Description

The present invention relates to an inner mirror device for a vehicle.

An inner mirror device for a vehicle includes a stay attached to a windshield or the like in a vehicle compartment, and a mirror for visually confirming the rear of the vehicle is attached to the stay (for example, see Patent Document 1). Such an inner mirror device for a vehicle is configured to satisfy the dropout requirement, which is a legal requirement, and when a load exceeding a predetermined value is applied to the mirror, the mirror rotates with the stay relative to the windshield. It is coming off.

By the way, it is conceivable that such an inner mirror device for a vehicle is covered with a cover extended from a so-called overhead module attached to the ceiling of the vehicle, thereby producing design integrity. However, if the periphery of the mirror is covered with a cover, the above-mentioned dropout requirement cannot be satisfied.
JP 2001-151019 A

An object of the present invention is to obtain an inner mirror device for a vehicle in which a cover can be provided around a mirror and the mirror can be reliably moved when a load is applied in consideration of the above facts.

In order to solve the above-described problem, an inner mirror device for a vehicle according to a first aspect of the present invention is attached to a front upper portion of a vehicle body that constitutes a passenger compartment, and the front upper portion of the vehicle body when a load exceeding a predetermined value is applied. A stay that is moved with respect to the stay, a mirror that is supported by the stay, and that allows an occupant to visually check the rear of the vehicle, and that is attached to the stay and supported by the stay separately from the mirror. Covering the periphery of the stay and the mirror in an exposed state, a movement gap is provided between the front upper part of the vehicle body and allowing the vehicle to move forward on the vehicle body front side. An upper cover that is attached to the front upper part of the vehicle body between the cover main body to be moved, and the front upper part of the vehicle body and the cover main body, so that the cover main body is relatively movable. And over, and the cover main body-side narrow portion provided at the upper end portion of the cover body, and a top cover side narrow portion provided at a lower end portion of the upper cover, and the cover main body-side narrow section The upper cover side narrow portion is disposed so as to overlap each other, and the outer periphery of the cover body and the outer periphery of the upper cover are disposed on the same plane, and the upper end of the cover body narrow portion and the upper cover And between the lower end of the upper cover side narrow portion and the cover body, there is provided a second movement gap that allows the cover body to move upward in the vehicle body .

In the inner mirror device for a vehicle according to the first aspect, the mirror is covered with the cover main body supported by the stay separately from the mirror in a state where the surface is exposed, and has a simple appearance. In addition, an upper cover is attached to the front upper part of the vehicle body between the front upper part of the vehicle body and the cover body, and the cover main body is movable relative to the upper cover. Further, when a load of a predetermined value or more is applied to the stay via the mirror or the cover main body, the stay is moved together with the mirror and the cover main body by the load. At this time, between the cover body and the body front upper, the vehicle body front side of the cover body, the movement gap is provided to allow movement of the vehicle front of the cover body, the cover body by the movement clearance The movement becomes possible, and the stay, the mirror, and the cover main body can be reliably moved.

In addition, a cover body side narrow portion is provided at the upper end portion of the cover body, and an upper cover side narrow portion is provided at the lower end portion of the upper cover, so that the cover body side narrow portion and the upper cover side narrow portion are provided. Since the width portion is arranged so as to overlap each other , the inside thereof is not exposed. Moreover, the inner mirror device for a vehicle can move the cover body upward of the vehicle body between the upper end of the cover body side narrow portion and the upper cover and between the lower end of the upper cover side narrow portion and the cover body. has a second movement gap that, since the cover this body and the upper cover are relatively movable, never covered by the upper cover main body, a mirror, and the movement of the stay is prevented.

Furthermore, since the outer periphery of the cover main body and the outer periphery of the upper cover are arranged on the same plane, the appearance is more integrated.

As described above, in the vehicle inner mirror device of the present invention, by providing a cover around the mirror, it is possible to produce design integrity and to move the mirror reliably when a load is applied. .

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the overall configuration of a vehicle inner mirror device 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention. 2 shows a side view of the configuration of the vehicle inner mirror device 10 as viewed from the direction of arrow A in FIG.

