehicle can be more quickly and reliably removed, and the protection performance of the pedestrian's leg can be further enhanced.

Even in this mode, since the impact load in the load characteristic can be quickly launched, the impact load can reach the target value more quickly, and as a result, the impact load in the load characteristic becomes the target value. There is also an advantage that the amount of shock absorbing stroke due to buckling deformation of the horizontally extending plate portion after reaching the point can be effectively secured in a more sufficient amount.

<3> In the above aspect <1> or aspect <2>, the front vertical extending plate portion is bent at substantially right angles at a plurality of positions in the height direction intermediate portion, and has a stepped shape in the vertical direction. It is configured to extend to

In this aspect, the plate-like portion extending in the horizontal direction is finely divided and provided in a stepped portion located at the front end portion of the front portion of the plate portion, so that a plurality of the plate-like portions are provided. The moment arm at is advantageously shortened. Thereby, the rotational force generated in the front portion of the plate portion at the time of impact input is effectively weakened, and thus easy bending deformation of the front portion of the plate portion can be further advantageously prevented. As a result, the rising of the impact load in the load characteristics can be further accelerated.

Moreover, in this aspect, the plurality of plate-like portions provided in the front end portion of the plate portion extending in the horizontal direction are positioned in a stepwise manner in the front-rear direction. For example, the vertical longitudinal section has a convex curve. Even when the front end of the front portion of the plate portion is placed inside the front bumper having a shape facing the inner surface of the front bumper made of a convex curved surface, the inner surface of the front bumper A gap formed between the front surface of the front end portion of the plate portion can be made as small as possible. Therefore, when the pedestrian's leg is collided with the front bumper, the rise of the impact load in the load characteristics is delayed due to the existence of a gap between the inner surface of the front bumper and the tip of the plate portion. Can be effectively eliminated or suppressed.

Therefore, according to this aspect as described above, a sufficient reaction force against the impact load can be exerted more instantly, and the pedestrian's leg colliding with the front of the vehicle can be immediately and reliably removed. Thus, the protection performance of the pedestrian leg can be further advantageously improved.

<4> In any one of the above aspects <1> to <3>, a reinforcing portion that increases the strength of the front portion is provided with respect to the front portion of the plate portion. Easy deformation of the front portion due to an impact load input in association with a collision of a pedestrian's leg with the front surface can be prevented. According to this aspect, the easy bending deformation of the front portion of the plate portion due to the impact load due to the lack of rigidity with respect to the impact load can be more effectively eliminated or suppressed. And as a result, the quick start-up of the impact load in the load characteristics and the improvement of the protection performance of the pedestrian legs can be realized more effectively.

<5> In the above aspect <4>, the reinforcing portion extends in the front-rear direction in a state where the reinforcing portion is integrated with the rear surfaces of the front vertical extending plate portion and the rear vertical extending plate portion. It is made up of reinforcing ribs that are erected and integrally provided with respect to the front portion of the plate portion. According to this aspect, the reinforcing portion that exhibits the above-described excellent features can be easily formed by, for example, general mold molding, and thus is relatively simple without causing an increase in the number of parts. Moreover, it can be advantageously realized in an inexpensive structure. Further, by adjusting the arrangement structure (for example, the number and arrangement position) of the reinforcing ribs with respect to the front portion of the plate portion, the rigidity of the front portion of the plate portion can be changed as appropriate, Easily tune the amount of buckling deformation of the front part of the plate part due to the input of impact load, and the amount of shock energy absorbed based on the buckling deformation of the front part according to the magnitude of the input impact load. It becomes possible.

Hereinafter, in order to clarify the present invention more specifically, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

First, in FIG.1 and FIG.2, the leg-fixing apparatus attached to the inner side of the front bumper installed in the front surface of the motor vehicle as one embodiment of the pedestrian protection apparatus according to the present invention has an upper surface form and a longitudinal section form. Are respectively schematically shown. As is clear from these drawings, the leg cleaning device 10 of the present embodiment has a substrate 12 as a plate portion.

The board 12 is made of, for example, a synthetic resin material such as polypropylene or ABS resin, and extends in the vehicle width direction, that is, the left-right direction of the automobile in the vertical direction in FIG. The dimension in the left-right direction (hereinafter referred to as the left-right direction) is shorter than the vehicle width by a predetermined dimension, and the dimension in the left-right direction in FIG. As a whole, it is made of a thin flat plate having a substantially horizontally long rectangular shape that is sufficiently shorter than the dimension in the left-right direction.

Further, in such a substrate 12, a portion occupying approximately half of the front side is a front portion 14, while the remaining substantially half of the rear side is a rear portion 16. In the rear end portion of the rear portion 16 of the substrate 12, there are insertion holes 18 that penetrate through the substrate 12 in the plate thickness direction and through which predetermined fixing bolts or the like can be inserted at predetermined intervals in the left-right direction. A plurality (five here) are provided.

Thus, in the leg cleaning device 10 according to the present embodiment, the front side portion 14 of the substrate 12 has a special structure that is not found in the conventional device.

That is, here, three vertical extending plate portions 22, 24, 26 extending straight in the vertical direction over the entire width of the front end portion portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 are constant in the front-rear direction. They are opposed to each other at a distance. Further, a horizontal extension plate portion that extends straight in the horizontal direction across the entire width of the substrate 12 in the front-rear direction between the three vertical extension plate portions 22, 24, 26 facing each other. 28 and 30 are positioned one by one.

