Description
この特許出願は、この特許出願の譲受人に譲渡され、参照することにより本明細書に明示的に組み込まれる、2003年7月15日に出願された、「自律割当を用いたマルチフロー通信システムのためのリバースリンク差別化サービス」(Reverse Link Differentiated Services for a Multiflow Communications System Using Autonomous Allocation)というタイトルの仮出願第60/487,648の優先権を主張する。
(1)セクターsはアクセス端末のためのフォワードリンクサービングセクターである;
(2)セクターsからのDRCLockビットは、ロック状態でなく、セクターsのPilotStrengthn,sはしきい値より大きく;
(3) セクターsからのDRCLockビットはロック状態であり、セクターsのPilotStrengthn,sはしきい値より大きい。
Claims (13)
- 下記を具備する、セクター内にアクセスネットワークを備えた無線通信用に構成されるアクセス端末:
リバーストラフィックチャネルを前記アクセスネットワークに送信するための送信機;
前記アクセスネットワークから信号を受信するためのアンテナ;
プロセッサー;
前記プロセッサーと電子通信するメモリ;および
下記を具備する方法を実施するために実行可能である、前記メモリに記憶された命令:
前記アクセスネットワークにより送信されるリバースアクティビティビットの現在値を推定する;
前記リバースアクティビティビットの前記推定された現在値が、セクターがビジーであることを示すなら、前記アクセス端末上の複数のフローの各フローのための現在の電力割当を減少する、特定のフローのための前記減少の大きさは、前記フローのために設計される下方ランピング関数に従って決定される、前記下方ランピング関数は、前記フローのための前記現在の電力割当の関数である;および
前記リバースアクティビティビットの前記推定された現在値がセクターがアイドルであることを示すなら、前記アクセス端末上の前記複数のフローの各フローのための前記現在の電力割当を増加する、特定のフローのための前記増加の大きさは、前記フローのために設計される上方ランピング関数に従って決定される、前記上方ランピング関数は前記フローのための前記現在の電力割当の関数である。 - 前記リバースアクティビティビットの現在値を推定することは、スロット毎に一回実行される、請求項1のアクセス端末。
- 前記推定は、調節可能な時定数を有するフィルターを備えたアクセスネットワークから受信される信号をフィルタリングすることを具備する、請求項2のアクセス端末。
- 前記方法はさらに下記を具備する、請求項1のアクセス端末:
セクターの負荷レベルを推定する;および
前記複数のフローの各フローのためのピーク電力割当を決定する、特定のフローのための前記ピーク電力割当は、前記フローのための現在の電力割当と前記セクターの前記負荷レベルの推定値の関数である。 - 各フローに対して、前記方法はさらに下記を具備する、請求項1のアクセス端末:
フローのための累積された電力割当を決定する;
前記フローのための現在の電力割当と、前記フローのための累積された電力割当を用いて前記フローのための合計の利用可能な電力を決定する;および
前記フローのための合計の利用可能な電力を用いて前記アクセスネットワークに送信されるパケットの電力レベルを決定する。 - 前記フローのための累積された電力割当は、飽和レベルにより制限され、前記飽和レベルは、ピーク電力割当を超える設定可能な因子である、請求項5のアクセス端末。
- 前記下方ランピング関数および前記上方ランピング関数は両方とも前記セクターの負荷レベルの推定値に依存する、請求項1のアクセス端末。
- 前記下方ランピング関数および前記上方ランピング関数は両方とも、前記アクセス端末により測定されるパイロット強度に依存する、請求項1のアクセス端末。
- 下記を具備する、セクター内にアクセスネットワークを備えた無線通信用に構成されるアクセス端末:
前記アクセスネットワークにより送信されるリバースアクティビティビットの現在値を推定する手段;
前記リバースアクティビティビットの現在値が、前記セクターがビジーであることを示すなら、前記アクセス端末上の複数のフローの各フローのための現在の電力割当を減少する手段、特定のフローのための前記減少は、前記フローのために設計される下方ランピング関数に従って決定され、下方ランピング関数は前記フローのための前記現在の電力割当の関数である;
前記リバースアクティビティビットの現在値が、前記セクターがアイドルであることを示すなら、前記アクセス端末上の複数のフローの各フローのための現在の電力割当を増加する手段、特定のフローのための前記増加の大きさは、前記フローのために設計される上方ランピング関数に従って決定され、前記上方ランピング関数は、前記フローのための前記現在の電力割当の関数である。 - さらに下記を具備する、請求項10のアクセス端末:
前記セクターの負荷レベルを推定する手段;および
前記複数のフローの各フローのためのピーク電力割当を決定する手段、特定のフローのための前記ピーク割当は、前記フローの前記現在の電力割当及び前記セクターの前記負荷レベルの推定値の関数である。 - フロー毎にさらに下記を具備する、請求項10のアクセス端末:
前記フローのための累積された電力割当を決定する手段;
前記フローのための前記現在の電力割当と前記フローのための前記累積された電力割当を用いて前記フローのための合計の利用可能な電力を決定する手段;および
前記フローのための合計の利用可能な電力を用いて前記アクセスネットワークに送信されるパケットのための電力レベルを決定する手段。 - セクター内にアクセスネットワークを備えた無線通信のために構成されるアクセス端末において、下記を具備する方法:
前記アクセスネットワークによって送信されるリバースアクティビティビットの現在値を推定する;
前記リバースアクティビティビットの前記推定された現在値が、セクターがビジーであることを示すなら、前記アクセス端末上の複数のフローの各フローの現在の電力割当を減少する、特定のフローのための前記減少の大きさは前記フローのために設計される下方ランピング関数に従って決定され、前記下方ランピング関数は、前記フローのための前記現在の電力割当の関数である;および
前記リバースアクティビティビットの前記推定された現在値が、セクターがアイドルであることを示すなら、前記アクセス端末上の前記複数のフローの各フローの前記現在の電力割当を増加する、特定のフローのための前記増加の大きさは、前記フローのために設計される上方ランピング関数に従って決定され、前記上方ランピング関数は、前記フローのための前記現在の電力割当の関数である。
