Description
The present invention relates to an electric motor drive system, and more particularly to a system for performing reduced operation when a device for supplying electric power to an AC electric motor becomes abnormal.
A method is known in which the windings of a multiphase AC motor are divided into a plurality of sets and driven by a plurality of sets of multiphase power converters. Such a configuration has a feature that a large-capacity electric motor can be driven by combining a plurality of small-capacity power converters that can be easily manufactured, and is proposed in
Further, in the above configuration,

In such a configuration, all the
In the case of using a plurality of power conversion devices that are power supply sources as in the prior art described above, the motor is driven only by normal power conversion devices when some of the power conversion devices fail (hereinafter referred to as reduced operation). Is often impossible in practice. This is because current does not flow through the windings corresponding to the failed power converter, and the noise and vibration of the motor increase abnormally in such an electrically and magnetically unbalanced state. This is because the electric motor may be damaged.
In order to solve the above problems, it is necessary to study the technology in consideration of the winding configuration of the electric motor and the magnetic flux distribution. However, the above-mentioned prior art that proposes reduced operation does not disclose a phenomenon that occurs in the motor due to the flow of an unbalanced current in the motor, particularly a study of magnetic unbalance and prevention of each pole. .
Here, specific problems during the reduction operation will be described. In the following description, a winding configuration having N sets of multiphase windings is referred to as N multiplexing. FIG. 8 is a diagram showing a connection example in the case of driving the
For simplicity, only one phase of the three-phase winding is shown in the figure. In addition, for the sake of clarity, an example of one turn of concentrated winding is shown. Further, an inverter that assumes a failure and a winding that is not fed as a result are indicated by broken lines.
FIG. 9 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing where the windings are arranged when the electric motor of FIG. 8 is viewed from the direction of the rotation axis. In the figure, the electric motor includes a
When current is passed through these windings C1 to C4 to generate torque, a radial magnetic attractive force is generated between the
Here, consider a case where one inverter fails. For example, consider a case where the
On the other hand, in order to obtain stable rotation, it is desirable that the magnetic flux density of the air gap between the
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems of the prior art, and the object thereof is to realize continuous and stable operation even when some of the plurality of power supply sources are not normal. It is to provide an electric motor drive system that can be used.
An electric motor drive system according to
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided an electric motor drive system provided in a plurality of winding groups provided at symmetrical positions with respect to a rotational axis of a rotor of the electric motor so as to correspond to the winding groups. A motor drive system that supplies power from a plurality of power supply sources, and is normal when any one of the plurality of power supply sources (for example, the
According to the onset bright, in a system driven using a plurality of power supply a multi-phase multi-motor having a plurality of coil groups, when a portion of the power supply source fails, only the normal power supply source in each case reduction operation for driving using a can with electromagnetic attraction force in the radial direction is offset occurring between the stator and the rotor, even when the number of the power supply source is an even number, the magnetic flux even during reduction operation Since the density distribution can be a sine wave , there is little torque ripple, and there is an effect that stable operation can be achieved.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the drawings referred to in the following description, the same parts as those in the other drawings are denoted by the same reference numerals .

The spatial arrangement of the windings is the same as that in FIG. 9, and the fed windings C1 and C3 are mechanically arranged at symmetrical positions with a phase difference of 180 degrees. For this reason, even if only the windings C1 and C3 are fed, the electromagnetic attraction force due to the current of the winding C1 and the electromagnetic attraction force due to the current of the winding C3 cancel each other, and a radial electromagnetic force is generated in the rotor. do not do.

