Description
本発明の高分子球状鋳型粒子の製造方法に特に好ましく用いられるW/O/W型エマルションを利用した界面鋳型重合法としては、例えば一般式(2)で表されるオレイルリン酸、架橋性単量体及び油溶性重合開始剤からなる油相とジルコニウムを含む水相によりW/O型(水相/油相)エマルションを調整した後、該W/O型エマルションをさらに水相と混合しW/O/W型エマルションの調整を行い、該W/O/W型エマルションで重合反応を行い高分子球状鋳型粒子を製造する方法が挙げられる。
得られた高分子球状鋳型粒子の乾燥収量とジルコニウム塩の使用量から、下記の通りジルコニウム含有量を計算した。
フッ素イオン吸着試験(静的試験)
フッ素イオン溶液50ml(25mg/L、PH3.0)に、高分子球状鋳型粒子をそれぞれ0.2g、0.4g、0.6g、0.8gおよび1.0gを投入し、30℃、24時間かけてフッ素イオンを高分子球状鋳型粒子に吸着させた。フッ素イオンが残存した水溶液をイオン交換クロマトグラフィ(ダイオネクス製DX−120イオンクロマトグラフ)で分析することにより残留したフッ素イオン量を測定した。この試験では吸着したフッ素イオン量(=フッ素イオン溶液中のフッ素イオン量−残留したフッ素イオン量)が高いほど、フッ素イオンの吸着サイトが多いことを示し、性能の高い粒子と言える。
高分子球状鋳型粒子を水中で315μmのふるいで分級し、315μm以上の粒子6.0mlを内径1.5cmのカラムに詰め、上部から下部に空間速度10h−1に設定し、フッ素イオン溶液(25mg/L、PH3.0)を流通させた。カラム体積の15倍のフッ素イオン溶液を通過させた際の流出液内のフッ素イオン量を上記のイオン交換クロマトグラフィを用いて定量した。この試験では流出液中のフッ素イオン量が低いほど、フッ素イオンが粒子に吸着されたことを意味し、性能の高い粒子と言える。
ジオレイルリン酸6.9g、ジビニルベンゼン12.0ml、トルエン33ml、2,2’−アゾビス(2,4−ジメチルバレロニトリル)0.5gおよびソルビタンモノオレート2.6gの均一な親油性溶液と、オキシ塩化ジルコニウム8水塩2.35g(7.3mmol)および純水22.5gの水溶液を混合し、ソニケーターを使用して12分間超音波処理し、W/O型エマルションを調製した。
ジオレイルリン酸6.9g、ジビニルベンゼン12.0ml、トルエン33ml、2,2’−アゾビス(2,4−ジメチルバレロニトリル)0.5g、ソルビタンモノオレート2.6gおよびポリスチレン(重合度2000)0.17gの均一な親油性溶液と、オキシ塩化ジルコニウム8水塩2.35g(7.3mmol)および純水22.5gの水溶液を混合し、ソニケーターを使用して12分間超音波処理し、W/O型エマルションを調製した。
実施例2で重合時間を1.5時間に変更したこと以外、実施例2と同様の方法で合成を行い、ジルコニウムを固定化した高分子球状鋳型粒子を22.2g得た(収率93%)。
実施例2でポリスチレンの使用量を10gに変更したこと以外、実施例2と同様の方法で合成を行い、ジルコニウムを固定化した高分子球状鋳型粒子を22.0g得た(収率92%)。
ジオレイルリン酸6.9g、ジビニルベンゼン12.0ml、トルエン33mlおよびソルビタンモノオレート2.6gの均一な親油性溶液と、オキシ塩化ジルコニウム8水塩2.35g(7.3mmol)および純水22.5gの水溶液を混合し、ソニケーターを使用して12分間超音波処理し、W/O型エマルションを調製した。このエマルションに2,2’−アゾビス(2,4−ジメチルバレロニトリル)0.5gを加え、60℃、120rpmで3時間攪拌して、重合を行った。攪拌終了後、得られた樹脂をアセトンで洗浄、メタノール続いて水で洗浄し、次いで乾燥してジルコニウムを固定化した高分子鋳型樹脂を、粒子状ではなく塊状で21.2g得た(収率89%)。
得られた樹脂は大きな塊で得られたため、樹脂を乾燥後、粉砕してフッ素吸着試験を実施した。静的試験の結果、フッ素吸着量は0.1mg/L未満であり、フッ素イオンをほとんど吸着しなかった。
Claims (9)
- 一般式(1)で表されるオレイルリン酸がジオレイルリン酸であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質高分子球状粒子。
- 架橋性単量体がジビニルベンゼンであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質高分子球状粒子。
- 平均粒径が15〜1000μmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の多孔質高分子球状粒子。
- 孔径0.1〜10μmの貫通孔を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の多孔質高分子球状粒子。
- W/O型エマルションを調製する際のジルコニウムを含む水相がジルコニウム塩水溶液であり、W/O/W型エマルションを調製する際の水相がマグネシウム塩とポリビニルアルコールとの混合水溶液であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の多孔質高分子球状粒子の製造方法。
- 油相に予めポリスチレンを溶解し、W/O/W型エマルションの調製を行い、さらに重合反応終了後に溶剤によりポリスチレンを除去することを特徴とする請求項6又は7のいずれかに記載の多孔質高分子球状粒子の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜5に記載の多孔質高分子球状粒子よりなることを特徴とするフッ素イオン吸着剤。
