該パッカ―の外周に、熱硬化性樹脂を巻き付け、さらに、前記本管と枝管の内周面に押圧される本管部および枝管部を有するゴム筒の外表面で本管の両端部側および枝管の先端部側に形成した補修部材本体のシ―ルゴムリングと対向する補修部材本体の内周面に円筒状に巻かれた帯状金属板と前記補修部材本体とを巻き付け、
該パッカ―を本管内を移動させて枝管の中心軸線直下に枝管側のゴム筒の中心部位を位置させ、
次いで、パッカ―内のジャッキにより前記枝管側のゴム筒を枝管内に進入させ、
次いで、パッカ―内に圧縮空気を供給してパッカ―を膨張させ、パッカ―内からの空気圧によって前記各金属板の円筒外径を拡大させ、各金属板によって前記各シ―ルゴムリングを本管と枝管の各内周に圧着させ、