In the figure, the arrow UP indicates the vehicle body upward direction, and the arrow FR in the figure indicates the vehicle body front direction.

The vehicle inner mirror device 10 is configured integrally with a so-called overhead module 12 (hereinafter referred to as an OHM 12) attached to the front side of the vehicle body on the ceiling 11 of the passenger compartment, and constitutes the passenger compartment. A base 16 fixed to a windshield 14 which is an upper front portion of the vehicle body is provided. Note that the front upper portion of the vehicle body includes a portion of the ceiling 11 on the front side of the vehicle body and the overhead module 12 in addition to the windshield 14.

An attachment portion 18A of a stay 18 is attached to the base 16 via, for example, an adhesive or a clip-like member. When a load of a predetermined value or more acts, the stay 18 is detached from the base 16 after being rotationally moved by the load. In this case, the rotation of the stay 18 is configured to be performed around the end on the side opposite to the side on which the load acts at the joint portion between the mounting portion 18A and the base 16. For example, when a load is applied to the stay 18 from the rear side of the vehicle body, the rotational movement of the stay 18 causes the end portion 17 (hereinafter referred to as the rotation center 17) on the front side of the vehicle body at the joint portion between the mounting portion 18A and the base 16. It is performed around.

A plate-like support portion 20 extends from the front end portion of the stay 18 (the lower end portion in FIG. 2) toward the vehicle rear side, and an electric unit 22 is disposed on the upper surface of the support portion 20. It is attached. The electric unit 22 includes a drive shaft 24 that protrudes toward the rear of the vehicle body. A mirror 26 for visually confirming the rear of the vehicle is attached to the tip of the drive shaft 24.

The electric unit 22 rotates the drive shaft 24 by the driving force of a motor (not shown) when a switch (not shown) provided in the vehicle is operated, so that the occupant confirms the rear of the vehicle. The mirror 26 can be turned to an easy position.

Further, the vehicle inner mirror device 10 includes a cover body 28. The cover body 28 has a side wall 28A on the front side of the vehicle body, a side wall 28B on both sides in the width direction of the vehicle body, and a bottom wall 28C on the lower side of the vehicle body, and is formed in a box shape with the vehicle body rear side and the vehicle body upper side opened. The locking claw 30 projecting upward from the bottom wall 28 </ b> C and a locking claw (not shown) are locked to the stay 18, thereby being supported by the stay 18. Note that the side wall 28A and the side wall 28B are formed in an arc shape in plan view as a whole.

The cover main body 28 accommodates the portion on the distal end side of the stay 18, the electric unit 22, and the mirror 26 inside, and exposes the surface of the mirror 26, that is, the mirror surface to the rear side of the vehicle body. That is, the periphery of the mirror 26 is covered with the cover body 28 with the surface exposed.

A movement gap 32 is provided on the front side of the vehicle body of the cover main body 28 so as to enable the movement of the cover main body 28 toward the front side of the vehicle body between the windshield 14 and the load from the rear side of the vehicle body. When the stay 18 rotates and moves to the front side of the vehicle body, the cover body 28 is configured such that a portion of the front side of the vehicle body enters the movement gap 32 as shown by a two-dot chain line in FIG.

An upper cover 34 is provided between the cover main body 28 and the OHM 12. The upper cover 34 has only a side wall 34A on the front side of the vehicle body and side walls 34B on both sides in the vehicle width direction, and an upper end portion is formed integrally with the OHM 12. The side wall 34A and the side wall 34B of the upper cover 34 are formed in a circular arc shape in plan view as a whole, and the upper ends of the side walls 28A and 28B of the cover main body 28 and the lower ends of the side walls 34A and 34B of the upper cover 34 are formed. Are overlapping with the same curvature.