More specifically, the three vertical extension plate portions 22, 24, and 26 are a front vertical extension plate portion 22 positioned at the front end portion of the front side portion 14 of the substrate 12, and a front side vertical extension immediately behind the front side vertical extension plate portion 22. The first rear vertical extension plate portion 24 facing the plate portion 22 and the further rear side of the first rear vertical extension plate portion 24 and the substantially central portion of the length in the front-rear direction of the front portion 14, The second rear vertical extending plate portion 26 is located opposite to the first rear vertical extending plate portion 24. Further, the front side, the first rear side, and the second rear side vertical extending plate portions 22, 24, and 26 all have the same width as the width of the substrate 12 and the same height (vertical length). ) And a thin flat plate that is bent so as to be convex forward in the thickness direction.

As a result, the front end surface of the substrate 12, that is, as will be described later, the load input surface 31 into which an impact load caused by the collision of the pedestrian leg with the front surface of the automobile is input is the front vertical extending plate portion 22. The front surface 32 is configured. And the load input surface 31 which consists of such a front surface 32 makes a right-and-left perpendicular | vertical surface from the center part of the left-right direction right-and-left with respect to the horizontal surface containing the input direction of the impact load which arises with the collision of a pedestrian leg part. The curved surface is bent so as to bend gradually toward the rear toward both ends. That is, the load input surface 31 is formed of a curved surface that is convex toward the front and is formed by a locus that moves the vertical line so as to draw an arc.

On the other hand, the horizontal extension plate portions 28 and 30 include a front horizontal extension plate portion 28 positioned between the lower ends of the front vertical extension plate portion 22 and the first rear vertical extension plate portion 24, and a first The rear vertical extending plate portion 24 and the rear horizontal extending plate portion 30 are located between the upper ends of the second rear vertical extending plate portion 26. Further, the front and rear horizontal extending plate portions 28 and 30 both have the same length (size in the left-right direction) as the width of the substrate 12 and the vertically extending plate portions 22, 24, and 26 that face each other. Corresponding to the front and rear surfaces of each of the vertically extending plate portions 22, 24, 26 having the same distance and the same width (dimension in the front-rear direction) and convex forward in the width direction It is comprised with the thin flat plate which exhibits a curved form.

The lower ends of the front vertical extending plate portion 22 and the first rear vertical extending plate portion 24 are integrally connected to each other at the front horizontal extending plate portion 28, while the first rear vertical extending portion is connected. The upper end portions of the output plate portion 24 and the second rear vertical extension plate portion 26 are integrally connected to each other at the rear horizontal extension plate portion 30. In addition, the second rear vertical extending plate portion 26 is connected to the rear portion 16 of the substrate 12 by a connecting plate portion 35 formed of the rear end portion 34 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 at the lower end thereof. They are connected together.

As a result, the front vertical extension plate part 22, the first rear vertical extension plate part 24, and the second rear vertical extension plate part 26 are positioned so as to be stepped up and down in the front-rear direction in the mutually opposing ones. Standing integrally with the front side portion 14 of the substrate 12 in a state of being integrally connected by any one of the front horizontal extending plate portion 28 and the rear horizontal extending plate portion 30 that are fastened. .

In other words, in the leg cleaning device 10 of the present embodiment, the front end side portion 20 of the front side portion 14 of the substrate 12 is bent at right angles at five points separated by a certain distance in the front-rear direction. ing. Each of the bent portions is a first bent portion 36, a second bent portion 38, a third bent portion 40, a fourth bent portion 42, and a fifth bent portion 44 in order from the front side.

Of the front end portion 20, the portion between the fifth bent portion 44 provided on the rearmost side of the front end portion 20 and the fourth bent portion 42 provided on the front side thereof is the front portion 14 of the substrate 12. The second rear vertical extending plate portion 26 extends straight upward from the front end of the connecting plate portion 35 which is the rear end portion 34 of the rear end portion. Further, a portion between the fourth bent portion 42 and the third bent portion 40 provided on the front side thereof extends rearward horizontally extending straight forward from the upper end of the second rear vertical extending plate portion 26. The plate portion 30 is used. Further, a portion between the third bent portion 40 and the second bent portion 38 provided on the front side thereof extends straight from the front end of the rear horizontal extending plate portion 30 vertically downward to the first rear vertical extension. The plate portion 24 is used. Furthermore, the portion between the second bent portion 38 and the first bent portion 36 provided on the front side thereof extends from the lower end of the first rear vertical extending plate portion 24 straight forward in the horizontal direction. The plate portion 28 is used. Further, the entire portion on the front side of the first bent portion 36 is a front vertical extending plate portion 22 that extends straight upward from the front end of the front horizontal extending plate portion 28.

Thus, the front end portion portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 includes the front vertical extending plate portion 22, the front horizontal extending plate portion 28, the first rear vertical extending plate portion 24, and the rear horizontal extending plate portion. 30 and the second rear vertical extending plate portion 26, which has a U-shaped longitudinal section and is zigzag in the vertical direction, and is extended in the front-rear direction.

Then, in the front portion of the front end portion portion 20 of the substrate 12, the front horizontal extending plate portion 28 and the front end edge portion and the rear end edge portion face each other vertically upward. A U-shaped vertical portion 46 formed of a front vertical extending plate portion 22 and a first rear vertical extending plate portion 26, which are integrally formed so as to extend straight, is open upward. It has a longitudinal section and is provided so as to extend the entire width of the substrate 12. In addition, on the rear side of the front end portion 20, the rear horizontal extending plate portion 30 and the front end edge and the rear end edge of the front end portion 20 extend straightly downward in a state of facing each other. The rear U-shaped portion 48 formed of the first rear vertical extending plate portion 24 and the second rear vertical extending plate portion 26 integrally formed as described above has a U-shape that opens downward. It has a vertical longitudinal section and is provided to extend the entire width of the substrate 12. That is, the front U-shaped portion 46 and the rear U-shaped portion 48 are integrally provided on the front end portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 in a state where the front U-shaped portion 46 and the rear U-shaped portion 48 are continuously positioned in the front-rear direction. -ing

Therefore, in the leg cleaning device 10 of the present embodiment, the front U-shaped portion 46 and the rear U-shaped portion 48 provided in the front end portion side portion 20 of the front side portion 14 of the substrate 12 are the front portion. 14 (front end side portion 20) is made to function as a bead that reinforces the bending strength of the front side portion 14, and as will be described later, as the pedestrian's leg collides with the front of the automobile. Thus, the rigidity with respect to the input impact load can be sufficiently secured.

