Claims (44)
- 通信システムにおいて移動局で行われる基地局アクセス方法であって、
複数の署名系列から署名系列を選択することと;
前記移動局から前記署名系列を使用してアクセス要求を送信することと;
前記アクセス要求に応答し前記選択された署名系列もしくは前記選択された署名系列に関連付けられた署名系列のうちの少なくとも1つで変調されたチャンネル割当てメッセージが基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定することと;
前記チャンネル割当てが受信されていないと決定された場合、前記アクセス要求を再送信することと;
を備えた方法。 - 前記複数の署名系列は、複数の符号系列を備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定することは、前記符号系列を使用するメッセージが前記基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定することを備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定することは、前記署名系列の指示を含むメッセージが前記基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定することを備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定することは、前記移動局によって使用された署名系列を示すフィールドが前記チャンネル割当てメッセージ内にあるかどうかを決定することを備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記複数の署名系列は複数の二値符号系列を備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記基地局からの前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、ランダムな遅延を決定することをさらに備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記基地局からの前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、前記アクセス要求を再送信するための送信パワーを増加することをさらに備える、請求項7の方法。
- 前記基地局からの前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、前記アクセス要求を再送信することは、ランダムな遅延期間の後に前記アクセス要求を再送信することを備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記チャンネル割当てはパワー制御補正値を含み、前記方法は前記パワー制御補正値に基づいて前記移動局からの将来の伝送の送信パワーを調節することをさらに備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記チャンネル割当てメッセージは、低い競合確率を与える予約アクセス・チャンネルの割当てを備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記複数の署名系列は、16個の異なる1msec長の署名を備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記アクセス要求を再送信することは、前記署名系列を使用して前記アクセス要求を再送信することを備える、請求項1の方法。
- 前記署名系列を使用してアクセス要求を送信することは、前記署名系列を使用して変調された前記アクセス要求を送信することを備える、請求項1の方法。
- 複数の署名系列から署名系列を選択するように構成されたコントローラと;
アクセス要求内の前記署名系列を変調するように構成された変調器と;
前記アクセス要求を送信するように構成された送信機と;
を備え、
前記コントローラは、前記アクセス要求に応答し前記選択された署名系列もしくは前記選択された署名系列に関連付けられた署名系列のうちの少なくとも1つで変調されたチャンネル割当てメッセージが基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定するようにさらに構成され、前記送信機は、前記チャンネル割当てが受信されていないと前記コントローラによって決定された場合に、前記アクセス要求を再送信するように構成された、
移動局。 - 前記複数の署名系列は、複数の符号系列を備える、請求項15の移動局。
- 前記コントローラは、前記符号系列を使用するメッセージが前記基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定することによって、前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定する、請求項16の移動局。
- 前記コントローラは、前記署名系列の指示を含むメッセージが前記基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定することにより、前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定する、請求項15の移動局。
- 前記コントローラは、前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定するために、前記署名系列を含んでいるメッセージが前記基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定するように構成された、請求項15の移動局。
- 前記複数の署名系列は、複数の二値符号系列を備える、請求項16の移動局。
- 前記コントローラは、前記基地局からの前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、ランダムな遅延を決定するように構成される請求項15の移動局。
- 前記送信機は、前記基地局からの前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、前記アクセス要求を再送信するための送信パワーを増加するように構成された、請求項21の移動局。
- 前記送信機は、前記基地局からの前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、ランダムな遅延期間の後に前記アクセス要求を再送信するように構成された、請求項15の移動局。
- 前記チャンネル割当てメッセージは、低い競合確率を与える予約アクセス・チャンネルの割当てを備える、請求項15の移動局。
- 前記複数の署名系列は、16個の異なる1msec長の署名を備える、請求項15の移動局。
- 前記送信機は、前記署名系列を使用して前記アクセス要求を再送信するように構成された、請求項15の移動局。
- 前記送信機は、前記署名系列を使用して前記変調されたアクセス要求を送信するように構成される請求項15の移動局。
- 複数の署名系列から署名系列を選択する手段と;
移動局から前記署名系列を使用してアクセス要求を送信する手段と;
前記アクセス要求に応答し前記選択された署名系列もしくは前記選択された署名系列に関連付けられた署名系列のうちの少なくとも1つで変調されたチャンネル割当てメッセージが基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定する手段と;
前記チャンネル割当てが受信されていないと決定された場合、前記アクセス要求を再送信するように構成された送信機と;
を備えた装置。 - 前記複数の署名系列は、複数の符号系列を備える、請求項28の装置。
- 前記決定する手段は、前記符号系列を使用しているメッセージが前記基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定する手段を備える、請求項29の装置。
- 前記決定する手段は、前記署名系列の指示を含むメッセージが前記基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定する手段を備える、請求項28の装置。
- 前記決定する手段は、前記署名系列を含んでいるメッセージが前記基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定する手段を備える、請求項28の装置。
- 前記複数の署名系列は、複数の二値符号系列を備える、請求項28の装置。
- 前記基地局からの前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、ランダムな遅延を決定する手段をさらに備える、請求項28の装置。

- 前記送信機は、前記基地局からの前記チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、ランダムな遅延期間の後に前記アクセス要求を再送信するように構成された、請求項28の装置。
- 前記チャンネル割当てはパワー制御補正値を備え、前記装置は前記パワー制御補正値に基づいて前記装置からの将来の伝送の送信パワーを調節する手段をさらに備える、請求項28の装置。
- 前記チャンネル割当てメッセージは、低い競合確率を与える予約アクセス・チャンネルの割当てを備える、請求項28の装置。

- 前記送信機は、前記署名系列を使用して前記変調されたアクセス要求を送信するように構成された、請求項28の装置。
- コントローラによって使用される命令を備えたコンピュータ読出し可能な媒体であって、前記命令は、
複数の署名系列から署名系列を選択する命令と;
移動局から前記署名系列を使用してアクセス要求を送信する命令と;
前記アクセス要求に応答し、前記選択された署名系列もしくは前記選択された署名系列に関連付けられた署名系列のうちの少なくとも1つで変調されたチャンネル割当てメッセージが基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定する命令と;
前記チャンネル割当てが受信されていないと決定された場合、前記アクセス要求を再送信する命令と;
を備えた、コンピュータ読出し可能な媒体。 - 前記コンピュータ読出し可能な媒体はメモリを備える、請求項42のコンピュータ読出し可能な媒体。
- 前記コンピュータ読出し可能な媒体はプログラム可能な記憶装置を備える、請求項42のコンピュータ読出し可能な媒体。
