Abstract
【解決手段】移動局は一組のランダムアクセス・チャンネルから第一の逆方向リンク共通制御チャンネルを任意に選択することにより基地局をアクセスする。移動局は第一の逆方向リンク共通制御チャンネル上でアクセス・プローブの要求部を送信する。要求部は他の信号との衝突を受けやすい。要求部はハッシュ関数を用いて一意的に識別する数から派生されるハッシュ識別子を含む。ハッシュ識別子はある程度一意的に移動局を識別する。移動局はハッシュ識別子および予約アクセス・チャンネルを指定して基地局からチャンネル割当メッセージを受信する。予約アクセス・チャンネルは低競合確率での通信を提供する。移動局は予約アクセス・チャンネル上でアクセス・プローブのメッセージ部を送信する。

Claims (44)
- 通信システムにおいて移動局で行われる基地局アクセス方法であって、
複数の署名系列の署名系列を選択し、
移動局から署名系列を使用するアクセス要求を送信し、
アクセス要求に応答して、チャンネル割当てメッセージが基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定し、
チャンネル割当てが受信されていないと決定された場合、別のアクセス要求を送信することを含む方法。 - 複数の署名系列が複数の符号系列を含む請求項1の方法。
- チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定することが、符号系列を使用するメッセージが基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定することを含む請求項1の方法。
- チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定することが、署名系列の指示を含むメッセージが基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定することを含む請求項1の方法。
- チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定することが、移動局によって使用された署名を示すフィールドがチャンネル割当てメッセージ内にあるかどうかを決定することを含む請求項1の方法。
- 複数の署名系列が複数の二値符号系列を含む請求項1の方法。
- 基地局からのチャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、ランダムな遅延を決定することをさらに含む請求項1の方法。
- 基地局からのチャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、別のアクセス要求を送信する送信パワーを増加することをさらに含む請求項7の方法。
- 基地局からのチャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されない場合、別の要求を送信することが、ランダムな遅延期間の後に別の要求を送信することを含む請求項1の方法。

コントローラは、基地局からのチャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定するようにも構成され、送信機は、チャンネル割当てが受信されていないとコントローラによって決定された場合に、別のアクセス要求を送信するように構成される移動局。 - 複数の署名系列が複数の符号系列を含む請求項15の移動局。
- コントローラは、符号系列を使用しているメッセージが基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定することによって、チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定する請求項15の移動局。
- コントローラは、署名系列の指示を含むメッセージが基地局から受信されたかどうかを決定することにより、チャンネル割当てメッセージが受信されたかどうかを決定する請求項15の移動局。
