このタイプの具体例としてはその組成が、LiNd0.9 Yb0.1 P4 O12、LiBi0.2 Nd0.7 Yb0.1 P4 O12、Nd0.9 Yb0.1 Nd5 (MoO4 )4 、NaNd0.9 Yb0.1 P4 O12、Nd0.8 Yb0.2 Na5 (WO4 )4 、Nd0.8 Yb0.2 Na5 (Mo0.5 W0.5 O4 )4、Ce0.05Gd0.05Nd0.75Yb0.15Na5 (W0.7 Mo0.3 O4 )4 、Nd0.9 Yb0.1 Al3 (BO3 )4 、Nd0.9 Yb0.1 Al2.7 Cr0.3 (BO3 )4 、Nd0.6 Yb0.4 P5 O14Nd0.8 Yb0.2 K3 (PO4 )2 等がある。
【0018】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is intended to prevent counterfeiting and authenticity of certificates such as licenses, ID cards such as credit cards, gift certificates, securities, and the like, and a color variable printing layer (pearl printing) that changes color depending on the angle viewed on the printing substrate. Etc.) and a pattern-like photoreactive printing layer that emits fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet rays or infrared rays is provided on the color variable printing layer so as to synchronize with the color tone of the substrate. The present invention relates to an anti-counterfeit printing medium and an authenticity determination method that appear to be ink pattern printing, but whose photoreactive printing layer emits visible light when irradiated with excitation light, and that can be determined visually or by machine recognition.
Fields of application of the present invention are license certificates, ID certificates such as credit / cash cards, gift certificates, gift certificates, securities, stock certificates and other gold certificates, various certificates, various tickets, and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in order to prevent forgery of this kind of cash vouchers, forgery prevention technology has been performed in which a color variable printing layer whose color changes depending on the viewing angle is provided.
Such a color variable printing layer is formed by printing with a color changing ink whose color changes depending on the viewing angle, such as pearl ink. The ink whose color changes includes a pigment that multi-reflects light, and the color appears to change due to interference of light reflected by the pigment. Therefore, the color change effect is greater as the amount of light reflected by the pigment increases. Therefore, the color variable printing layer is often printed by stencil printing such as screen printing or intaglio printing such as gravure printing so that the thickness of the color variable printing layer is increased so that the number of pigments that multiple reflection of light increases. .
However, since the color variable printing layer is often printed by gravure printing, coating, or screen printing, there is a problem that the manufacturing cost increases.
[0003]
In order to solve such a problem, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-6564 provides a color variable printing layer such as pearl printing on a printing medium such as a gift certificate or stock certificate, and a part of the color variable printing layer is formed into a pattern. We have proposed anti-counterfeit print media that are hidden from view and have specific information. This print medium has a feature that the color tone of the medium base material and the color tone of the specific information appear to be synchronized.
However, the pearl ink itself is easily available, and if pearl ink is available, it is possible for ordinary printing manufacturers to make similar prints by printing matte ink on it. .
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Accordingly, in the present invention, the present invention has been completed by paying attention to the fact that the anti-counterfeit effect can be further improved by adding a photoreactive printing layer that emits fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet rays or infrared rays to the color variable printing layer. Is.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The first of the gist of the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problem is that a color variable printing layer whose color changes depending on the viewing angle is provided on the authenticity discrimination region having the printed background pattern on the medium base material , on the該色Irodori variable printing layer, a photoreactive printing layer to visible light fluorescence by irradiation of infrared provided in a pattern, authenticity determination can be security printing medium, characterized in that, in. Since it is such a forgery-preventing print medium, the forgery print medium can be easily detected.
[0006]
The second of the gist of the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems is that a color variable printing layer whose color changes depending on the viewing angle is provided on the authenticity discrimination region having the printed background pattern on the medium base material , on the該色Irodori variable print layer, the print medium having a photoreactive printing layer to visible light fluorescence by irradiation of infrared in a pattern, is visible light fluorescence light reaction printing layer portion is irradiated with infrared The true / false judgment method of the print medium is characterized in that the true / false judgment is made visually or by machine recognition. Because of this true / false determination method, a forged print medium can be easily detected.

