【課題を解決するための手段】
そこで、本発明に係る切断装置は、床面上に固定され、複数の搬送コンベアを相互に平行にかつ長手方向に延びて配列して構成され、複数の各搬送コンベアが長尺ワークを終端側に向けて送り込むようになした搬送ラインと、該搬送ラインの搬送方向終端側に該搬送方向に直交する方向に移動自在に設けられた可動テーブルと、該可動テーブル上に搭載され、上記搬送コンベアによって送り込まれた長尺ワークを切断する切断機と、該切断機と上記搬送コンベアとの間に設けられ、上記送り込まれた長尺ワークを把持するクランプ機構と、を備えたことを特徴とする。