In addition, the front side portion 14 of such a substrate 12 includes a front side in which three types of first, second, and third types of reinforcing ribs 50, 52, 54 as reinforcing portions are provided on the front end side portion 20. The upper surface of the horizontal extension plate 28, the lower surface of the rear horizontal extension plate 30, and the upper surface of the connecting plate 35 made up of the rear end portion 34 are integrally provided. .

That is, each of the plurality of first reinforcing ribs 50 has the same height as the front vertical extending plate portion 22 and the first and second rear vertical extending plate portions 24 and 26, and a thinner wall than those. It consists of a flat plate having a thickness. The front vertical extending plate portion 22 and the first rear vertical extending plate portion 24 are opposed to each other with a certain distance in the left-right direction and are positioned in parallel. Further, under such an arrangement state, it is continuously extended straight in the front-rear direction, and with respect to the rear surface of the front vertical extension plate portion 22 and the front surface of the first rear vertical extension plate portion 24. It is integrated.

Each of the plurality of second reinforcing ribs 52 is a flat plate having the same height, thickness, and length as the first reinforcing rib 50, and the total number thereof is also the same as that of the first reinforcing rib 50. . And between the 1st backside vertical extension board part 24 and the 2nd backside vertical extension board part 26, the same distance as the distance between the mutually adjacent 1st reinforcement ribs 50 is separated in the left-right direction. Thus, they are opposed to each other and are positioned in parallel. Further, under such an arrangement state, the first rear vertical extension plate portion 24 and the second rear vertical extension plate portion 26 are extended straight and continuously in the front-rear direction. Integrated. Further, each of the plurality of second reinforcing ribs 52 has the same position in the left-right direction as that of each of the plurality of first reinforcing ribs 50.

Each of the plurality of third reinforcing ribs 54 has the same height and thickness as the first reinforcing rib 50 and the second reinforcing rib 52, but is more than the first and second reinforcing ribs 50, 52. It consists of a flat plate having a long length, and the total number thereof is approximately half the total number of the first reinforcing ribs 50 and the second reinforcing ribs 52. A plurality of the third reinforcing ribs 54 has a distance that is twice the distance between the first reinforcing ribs 50 adjacent to each other in the left-right direction on the rear side of the second rear vertical extending plate portion 26. They are spaced apart and positioned parallel to each other. Further, under such an arrangement state, it is integrated with the rear surface of the second rear vertical extending plate portion 26 and continues in the front-rear direction from the rear surface to the boundary portion between the front portion 14 and the rear portion 16. It is extended straight.

As described above, the plurality of first reinforcing ribs 50 and the front end side portion 20 in the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 provided with the front U-shaped portion 46 and the rear U-shaped portion 48 are provided here. Since the plurality of second reinforcing ribs 52 are erected integrally at a close interval, the bending strength of the front end side portion 20 and further the rigidity against the impact load are further sufficiently increased. Yes. In addition, since the plurality of third reinforcing ribs 54 are integrally formed on the rear end side portion 34 (connection plate portion 35) of the front side portion 14, the bending strength of the rear end side portion 34 is further improved. The rigidity against the impact load is advantageously increased compared to the rear portion 16 of the substrate 12 that does not have any of the reinforcing ribs 54.

By the way, the leg cleaning device 10 having such a structure is attached to the inside of a front bumper 56 installed on the front surface of the automobile, for example, in a conventionally known structure as shown in FIG.

That is, the front bumper 56 to which the leg wiper 10 is attached is provided with a bumper cover 62 having an upper protruding portion 58 and a lower protruding portion 60 that protrude from the front surface of the automobile when installed on the front surface of the automobile. is doing. Further, both the upper protrusion 58 and the lower protrusion 60 have a curved shape in which the vertical longitudinal section is convex toward the front. The bumper cover 62 is installed by being bolted to, for example, a front grill 64 constituting the front portion of the automobile. In FIG. 4, 66 and 68 are a bonnet and a radiator, respectively.

Then, a known shock absorbing structure 70 having rigidity smaller than that of the leg wiping member 10 is disposed on the inner side of the upper protrusion 58 of the bumper cover 62 (on the rear side of the vehicle) with the bumper reinforcement 72 that is a rigid member. It is fixed between.

On the other hand, the leg wiper 10 projects the front U-shaped portion 46 and the rear U-shaped portion 48 provided on the front end side portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 from the front surface of the automobile. While the front portion of the character-shaped portion 46 is inserted into the lower protrusion 60, the upper surface of the rear end portion of the rear portion 16 of the substrate 12 is fixed to the front portion of the automobile so as to extend in the vehicle width direction. It arrange | positions in the state made to contact the lower surface of the radiator support 74 which supports the radiator 68 provided. Then, one fixing bolt 76 is inserted into each of the plurality of insertion holes 18 provided in the rear end portion of the rear portion 16 of the substrate 12, and each of the fixing bolts 76 is screwed into the radiator support 74. Thus, the rear portion 16 of the substrate 12 is fixed to the radiator support 74.