That is, as shown in FIG. 3, a narrow portion 36 is formed by an incision portion 36 </ b> A and an extension portion 36 </ b> B on the outer peripheral side of the upper end portions of the side wall 28 </ b> A and the side wall 28 </ b> B of the cover main body 28. On the inner peripheral side of the lower end portions of the side walls 34A and 34B, a narrow width portion 38 is formed by a cut portion 38A and an extension portion 38B. The narrow width portion 36 enters the extension 38B of the narrow width portion 38, and the upper end portion of the cover main body 28 and the lower end portion of the upper cover 34 are disposed so as to overlap each other. Thereby, the outer periphery of the cover main body 28 and the outer periphery of the upper cover 34 are arranged on the same curved surface, and the inside of the cover main body 28 and the upper cover 34 is not exposed from between the cover main body 28 and the upper cover 34. It is like that.

Further, a moving gap 40 is formed between the cut portion 36A of the narrow portion 36 of the cover main body 28 and the lower end 34A of the upper cover 34, and the cut portion 38A of the narrow portion 38 of the upper cover 34 is formed. A moving gap 42 is formed between the upper end 28 </ b> A of the cover main body 28. For this reason, the cover main body 28 can be moved upward relative to the upper cover 34 within the range of the movement gaps 40, 42, and the rotational movement of the cover main body 34 accompanying the rotational movement of the stay 18 The main body 28 and the upper cover 34 are not disturbed by interference.

That is, for example, when the stay 18 rotates to the front side of the vehicle body due to a load from the rear side of the vehicle body, as described above, the cover body 28 enters the movement gap 32 at the front side of the vehicle body. As indicated by a two-dot chain line in FIG. 2, the portion of the cover body 32 on the front side of the vehicle body is allowed to move upward relative to the upper cover 34 by the movement gaps 40 and 42, and the cover body 32 can be rotated. It is the composition which becomes.

Note that the movement gaps 40 and 42 are such that when the stay 18 rotates and moves to the other side in the vehicle width direction due to a load acting from one side in the vehicle body width direction, a part of the cover main body 34 moves along with the rotational movement of the stay 18. The upper cover 34 is allowed to partially rise, and the cover main body 34, that is, the stay 18 can be rotated and moved to the other side in the vehicle body width direction.

Next, the operation of the embodiment of the present invention will be described.

In the vehicle inner mirror device 10 having the above-described configuration, the mirror 26 is covered with the cover body 28 and the upper cover 34 so that the surface is exposed. The mirror 26 has a uniform appearance, and the stay 18 and the mirror 26. It is difficult for dust and the like to adhere to the back surface of the.

Further, in the vehicle inner mirror device 10, during normal traveling, the base 16 and the mounting portion 18 </ b> A of the stay 18 are in close contact with each other and the mirror 26 is disposed at a normal position.

Here, for example, when the foreign matter S collides with the mirror 26 or the cover main body 28 from the rear side of the vehicle and a load of a predetermined value or more acts on the stay 18, as shown in FIG. The force 18 is overcome and peeled off from the base 16, and the stay 18 is rotated about the rotation center 17 together with the electric unit 22, the mirror 26 and the cover body 28 by the load.

At this time, a moving gap 32 provided between the cover main body 28 and the windshield 14 and a moving gap provided between the cut portion 36A of the narrow width portion 36 of the cover main body 28 and the lower end 34A of the upper cover 34 are provided. 40, the moving gap 42 provided between the notch 38A of the narrow width portion 38 of the upper cover 34 and the upper end 28A of the cover main body 28 enables the cover main body 28 to be rotated, and the stay 18 can be reliably moved. Rotational movement is possible. As a result, the stay 18 is rotationally moved to the state shown in FIG. 5 and then dropped from the base 16 together with the electric unit 22, the mirror 26 and the cover main body 28.

Moreover, in the vehicle inner mirror device 10, the cover body 28 and the upper cover 34 overlap each other at the narrow portions 36 and 38 during normal vehicle travel, so that the inside of the cover body 28 and the upper cover 34 is exposed. It looks good.

Further, in the vehicle inner mirror device 10, during normal vehicle travel, the narrow portion 36 of the cover body 28 and the narrow portion 38 of the upper cover 34 overlap, so that the outer periphery of the cover body 28 and the upper cover 34 are Since the outer periphery is arranged on the same curved surface, it is possible to produce design integrity by presenting an external appearance with a sense of unity.
