Description
Claims (5)
- 患者の体内の植え込み部位にリード(10、60)の遠位固定螺旋構造(70)を位置決めし、固定係合させる導入器システムであって、
近位端(22a)から遠位端(108)へと延長し、前記リード(10、60)を受け取るトルク伝達被覆(102、202)と、
遠位端(88、188)を有し、前記トルク伝達被覆内に位置決めされた前記リードを受け取る外部被覆(82、182)と、
近位方向に延長し、自身上に位置決めされたねじ部分(197)を有する部分から接続部分へと延長するハブ本体(193)とを備え、前記外部被覆(82、182)および前記ハブ本体(193)が、前記外部被覆と前記ハブ本体の接続部分との間に形成された対合ねじ(198)のねじ相互作用を通して固定係合し、さらに、
自身を通る前記リード(10、60)の前進および後退を可能にする第1取っ手位置と、自身内の前記リード(10、60)の近位端と固定係合する第2取っ手位置との間で動作可能である取っ手(110、210)を備え、
該取っ手(110、210)は、自身の長さを通して近位部分(211)から遠位部分(213)へと延長する軸方向内腔(222)を有する取っ手シャフト(112、212)を備え、前記軸方向内腔の前記遠位部分が前記ハブ本体の前記近位方向に延長する部分を受け取るように形成され、
さらに、該取っ手(110、210)は、
前記軸方向内腔(222)の前記近位部分(211)内に位置決めされた第1係合部材(230)と、
前記取っ手シャフト(112、212)から近位方向に後退して、前記第1係合部材(230)をリード(10、60)から係合解除し、前記取っ手シャフト(112、212)に通して前記リード(10、60)が前進できるようにする、前記第1取っ手位置に対応した第1キャップ位置に自身を位置決めし、前記取っ手シャフト(112、212)に向かって遠位方向に前進して、前記第1係合部材(230)を前記リード(10、60)に係合させて、前記取っ手シャフト(112、212)内に前記リード(10、60)を固定係合させる、前記第2取っ手位置に対応した第2キャップ位置に自身を位置決めするキャップ(114、214)と、
前記軸方向内腔の前記遠位部分(213)内に位置決めされ、前記ハブ本体(193)の前記ねじ部分(197)によって形成された溝(201)を通して前進し、前記取っ手シャフトが前記近位方向に延長する部分の周囲で回転するにつれて、前記キャップが前記第1キャップ位置にある場合に、前記取っ手シャフトを遠位方向に前進させる第2係合部材(227)とを備え、
前記トルク伝達被覆の前記近位端(229)が、前記取っ手シャフト(112、212)の前記近位部分(211)内に固定状態で位置決めされ、前記キャップ(114、214)が前記第1キャップ位置にある場合に、前記ハブ本体の前記近位方向に延長する部分の周囲で前記取っ手シャフト(112、212)が回転すると、前記トルク伝達被覆(102、202)を通って前記リード(10、60)にトルクが伝達されて、前記外部被覆本体の前記遠位端から延長する前記固定螺旋構造(70)を前記植え込み部位にねじ込む導入器システム。 - 請求項1に記載の導入器システムにおいて、
さらに、トルク伝達被覆(102、202)を通る流体の近位方向への漏れを密封状態で阻止するシール部材(196)を備え、前記トルク伝達被覆が前記シール部材を通って延長し、前記キャップ(114、214)が前記第1キャップ位置にある場合に、前記取っ手シャフト(112、212)の回転および前進中に前記シール部材(196)を通って密封可能な状態で前進する、導入器システム。 - 請求項1に記載の導入器システムにおいて、
さらに、前記キャップ(114、214)が前記第1キャップ位置にある場合に、前記取っ手(112、212)の前記回転および前進を制御し、前記固定螺旋構造(70)を前進させて、前記外部被覆の前記遠位端(88、188)から所定の距離だけ外側に延長させ、前記植え込み部位で所定の回転数だけ前記固定螺旋構造(70)を回転させる手段を備える、導入器システム。 - 請求項1に記載の導入器システムにおいて、
前記ねじ部分(197)が、第1回転ピッチおよび回転数を有する第1部分(260)、第2回転ピッチおよび回転数を有する第2部分(261)、および第3回転ピッチおよび回転数を有する第3部分(262)を含み、前記第1部分、前記第2部分および前記第3部分が、前記リードのトルク伝達特性に対応する、導入器システム。 - 請求項4に記載の導入器システムにおいて、
前記第1回転ピッチおよび回転数が、前記固定螺旋構造(70)への回転トルクの伝達を阻止する前記外部被覆(82、182)内の前記リード(10、60)の巻き取りを克服するように選択され、前記第2回転ピッチおよび回転数が、前記外部被覆の前記遠位端(88、188)からの前記固定螺旋構造(70)の遠位方向前進を支配するように選択され、前記第3回転ピッチおよび回転数が、前記固定螺旋構造(70)を前記植え込み部位に係合させるために前記固定螺旋構造(70)の回転を実行するように選択される、導入器システム。