Thus, the leg wiper 10 is disposed in the lower part of the front surface of the automobile so as to extend horizontally in the front-rear direction, and the load input surface 31 of the front vertical extension plate portion 22 in the front U-shaped portion 46 of the substrate 12 is provided. The first bent portion 36, which is opposed to the inner surface of the lower protruding portion 60 of the bumper cover 62 and is the lower end portion of the front vertical extending plate portion 22 and the front end portion of the front horizontal extending plate portion 28, In the state where it is positioned close to the inner surface of the lower projecting portion 60 of the cover 62 , it is installed in a fixed position.

Therefore, in the leg wiper 10 of the present embodiment, the pedestrian's leg 78 contacts or collides with the bumper cover 62 of the front bumper 56 as shown in FIG. When fastened, the upper protrusion 58 and the lower protrusion 60 of the bumper cover 62 come into contact with the vicinity of the knee 80 and the vicinity of the shin 82 of the leg part 78 of the pedestrian, respectively. At this time, since the rigidity of the shock absorbing structure 70 is smaller than the rigidity of the leg cleaning device 10, the shock absorbing structure 70 is deformed more easily and in a larger amount than the leg cleaning device 10. It is done. As a result, the bumper cover 62 is configured such that the lower protruding portion 60 protrudes toward the front of the automobile from the upper protruding portion 58, so that the leg 78 collides with the bumper cover 62. Thus, the reaction force against the impact load generated in the leg wiping device 10 is applied to the portion near the shin 82 of the leg portion 78 of the pedestrian via the lower protruding portion 60 of the bumper cover 62. As a result, a portion near the shin 82 of the pedestrian's leg portion 78 is paid off (scooped up) by the leg wiping device 10 so that the pedestrian is allowed to fall down to the hood 50 side of the automobile. The bending of the pedestrian's knee 80 in an unreasonable direction is reduced, and the occurrence of injury such as a fracture to the knee 80 is prevented as much as possible. Thus, protection and safety of pedestrians can be effectively achieved.

And in this leg-pasting device 10, as mentioned above, the front U-shaped portion 46 and the rear U-shaped portion which are caused to function as a bead for reinforcing the front-side portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 as described above. The first, second, and third reinforcing ribs 50, 52, 54 are provided on the rear end side portion 34 as well as the front end side portion 20 of the front side portion 14. By being integrally formed, the rigidity with respect to the impact load of the entire front portion 14 can be sufficiently secured. Therefore, it can be extremely effectively prevented that the front side portion 14 of the substrate 12 is easily bent and deformed by the input of the impact load to the front side portion 14 of the substrate 12.

Further, the configuration is such that the load input surface 31 of the front vertical extension plate portion 22 opposed to the inner surface of the lower projecting portion 60 of the bumper cover 62 is perpendicular to the horizontal plane including the input direction of the impact load. Thus, from the point where the impact load is input at a right angle to the load input surface 31, easy bending deformation of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 can be advantageously prevented.

Further, the front and rear horizontal extending plate portions 28 and 30 provided in the front and rear U-shaped portions 46 and 48 are arranged in a stepwise manner so as to extend horizontally on the substrate 12. The portion is divided into a continuous portion of the rear end portion 34 and the rear portion 16 of the front portion 14, a front horizontal extending plate portion 28, and a rear horizontal extending plate portion 30. Therefore, the moment arm is advantageously shortened, and the rotational force generated in the substrate 12 when the impact load is input is effectively weakened, and this also exhibits the effect of preventing the easy bending deformation of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12. obtain.

Moreover, in the leg cleaning device 10 of the present embodiment, the front end portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 is provided with the front U-shaped portion 46 and the rear U-shaped portion 48 as described above. As a whole, it is configured to extend in a zigzag shape up and down in the front-rear direction, so that it is input to the front vertical extension plate portion 22 of the front U-shaped portion 46 as clearly shown in FIG. Due to the impact load, the front and rear horizontal extending plate portions 28 and 30 of the front and rear U-shaped portions 46 and 48 are displaced rearward, while the impact load is rearward from the front portion 14 of the substrate 12. It is gradually transmitted toward the side part 16. At this time, the first rear vertical extension plate portion 24 and the second rear vertical extension plate portion 26 of the front and rear U-shaped portions 46 and 48 have a predetermined angle with respect to the vertical direction. The substrate 12 is deformed over a wide range in the width direction of the substrate 12 so as to incline toward the front side and the rear side, whereby the impact load is effectively transmitted also in the width direction of the substrate 12. Then, as a result, impact load, is it have advantageously distributed in the front portion 14 of the substrate 12, thereby also facilitating bending deformation of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 at the time of input of the impact load is more effectively Can be prevented.

Thus, in this embodiment, the occurrence of easy bending deformation due to various causes of the front side portion 14 of the substrate 12 at the time of input of the impact load can be prevented from multiple aspects. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the rise of the impact load in the load characteristics from being delayed due to the bending deformation of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12.

Therefore, in the leg cleaning device 10 of this embodiment as described above, the impact load in the load characteristic can be quickly started up, and a sufficient reaction force against the impact load can be instantaneously and sufficiently exhibited. As a result, the leg portion 78 of the pedestrian that has collided with the front bumper 56 is immediately and reliably removed, and can be sufficiently protected at an even higher level.

Further, in such a leg wiping device 10, since the impact load in the load characteristic can be quickly started up, the impact load can reach the target value more quickly. As a result, the amount of shock absorbing stroke due to buckling deformation of each of the horizontally extending plate portions 28 and 30 and the connecting plate portion 35 after the impact load in the load characteristic reaches the target value is effective in a more sufficient amount. The advantage that it can be ensured is also obtained.

