Claims (1)

ヘッド本体先端面部の少なくとも中心側と外周側とに切削刃が、またヘッド本体先端面外周部にガイドパッドが夫々ロー付けされ、外周側切削刃には前切刃と隣接する前すくい面にチップブレーカが設けられると共に、外周側切削刃の外側面にはドリル回転方向先端側にマージン部が設けられてなるドリルヘッドにおいて、
外周側切削刃における前記マージン部のドリル回転方向先端側には横すくい面形成されると共に、該横すくい面は、前すくい面と面一に形成される部分とドリル回転方向に前すくい面より高段状に形成される部分とからなり、マージン部の先端縁に沿って横切刃が形成され、この横切刃は、前切刃とのコーナー部を始点として、この始点から前記ガイドパッドの先端縁と周方向に対応する位置を越えてマージン部先端縁の全長に亘って又はその所要長さまで延びるように形成ていることを特徴とするドリルヘッド。