Figure 5 is a schematic block diagram showing a fourth embodiment relating to the present onset bright. In the figure, the only difference is that the windings C1 and C4, the windings C2 and C5, and the windings C3 and C6 are connected in series, respectively. Since the effect in this case is the same as the case of FIG. 4, detailed description is abbreviate | omitted.
In this case, any of the inverters is not normal, and no radial electromagnetic force is generated in the rotor even when the reduction operation is performed. Further, the configuration of the winding group in the case of having a larger number of poles may be a series-parallel connection in which a parallel connection and a series connection are mixed.
The first to fourth embodiments described above are generalized as follows. When driving a motor composed of a plurality of windings using a plurality of multiphase power converters (inverters in the above embodiment), mechanical windings fed from arbitrary phase terminals of the same inverter The phase difference is the same. That is, in the case of FIG. 1, power is supplied to windings C1 and C3 having a phase difference of 180 degrees mechanically from a predetermined phase of the same inverter (for example, inverter 21), and in the case of FIG. Power is supplied to windings C1, C3 and C5 having a phase difference of 120 degrees mechanically from the phase, and in the case of FIGS. 4 and 5, the phase difference is mechanically 180 degrees from a predetermined phase of the same inverter (for example, inverter 21). Power is supplied to windings C1 and C4.
In normal times, power is supplied from all the power converters to the corresponding winding group. When some power converters fail and perform reduced operation, power is supplied only to the winding group corresponding to the power converter only by the normal power converter.
From the above, this system is a system for driving a multi-phase multi-pole motor having N sets of winding groups by a plurality of N sets of multi-phase power converters. A plurality of windings arranged at positions separated by N poles on the winding arrangement of the motor are configured in series, in parallel, or mixed in series and parallel to form a winding group. Power is supplied to the winding group using N sets of power converters, and when some power converters fail, power is supplied only from the normal power converters to the winding groups corresponding to the power converters. It can also be said that this is a featured electric motor drive system.
6 is a schematic configuration diagram showing a fifth embodiment relating to the present onset bright. In the figure, an example of a connection state in the case of driving an 8-pole 3-phase 4-
An
In such a configuration, as in the case of the above-described embodiments, when some of the inverters are not normal, a reduced operation is performed. For example, when the
By controlling in this way, only the windings C2, C4, C6, and C8 arranged every other pole are supplied with power as shown by the solid line in FIG. In other words, the power supply from the inverter that is not normal to the corresponding winding group and the winding group other than the winding group provided at the symmetrical position where the phase difference is the same is stopped. As a result, the magnetic flux density distribution of the electric motor has a sinusoidal distribution similar to that during normal operation in all poles, and not only does radial electromagnetic force not occur, but also abnormal torque ripple does not occur. In the induction motor, it is preferable to control the magnetic flux density to be almost the same as that in the normal operation by doubling the exciting current component flowing in each winding during the reduced operation compared to the normal operation. By controlling in such a manner, the reduction of the maximum output during the reduction operation can be suppressed to the minimum.
By the way, which of the normal inverters should be stopped depends on the winding arrangement and the connection method. Since the phase difference relationship is determined if the winding arrangement and the wiring method are determined, the inverter to be stopped is uniquely determined depending on the position of the inverter that is not normal. For this reason, a logic for determining an inverter to be stopped may be incorporated in the overall control circuit in advance.
As described above, when the number of power supply sources is an even number, when some of the power supply sources are not normal, if all normal power supply sources are continuously operated as they are, the magnetic flux density distribution of the motor is sinusoidal. May not be wavy. Therefore, by stopping a part of the normal power supply source, the magnetic flux density distribution of the electric motor is maintained in a sine wave shape.
From the above, the system according to the fifth embodiment of the present invention is a system for driving a multi-phase AC motor having N winding groups by an even number N sets of multi-phase power converters. The number is a multiple of N, and adjacent windings of the motor are fed from different power converters. Usually, the N sets of power converters are used to feed the motor, and some power converters When one of the power converters breaks down, some of the normal power converters also stop supplying power so that one of the adjacent windings is supplied with power and the other is not supplied with power. It can also be said that the motor drive system is characterized in that power is supplied only to the winding group corresponding to the above.
(Other variations)
In addition, although each said Example demonstrated the example which used the three-phase inverter for the power converter, you may use not only three-phase inverters but arbitrary multi-phase alternating current inverters. Further, the present invention can be applied not only to the inverter but also to various power supply sources such as a cycloconverter. The electric motor is applicable not only to the induction motor but also to the synchronous motor. Further, in each of the above-described embodiments, the example in which the winding configuration of the motor is the delta connection has been described, but it is obvious that the present invention can be applied to the star connection.
The present invention can be used when the electric motor needs to be stably operated even when the power supply source is not normal.