Further, in the present embodiment, in order to ensure the rigidity of the front portion 14 in the substrate 10, a plurality of first, second, and third reinforcing ribs 50, 52, 54 are formed integrally with the front portion 14. Therefore, for example, as compared with the case where a member separate from the substrate 10 is fixed to increase the rigidity of the front portion 14, the productivity of the substrate 10 and, consequently, the leg cleaning device 10 as a whole can be improved. The advantage is obtained that a reduction can be advantageously achieved. Furthermore, the rigidity of the front portion 14 in the substrate 12 can be appropriately changed by adjusting the number of the first, second and third reinforcing ribs 50, 52, 54, the position of the arrangement, and the like. Therefore, the amount of buckling deformation of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 due to the input of the impact load, and the amount of shock energy absorbed based on the buckling deformation of the front portion 14 according to the magnitude of the input impact load. Therefore, it can be easily tuned.

Incidentally, in the above embodiment, with respect to the front end portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 10, although the two U-shaped portions 46, 48 are provided continuously, e.g., mow the front end An example in which only one U-shaped portion 84 is provided on the side portion 20 is shown in FIG. In the is Ru form state that shown in FIG. 5, for the members and portions are the same structure as the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 are identified by the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 to FIG. 4, Detailed description thereof is omitted.

That is, in the leg cleaning device 10 shown in FIG. 5, the front vertical extension plate portion 86 and the rear side that extend straight in the vertical direction over the entire width of the front end portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 14. The vertically extending plate portion 88 is integrally provided in a state where the vertical extending plate portion 88 is opposed to each other with a certain distance in the front-rear direction. They also front vertical extending plate portion 8 6 and the rear vertical extension plate portion 88, prior to the front vertical extending plate portion of you facilities form (22) and the first rear vertical extending plate section (24) It has the same composition as.

As a result, the front surface 90 of the front vertical extending plate 86 has a vertical surface that is perpendicular to the horizontal plane including the input direction in the impact load generated when the pedestrian leg (78) collides with the front bumper 56. The load input surface 31 is a curved surface that is bent so as to bend gradually toward the left and right ends from the center in the direction. That is, the load input surface 31 is formed of a curved surface that is convex toward the front and is formed by a locus that moves the vertical line so as to draw an arc.

Further, a horizontal extension plate portion 94 that extends straight in the horizontal direction over the entire width of the substrate 12 in the front-rear direction is positioned between the upper ends of the front and rear vertical extension plate portions 86 and 88. Thus, the upper ends of the front and rear vertical extending plate portions 86 and 88 are integrally connected by the horizontal extending plate portion 94. And the connection which consists of the rear-end part side part 34 of the front side site | part 14 in the board | substrate 12 with respect to the lower end part of the rear surface opposite to the connection side with the horizontal extension plate part 94 in this back side vertical extension plate part 88. The plate part 35 is integrally connected.

In other words, in this form state, the front end portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12, is brought position horizontal extending plate portion 94, with respect to the front edge of the horizontal extension plate portion 94 The front vertical extending plate portion 86 is integrally formed so as to extend vertically downward. Further, the rear end of such a horizontal extending plate portion 94, the rear vertical extending plate portion 88, a front vertical extending plate portion 86, corresponding to the extended length of the horizontal extension plate portion 94 In a state of being opposed to each other with a distance, they are integrally formed so as to extend straight downward in the vertical direction. The connecting plate portion 35 is integrally connected to the rear surface of the lower end portion of the rear vertical extending plate portion 88 at the front end edge thereof.

Thus, the vertical vertical section of the front end portion side portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 14 is directed downward by the front vertical extending plate portion 86, the horizontal extending plate portion 94, and the rear vertical extending plate portion 88. Thus, a U-shaped portion 84 having a U-shape that opens to the entire width of the substrate 12 is formed.

And, thereby, the leg sweep apparatus 10 of the present form state is U-shaped portion 84, is caused to function as a bead for reinforcing the front end portion 20 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 1 2, such front end portion The bending strength of the portion 20 and the rigidity against the impact load can be sufficiently secured.

Further, on the lower surface of the horizontal extending portion 94 constituting the U-shaped portion 84, which is configured similarly to the previous first reinforcing rib (50) in you facilities embodiment and second reinforcing ribs (52), thin A plurality of flat front reinforcing ribs 96 are integrally erected at a predetermined distance in the left-right direction and integrated with the rear surface of the front vertical extension plate portion 86 and the front surface of the rear vertical extension plate portion 88. It has become. Further, on the upper surface of the connecting plate portion 35 of the rear end portion 34 of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12, which is the same configuration as the third reinforcing rib before you facilities form (54), the thin plate-shaped A plurality of rear reinforcing ribs 98 are integrally provided upright at a predetermined distance in the left-right direction and integrated with the rear surface of the rear vertical extending plate portion 88. Thereby, the rigidity with respect to the impact load of the front side part 14 in the board | substrate 12 is further improved effectively.

The leg washer 10 having such a structure is the same as that of the above-described embodiment, with the front portion of the U-shaped portion 84 protruding into the lower protruding portion 60 of the bumper cover 62 of the front bumper 56. It is installed at the bottom of the car.

Therefore, in the pedestrian protection apparatus 10 of the present form state is that sufficient rigidity against the impact load is ensured, at the time of collision of the pedestrian Shaashi portion against the front bumper 56 (78), the base portion 12 of the front portion 14 Easy bending deformation due to impact load can be effectively prevented.

Further, the horizontal extension plate portion 94 of the U-shaped portion 84 is displaced rearward by the input of the impact load, and the front and rear vertical extension plate portions 86 and 88 are at a predetermined angle with respect to the vertical direction. And can be deformed over a wide range in the width direction of the substrate 12 so as to incline forward and rearward. Therefore, the impact load can be effectively transmitted in both the length direction and the width direction of the substrate 12 and can be advantageously dispersed in the front portion 14 of the substrate 12, and this also causes the front portion of the base 12 due to the impact load. 14 easy bending deformations can be effectively prevented.