Next, the photoreactive printing layer will be described. The photoreactive printing layer is a layer made of a fluorescent agent that emits fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet rays or infrared rays, and there are the following three types depending on the excitation light and the fluorescence wavelength region.
(1) Infrared excitation visible light fluorescence emission type, (2) Infrared excitation infrared light fluorescence emission type, (3) Ultraviolet excitation visible light fluorescence emission type
(1) Infrared excitation visible light Fluorescence emission type A fluorescent agent which is excited by infrared light (about 800 to about 1200 nm) and emits visible light (about 400 to about 800 nm).
Specific examples of this type include YF 3 : Yb + Er, YF 3 : Yb + Tm, BaFCl: Yb + Er, and the like. In addition, the composition of the infrared light emitting fluorescent agent is usually divided into a parent crystal, which is a main component, and an activator or a light emission center dispersed therein, which are connected by (:).
In particular, when using a material that emits visible light by exciting the photoreactive printing layer with infrared rays, it is difficult to obtain the material, and the security can be improved as compared with the ultraviolet light emitting type that is usually available as a fluorescent material.
[0017]
(2) Infrared excitation infrared light Fluorescent agent that emits light at a longer wavelength (about 980 to about 1020 nm) when excited with infrared light (about 800 to about 900 nm).
As specific examples of this type, the composition is LiNd 0.9 Yb 0.1 P 4 O 12 , LiBi 0.2 Nd 0.7 Yb 0.1 P 4 O 12 , Nd 0.9 Yb 0.1 Nd 5 (MoO 4 ) 4 , NaNd 0.9 Yb 0.1 P 4 O 12 , Nd 0.8 Yb 0.2 Na 5 (WO 4 ) 4 , Nd 0.8 Yb 0.2 Na 5 (Mo 0.5 W 0.5 O 4 ) 4 , Ce 0.05 Gd 0.05 Nd 0.75 Yb 0.15 Na 5 (W 0.7 Mo 0.3 O 4 ) 4 , Nd 0.9 Yb 0.1 Al 3 (BO 3) 4, Nd 0.9 Yb 0.1 Al 2.7 Cr 0.3 (BO 3) 4, Nd 0.6 Yb 0.4 P 5 O 14 Nd 0.8 Yb 0.2 K 3 (PO 4) is 2, and the like.
[0018]
(3) UV-excited visible light fluorescent emission type Excited by UV light, the spectrum peak emitted when returning to a lower energy level is in the wavelength range of blue, green, red, etc. It is obtained by adding a trace amount of metal (copper, silver, manganese, bismuth, lead) as an activator and firing at a high temperature in order to enhance the emission of light to a high-purity phosphor such as an earth metal sulfide. Specific examples include Ca 2 B 5 O 9 Cl: Eu 2+ , CaWO 4 , ZnO: Zn, Zn 2 SiO 4 : Mn, Y 2 O 2 S: Eu, ZnS: Ag, YVO 4 : Eu, Y 2. O 3 : Eu, Gd 2 O 2 S: Tb, La 2 O 2 S: Tb, Y 3 Al 5 O 12 : Ce, Sr 5 (PO 4 ) 3 Cl: Eu, 3 (Ba, Mg) O · 8Al 2 O 3 : Eu, Zn 2 GeO 4 : Mn, Y (P, V) O 4 : Eu, 0.5MgF 2 · 3.5MgO · GeO 2 : Mn, ZnS: Cu, ZnS: Mn, etc. Are used alone, or several kinds of them are arbitrarily selected and mixed for use. These fluorescence spectra have peaks outside the wavelength range such as blue, green, and red, and can be appropriately selected according to a desired fluorescence spectrum.

The ultraviolet light emitting fluorescent agent is a short wavelength ultraviolet light emitting fluorescent agent that emits light in the short wavelength range of ultraviolet rays (about 200 to 300 nm, particularly preferably 254 nm) and the long wavelength range (about 300 to 400 nm, particularly preferably 365 nm). There are long-wavelength ultraviolet-emitting fluorescent agents that emit light.

(Fluorescent barcode reading method)
As described above, random patterns such as letters, numbers, alphabets, and marks, barcodes (one-dimensional and two-dimensional), and the like can be printed on the anti-counterfeit print medium. When the barcode is provided by a photoreactive printing layer made of a fluorescent material, there is less problem that the image or atmosphere of the print medium is impaired as compared with a black barcode visually recognized. On the contrary, there is an advantage that a bar code that is “invisible” or “difficult to see” visually can be mechanically read and used.

As shown in FIG. 4, the barcode is not visually visible as a whole, but on the inner side surrounded by a dotted line is a
In any case, there is an advantage that the barcode is not made conscious and the design is not impaired as compared with the monochrome barcode as shown in FIG.

【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
According to the invention of claim 1, by providing the color variable printing layer on the medium substrate and forming the photoreactive printing layer on the medium base material so as to conceal the color variable printing layer, It can be easily distinguished. In particular, the forgery prevention effect can be improved by complicating the information pattern of the photoreactive printing layer with a high-definition image or micro characters.
According to the invention of claim 2, the material is difficult to obtain by using a material that excites the photoreactive printing layer with infrared rays and emits visible light. Compared with the ultraviolet light emitting type that is usually available as a fluorescent material. However, security can be improved.
In particular, in the case of machine recognition, the use of a material that emits infrared light by infrared rays is also highly secure. These materials may be used in combination.
[0029]
According to the invention of
According to the invention of claim 4, variable information (ID information, date, numbering, etc.) can be recorded by forming the pattern of the photoreactive printing layer by thermal transfer using a thermal ink ribbon, and security is improved. .
[0030]
According to the invention of the authenticity determination method of claim 5 or less, when a similar product comes out, a photoreactive printing layer is formed, and by irradiating ultraviolet rays or infrared rays with a viewer or a dedicated reader, The reaction printing layer portion is made to emit fluorescent light, and authenticity can be judged by visual observation or machine recognition.
