Claims (3)
- 入力光に対して、波長シフト量Δλの波長シフトを与える波長変換装置であって、
前記入力光を増幅して第1増幅光を生成する第1光増幅器、前記第1増幅光の波長スペクトル幅を広げて第1ファイバ出力光を生成する第1分散フラットファイバ、及び、前記第1ファイバ出力光の所定の波長帯域を透過させて第1波長変換光を生成する第1波長フィルタを有し、前記第1波長変換光の中心波長を、前記入力光の中心波長に対して第1波長シフト量Δλ1だけ変化させる第1波長変換器と、
前記第1波長変換光を増幅して第2増幅光を生成する第2光増幅器、前記第2増幅光の波長スペクトル幅を広げて第2ファイバ出力光を生成する第2分散フラットファイバ、及び、前記第2ファイバ出力光の所定の波長帯域を透過させて第2波長変換光を生成する第2波長フィルタを有し、前記第2波長変換光の中心波長を、前記第1波長変換光の中心波長に対して第2波長シフト量Δλ2だけ変化させる第2波長変換器と
を備え、
前記第1波長シフト量Δλ1及び前記第2波長シフト量Δλ2が、Δλ1+Δλ2=Δλ、Δλ1×Δλ2<0及び|Δλ1|<|Δλ2|を満たす
ことを特徴とする波長変換装置。 - 前記第1光増幅器の入力側及び出力側にさらに波長フィルタを備える
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の波長変換装置。 - 入力光に対して、波長シフト量Δλの波長シフトを与える波長変換方法であって、
第1光増幅器、第1分散フラットファイバ、及び、第1波長フィルタを有する第1波長変換器において、前記入力光の中心波長を第1波長シフト量Δλ1だけ変化させて第1波長変換光を生成する過程と、
第2光増幅器、第2分散フラットファイバ、及び、第2波長フィルタを有する第2波長変換器において、前記第1波長変換光の中心波長を第2波長シフト量Δλ2だけ変化させて第2波長変換光を生成する過程と
を備え、
前記第1波長シフト量Δλ1及び前記第2波長シフト量Δλ2が、Δλ1+Δλ2=Δλ、Δλ1×Δλ2<0及び|Δλ1|<|Δλ2|を満たす
ことを特徴とする波長変換方法。