Therefore, even in the leg sweep apparatus 10 of the present form state, it is achieved quickly start-up the impact load in the load characteristic, sufficient reaction force against the impact load can be exhibited at earlier timing. As a result, the leg part (78) of the pedestrian that has collided with the front bumper 56 can be more quickly and reliably removed, and the protection performance of the pedestrian leg part can be effectively enhanced.

Further, in the leg cleaning device 10, since only one U-shaped portion 84 is formed in the front portion 14 of the substrate 12, it is advantageous to simplify the structure of the substrate 12, and thus the entire leg cleaning device 10. Can be envisioned.

Next, in FIG. 6, as in the form shown in FIG. 5, only one U-shaped portion 84 is provided for the front end portion side portion 20 of the front portion 14 in the substrate 12. An example in which the front vertical extending plate portion 86 of the shaped portion 84 has a special structure is shown. In the present embodiment, the U-shaped portion 84 has a U-shaped configuration that opens upward. Also in that Ru forms state that shown in FIG. 6, for the members and portions are in the form on purpose similar structure Ru shown in implementation embodiment and 5 that are shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, to 1 The same reference numerals as those in FIG. 5 are given, and detailed description thereof is omitted.

That is, in which Ru form state that shown in FIG. 6, the front vertical extension plate portion 86, in two places in the middle portion in the height direction is made to bend at a right angle, configured to extend stepwise forward Has been.

In other words, here, the front vertical extending plate portion 86 is divided into two parts, that is, an upper front vertical extending plate portion 100 and a lower front vertical extending plate portion 102 having the same height. Further, the upper front vertical extending plate portion 100 and the lower front vertical extending plate portion 102 are positioned in a stepped manner with the former being the front side. Then, such an upper front vertical extending plate portion 100 and a lower front vertical extending plate portion 102 are intermediate horizontal extending plate portions 104 that extend horizontally in the front-rear direction between the lower end portion and the upper end portion. They are connected together.

Thereby, the front part of the U-shaped part 84 provided in the front end part side part 20 of the front part 14 in the substrate 12 is configured as a stepped part, and the upper front side vertical extension of the stepped part is formed. The front surface 106 of the plate part 100 is a load input surface 31 that extends straight in the vertical direction. Further, the load input surface 31 has a horizontal protrusion 108 protruding in a horizontal direction at a predetermined height in the form of a thin flat rib having the same thickness as the upper and lower front vertical extending plate portions 100 and 102. Provided.

Further, the leg sweep apparatus 10 of the present form state, of the frontward region 14 of the substrate 12, all parts except for the front end portion 20 of U-shaped portion 84 is provided is a rear end portion 34 ing. The rear end portion 34 is a connecting plate portion 35 that integrally connects the rear vertical extending plate 88 of the U-shaped portion 84 and the rear portion 16 of the substrate 12. In addition, the connecting plate portion 35 includes a rear portion that integrally extends horizontally from the rear portion 16 of the substrate 12, a middle portion that integrally extends obliquely upward from the front end of the rear portion toward the front, Such a middle portion extends from the front portion of the middle portion in the horizontal direction and is integrally connected to the height direction middle portion on the rear surface of the rear vertical extending plate portion 88 of the U-shaped portion 84. It consists of a front part.

In the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 having such a structure, a plurality of thin flat plate-like front reinforcing ribs 96 and rear reinforcing ribs 98 are integrally formed, as in the embodiment shown in FIG. It is erected. Here, a plurality of front reinforcing ribs 96 are erected on the upper surface of the horizontal extension plate portion 94 of the U-shaped portion 84, so that the upper front vertical extension plate portion 100 and the lower front vertical extension plate portion 102. And a plurality of upper front reinforcing ribs 96a integrated with the upper surface of the rear horizontal extension plate portion 104 and the front surface of the rear vertical extension plate portion 88, and the intermediate horizontal extension of the U-shaped portion 84. A plurality of triangular lower front reinforcing ribs 96b which are provided upright on the lower surface of the plate portion 104 and the lower surface of the horizontal protrusion 108 and are integrated with the front surface of the lower front vertical extending plate portion 102. . The plurality of rear reinforcing ribs 98 are erected on the upper surface of the connecting plate portion 35 and are integrated with the upper portion of the rear surface of the rear vertical extending plate portion 88, and a plurality of upper rear reinforcing ribs 98a. A plurality of lower rear reinforcing ribs 98b are provided standing on the lower surface of the intermediate portion and the front portion of the connecting plate portion 35 and integrated with the lower portion of the rear surface of the rear vertical extending plate portion 88.

And such a leg-pasting device 10 has an upper front vertical extending plate portion 100, a lower front vertical extending plate portion 102, and an intermediate horizontal extending plate portion that form a stepped portion at the front portion of the U-shaped portion 84. 104 is inserted into the lower protrusion 60 of the bumper cover 62 in the front bumper 56 and is disposed inside the bumper cover 62. Further, under such an arrangement state, the load input surface 31 of the upper front vertical extending plate portion 100 projects horizontally with respect to the inner surface of the lower protruding portion 60 that has a curved surface shape that protrudes forward. The portions 108 are opposed to each other with a slight gap therebetween. Further, here, the upper front vertical extending plate portion 100 and the lower front vertical extending plate portion 102 have the same height, so that they are inserted into the lower protruding portion 60 of the bumper cover 62. A stepwise portion of the intermediate horizontal extension plate portion 104 is positioned at the intermediate portion in the height direction of the lower protrusion 60. Then, similarly to the embodiment shown before you facilities form and FIG. 5 is installed fixedly.

