該圧縮空気供給路から気密室への圧縮空気の供給を制御するバルブと、
エアポンプの駆動及びバルブの開閉の制御を行う制御部と
を備え、
前記制御部が、
時間を計測するタイマと、
圧力センサ用供給路を介して前記圧縮空気供給路の前記バルブの上流側に連通され、該圧縮空気供給路内の圧力を計測する圧力センサと
を含み、
該圧力センサと該タイマを用いて、電源投入時から当該エアマッサージ器の作動終了時までの間に、圧縮空気供給路内の圧力を検知することにより、エアポンプ、バルブ、圧力センサおよび圧力センサ用供給路の少なくとも一つに異常があるか否かを検知し、該異常を検知すると異常モード動作へ移行させるエアマッサージ器において、
