Description
この特許出願は、この特許出願の譲受人に譲渡され、参照することにより本明細書に明示的に組み込まれる、2003年7月15日に出願された、「自律割当を用いたマルチフロー通信システムのためのリバースリンク差別化サービス」(Reverse Link Differentiated Services for a Multiflow Communications System Using Autonomous Allocation)というタイトルの仮出願第60/487,648の優先権を主張する。
(1)セクターsはアクセス端末のためのフォワードリンクサービングセクターである;
(2)セクターsからのDRCLockビットは、ロック状態でなく、セクターsのPilotStrengthn,sはしきい値より大きく;
(3) セクターsからのDRCLockビットはロック状態であり、セクターsのPilotStrengthn,sはしきい値より大きい。
Claims (12)
- パケットを送信する方法において、
a)ペイロードプロファイルからペイロードサイズを選択することと、
b)前記パケットの送信モードに対して前記選択されたペイロードサイズに関連する電力レベルを識別することと、
c)前記パケットが選択されたペイロードサイズおよび前記電力レベルで送信されるなら、送信条件が満足されるかどうかを決定することと、
d)前記送信条件が満足されるなら、前記パケットを送信することと、
e)前記送信条件が満足されないなら、異なるペイロードサイズを選択し、ステップb)に戻ることと、
を備えたことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記送信モードは高容量送信モードと低待ち時間送信モードを含む、請求項1のパケットを送信する方法。
- 前記送信条件は割り当てられた電力条件を備え、それにより前記パケットの電力レベルは前記パケットのための合計利用可能電力を超えない、請求項1のパケットを送信する方法。
- 前記送信条件はデータ条件を備えた、請求項1のパケットを送信する方法。
- セクター内のアクセスネットワークとの無線通信のために構成されるアクセス端末において、
リバーストラヒックチャネルを前記アクセスネットワークに送信する送信機と、
前記アクセスネットワークから信号を受信するアンテナと、
プロセッサーと、
前記プロセッサーと電子的に通信するメモリと、
前記メモリに記憶され、前記プロセッサにより実行される、パケット送信するための命令であって、
a)ペイロードプロファイルからペイロードサイズを選択することと、
b)前記パケットの送信モードのための選択されたペイロードサイズに関連する電力レベルを識別することと、
c)前記パケットが前記選択されたペイロードサイズおよび前記電力レベルで送信されるなら、送信条件が満足されたかどうかを決定することと、
d)前記送信条件が満足されるなら前記パケットを送信することと、
e)前記送信条件が満足されないなら異なるペイロードサイズを選択し、命令bに戻ることと、
を備えた命令と、
を備えたことを特徴とするアクセス端末。 - 前記送信モードは高容量送信モードと低待ち時間送信モードとを含む、請求項5のアクセス端末。
- 前記送信条件は割り当てられた電力条件を備え、それにより前記パケットの電力レベルは前記パケットのための合計利用可能電力を超えない、請求項5のアクセス端末。
- 前記送信条件はデータ条件を備えた、請求項5のアクセス端末。
- パケットを送信するための装置において、
ペイロードプロファイルからペイロードサイズを選択する手段と、
前記パケットの送信モードのための前記選択されたペイロードサイズに関連する電力レベルを識別する手段と、
前記パケットが前記選択されたペイロードサイズおよび前記電力レベルで送信されるなら前記送信条件が満足されたかどうかを決定する手段と、
前記送信条件が満足されるなら、前記パケットを送信する手段と、
前記送信条件が満足されないなら異なるペイロードサイズを選択し、前記パケットの前記送信モードのための前記異なるペイロードサイズに関連
する電力レベルを識別し、前記パケットが前記異なるペイロードサイズと前記電力レベルで送信されるなら、前記送信条件が満足されるか否かを決定し、前記送信条件が満足されるなら前記パケットを送信する手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とするパケットを送信する装置。 - 前記送信モードは高容量送信モードと低待ち時間送信モードとを含む、請求項9のパケットを送信する装置。
- 前記送信条件は割り当てられた電力条件を備え、それにより前記パケットの電力レベルは前記パケットのための合計の利用可能な電力を超えない、請求項9のパケットを送信する装置。
- 前記送信条件はデータ条件を備えている、請求項9のパケットを送信する装置。