As Thus, the pedestrian protection apparatus 10 of the present form state is the frontward region 14 of the substrate 12, by a U-shaped portion 84 and a plurality of reinforcing ribs 96, 98 are provided, the front portion of the substrate 12 14 Is sufficiently secured against the impact load, and the impact load can be effectively transmitted in the length direction and the width direction of the front portion 14 of the base portion 12. It is possible to effectively prevent the front portion 14 of the base portion 12 from being easily bent and deformed by an impact load when the leg portion (78) collides.

Further, when the front bumper 56 is installed on the inner side of the bumper cover 62, the intermediate horizontal extending plate portion 104 of the stepped portion projected into the lower protruding portion 60 of the bumper cover 62 protrudes downward. The initial contact point with the pedestrian's leg (78) collided with the bumper cover 62 is located in the stepped portion provided on the front side portion 14 of the substrate 12 because the portion 60 is positioned at the intermediate portion in the height direction. The front end portion of the intermediate horizontal extending plate portion 104 is used to reliably input an impact load in the horizontal direction with respect to the front side portion 14 of the substrate 12. This easy bending deformation can be avoided more effectively.

Therefore, in the pedestrian protection apparatus 10 of the present form state, due to the bending deformation of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 by the input of the impact load, that the rise delay of the impact load in the load characteristic is generated, more advantageously prevented Can be done.

In addition, in such a leg wiper 10, the load input surface 31 of the upper front vertical extension plate portion 100 is positioned below the bumper cover 62 under the bumper cover 62 when the front bumper 56 is installed inside the bumper cover 62. In addition to being opposed to the inner surface of the bumper cover 62, the load input surface 31 is located on the load input surface 31 between the load input surface 31 and the inner surface of the lower protrusion 60 of the bumper cover 62. Even when the inner surface of the integrally formed horizontal protrusion 108 is positioned, and the inner surface of the lower protrusion 60 of the bumper cover 62 has a curved surface shape that protrudes forward, In addition, it is also effective to eliminate the delay of the rising of the impact load in the load characteristics due to the presence of the gap between the inner surface of the lower protrusion 60 and the front portion 14 of the substrate 12. It can be suppressed.

Therefore, in the leg sweep apparatus 10 according to this form condition, sufficient reaction force against the impact load, resulting is exhibited by further timing more early, as a result, the pedestrian legs colliding with the front bumper 56 (78) can be paid more quickly and reliably, and the protection performance of the pedestrian leg can be improved more effectively.

The specific configuration of the present invention has been described in detail above. However, this is merely an example, and the present invention is not limited by the above description.

For example, with respect to the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 as the plate portion, the number of side vertical extending plate portions 24,26,88 after provided on the rear side of the front vertical extension plate portion 22,86 of the previous you It is not limited to what is shown in the embodiment, and it may be three or more.

Further, there is no problem even if the height and thickness of the front vertical extension plate portions 22, 86 and the rear vertical extension plate portions 24, 26, 88 are different from each other.

Furthermore, the number of the horizontal extending plate portions 28, 30, 94 that integrally connect the opposing ones of the rear vertical extending plate portions 24, 26, 88 is also the rear vertical extending plate portion 24, Of course, the number can be increased or decreased as appropriate according to the number of arrangements 26 and 88.

The number of the rear vertical extending plate portions 24, 26, 88 and the horizontal extending plate portions 28, 30, 94 is the rigidity of the front portion 14 of the substrate 12 with respect to the impact load. Alternatively, it is determined appropriately according to the installation space of the pedestrian protection device.

In addition, the connecting portion of the connecting plate portion with respect to the rear vertical extending plate portion also has a height portion different from the connecting portion with the horizontal extending plate portion on the front surface of the rear vertical extending plate portion, It is determined appropriately according to the installation space of the pedestrian protection device.

Further, the plurality of horizontal extending plate portions are positioned between the front vertical extending plate portion and the rear vertical extending plate portion facing each other, or between the rear vertical extending plate portions facing each other. When the vertically extending plate portions opposed to each other are integrally connected, that is, when a plurality of U-shaped portions are provided, of the plurality of horizontal extending plate portions, If the fittings are arranged in steps above and below, the connecting portions of each horizontal extension plate portion with each vertical extension plate portion are edge portions corresponding to each other of each vertical extension plate portion as illustrated. It is not limited to this, For example, the edge part which mutually corresponds in the intermediate part side rather than an edge part may be sufficient.

On the other hand, when only one U-shaped portion is provided, that is, with respect to the front end portion and the rear end portion of one horizontal extending plate portion, the front vertical extending plate portion and the rear vertical extending portion Even when the plate portion is integrally formed, as illustrated, the front and rear vertical extending plate portions are formed integrally with the front end edge portion and the rear end edge portion of the horizontal extending plate portion. For example, at least one of the front-side and rear-side vertical extending plate portions is provided at an end portion located on the intermediate portion side of each edge of the front end portion or the rear end portion of the horizontal extending plate portion. You can also Further, when the front and rear vertical extending plate portions are provided on the front and rear edge portions of the horizontal extending plate portion, at least one of the front and rear vertical extending plate portions is also provided. May be configured so as to be integrated with the edge of the horizontal extending plate portion at the end portion on the intermediate portion side relative to the upper and lower end edges.

That is, in other words, when one or a plurality of U-shaped portions are provided on the front end portion side of the front portion of the plate portion (substrate), the U-shaped portions are not necessarily all the vertical extending plate portions. It is not necessary to be configured by combining all the portions of the horizontal extension plate portion and each portion of the horizontal extension plate portion, but by combining a part of each vertical extension plate portion and a portion of each horizontal extension plate portion. It is also possible.

Moreover, the installation structure of the protective device for pedestrians in the lower part of the front surface of the vehicle is not particularly limited to the illustrated structure. In other words, the vehicle part and the fixing method to which the rear part of the plate part is fixed can be variously changed. In addition, it may be installed in the lower part of the vehicle separately from the front bumper.

Moreover, it is also possible to comprise the front surface of the front vertical extension board part used as a load input surface (31) in the plane orthogonal to a horizontal surface.

Further, when the front vertical extension plate portion is bent at substantially right angles at a plurality of positions in the intermediate portion in the height direction so as to extend in the vertical direction with a staircase shape, the front vertical extension plate portion and even in the Shi Mel so was bent at right angles in the above three positions in the height direction, whatever no problem. Incidentally, refractive songs angle than 90 °, some may be or smaller large.

Furthermore, the staircase shape due to the bending of the front vertical extending plate portion is not only the staircase shape that climbs forward as illustrated, but also the staircase shape that descends forward, or the rearward climb. Or it may be a staircase shape that gets down.

The front in you facilities forms and the like, the front portion 14 of the substrate 12, the reinforcing ribs 50,52,54,96,98 is has been provided as a reinforcing portion, the reinforcing portion, the front portion of the substrate 12 The structure is not particularly limited as long as 14 can prevent deformation due to an impact load input in association with the collision of the pedestrian leg with the front surface of the vehicle. Even when such a reinforcing portion is constituted by the reinforcing ribs 50, 52, 54, 96, and 98 as illustrated, the shape, arrangement position, number of arrangements, etc. can be changed as appropriate. Of course. Further, such a reinforcing portion is not essential in the present invention and can be omitted.

Further, the front you facilities forms and the like, by the collision to the bumper cover 62 of the pedestrian leg 78, reaction force against an impact load occurring in the leg sweep member 10, the portion in the vicinity of the shank 82 of the pedestrian leg 78 On the other hand, although it was made to act via the lower protrusion part 60 of the bumper cover 62, the site | part of the leg part 78 of the pedestrian to which the reaction force with respect to this impact load is made to act is the It is a place that is appropriately changed depending on the installation position.

In addition, it goes without saying that the present invention can be advantageously applied to any pedestrian protection apparatus installed in various forms on the front surface of a vehicle other than an automobile.

In addition, although not enumerated one by one, the present invention can be carried out in an embodiment to which various changes, modifications, improvements, etc. are added based on the knowledge of those skilled in the art. It goes without saying that all are included in the scope of the present invention without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

[Experimental example]
The following illustrates a representative specific experimental example, and to clarify some of the features of the present invention, the present invention is, depending on the description of such experiments example, be anything like constraints It goes without saying that it is not something to receive.

First, as shown in FIG. 5, a front vertical extension plate portion (86), a rear vertical extension plate portion (88), and a horizontal extension plate are formed on a front portion (14) of a substrate (12) made of a flat plate material. A U-shaped portion (84) composed of a portion (94) is provided, and a plurality of reinforcing ribs (96, 98) are integrally erected so that the front surface of the front vertical extending plate portion (86) is loaded. A leg washer (10) having a structure according to the present invention as an input surface (31) was prepared and prepared by performing injection molding using polypropylene. Then, this was taken as a study example. In addition, the maximum total length in the front-rear direction of the substrate in the leg cleaning device of this study example was 300 mm, and the width was 1200 mm. The height of the front vertical extension plate and the rear vertical extension plate was 25 mm, and the length of the horizontal extension plate was 15 mm. Further, the thickness of each of the substrates and the extended plate portions was 3 mm. Moreover, the height of each reinforcement rib was 25 mm, and the thickness was 1.5-3 mm.

For comparison, apart from the leg-paying device of the study example, a plurality of vertical ribs extending in the length direction are opposed to each other at a predetermined distance in the width direction at the front portion of the substrate made of a flat plate material. In addition, one horizontal rib extending in the width direction is integrally erected in a state of intersecting the plurality of vertical ribs, and the front end surface of the substrate is used as a load input surface. In addition, a leg washer having a conventionally known structure was prepared and prepared by performing injection molding using polypropylene. And this was made into the comparative example. Note that the maximum total length and width of the substrate in the leg cleaning device of this comparative example were the same as the maximum total length and width of the substrate in the leg cleaning device of the study example. In addition, the height and thickness of each of the vertical ribs and the horizontal ribs are the same as the height and thickness of the reinforcing ribs in the leg cleaning device of the study example.

Then, the two types of leg-pasting devices prepared in this way, the study example and the comparative example, were each installed on a fixed base. Thereafter, a halved cylindrical impactor having a weight of 21.3 kg was collided at a speed of 5.3 m / s against the load input surface in each of the two types of leg-pasting devices. Thus, a pedestrian collision test is performed assuming a pedestrian collision with each leg-paying device of the study example and the comparative example, and the portion deformed by the impact load input at the time of the pedestrian collision and the amount of deformation are determined. Each leg washer was examined by CAE analysis. FIG. 7 shows a simulation result by CAE analysis of the leg payment device of the examination example in the pedestrian collision test, and FIG. 8 shows a simulation result by CAE analysis of the leg payment device of the comparative example. In FIGS. 7 and 8, the difference in the amount of partial deformation in each leg cleaning device is shown by the difference in light and shade.

As shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, the portion deformed by the impact load input at the time of the collision of the pedestrian is the substrate of the legping device of the study example rather than the legping device of the comparative example. It can be seen that a wider range is distributed in the anterior region. From this, the leg cleaning device having the structure according to the present invention can disperse the impact load in a wider range in the front part of the substrate, and thus the bending deformation due to the impact load in the front part of the substrate is more It can be clearly recognized that it can be effectively prevented.
