Description

The present invention belongs to the technical field of a film-forming manufacturing apparatus for manufacturing a film-forming molded body used for a vehicle casing or emblem.

In general, some of these types of film-forming molded bodies have an improved design by covering the surface of the member with a material having an effect such as a coloring effect or a reflection effect, such as a part such as an emblem for a vehicle. As this manufacturing method, for example, there is a method in which the surface of a member is formed by coating with a decorative chrome plating film (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Nowadays, hexavalent chromium used for plating is a substance harmful to the human body, and since it causes pollution problems due to environmental pollution, it is subject to regulation and dechromation is required.
As an improvement measure, there is one in which a film is formed on a substrate surface by a film forming apparatus such as vacuum deposition or sputtering, and the surface of the film is covered with a resin material (for example, refer to Patent Document 2). .
However, in such a case, after the injection-molded base material is taken out from the injection molding apparatus, it is set in a vacuum vapor deposition apparatus to form a film, and then the film-formed base material is taken out from the vacuum vapor deposition apparatus and then injected. The number of processes is increased because it is set on the molding machine and injection molding of the resin material on the film forming surface is troublesome, and the work efficiency is not only poor, but also the removal process, the setting process, and the transport process from the equipment to the equipment. At this time, the film-forming surface, as well as the film-forming surface, may be scratched, dusty, or touched and the oil may adhere to it. There is a problem that non-defective products are generated and the yield is poor.
Therefore, when manufacturing a film-formed molded body, one of the first mold and the second mold in which mold surfaces for molding the first and second molded bodies are respectively formed on the mold surface, for example, the first mold A film forming apparatus is provided in the two molds, and between the primary injection process for forming the first and second molded bodies and the secondary injection process for integrating the first and second molded bodies. Proposed to produce a film-formed molded body by providing a film-forming process for forming a film on the first molded body, so that the film-formed molded body can be formed and formed in a series of steps. Thus, workability and yield can be improved (for example, Patent Document 3).
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 6-147069 JP-A-6-169191 WO2004 / 101253A1

By the way, in the conventional film-forming molded body manufactured in a series of steps, the periphery of the molded body can be masked with a mold peripheral portion incorporating a film-forming apparatus, but in the case of an emblem, for example. In order to put a pattern or characters, in the case of a casing, it is required to leave the film in a part of the film formation region so as to ensure insulation. For this reason, in the prior art, the masking body is separately incorporated into the molded body to be masked. However, the separate incorporation of such a masking body is not only troublesome and cumbersome because it needs to be performed using a robot hand, but also has the problem of causing a complicated structure, and the present invention does not solve them. There is a problem.

The present invention was created for the purpose of solving these problems in view of the above circumstances, and includes first and second molds each having a mold surface for forming a molded body. And a second mold is provided with a film forming apparatus configured to form a film on the formed molded body. In the film forming apparatus , the film forming apparatus includes a part of a film forming region of the molded body. In order to provide a masking body for masking, the film forming apparatus is configured to include a plurality of film forming means, and the masking body is located between the plurality of film forming means and protrudes from the bottom surface of the film forming apparatus. The film forming apparatus is characterized in that the support pin 12 is provided at the tip of the support pin 12 so that the support pin 12 does not disturb the film formation and the film formation is not disturbed. .

According to the invention of claim 1, it is not necessary to separately incorporate a masking body, so that the manufacturing process and structure can be simplified, and the masking body can be easily incorporated into the film forming apparatus, and the masking body Good film formation can be achieved without interfering with film formation.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a film-formed molded body. The film-formed molded body 1 is formed by integrating a first molded body 2 and a second molded body 3 formed by a primary injection process in a secondary injection process. The film formed 2a is applied to the first molded body 2 by the film forming process between the temporary injection process and the secondary injection process. The film formed molded body 1 is manufactured. The manufacturing apparatus 4 for this will be described next.

The manufacturing apparatus 4 includes a movable mold (corresponding to the first mold of the present invention) 5 and a fixed mold (corresponding to the second mold of the present invention) 6, and the movable mold 5 is a mold. The molds can move in the direction of separation and parallel movement in the direction along the opposing mold surfaces. On both molds 5, 6, mold surfaces 5a, 6a and 5b, 6b for molding the first and second molded bodies 2, 3 are formed on the mold surfaces 5c, 6c, respectively. The fixed mold 6 is provided with a film forming apparatus 7 for forming a film by vacuum deposition or the like.

In this case, the fixed mold 6 is such that the mold surface 6a for the first molded body 2 to be subjected to the film forming process is sandwiched between the mold surface 6b for the second molded body 3 and the film forming apparatus 7. The film forming apparatus 7 is provided so as to protrude toward the movable mold 5 with respect to the mold surface 6c on which the mold surfaces 6a and 6b are formed. That is, the first molded body mold surface 6a is disposed adjacent to the film forming apparatus 7 and the second molded body mold surface 6b.

。   Further, the film forming apparatus 8 is configured by arranging two sets of film forming means 10 and 11 in a bottomed cylindrical housing case 9 opened on the movable mold 5 side. More than the film formation region (opening periphery of the housing case 9 (which is set to be slightly smaller than the outer periphery of the first molded body 2 and masks the outer periphery of the first molded body 2) 9a The inner part) X is set to form a film from two directions. For example, a vacuum deposition apparatus or a sputtering film forming apparatus is used as the film forming means 10 and 11, and the base end portion of the support pin 12 is fixed between the film forming means 10 and 11. A masking body 13 is detachably fixed to the tip of the support pin 12 by screwing or the like. As will be described later, when the film is formed on the first molded body 2, the masking body 13 contacts (or comes close to) a part of the film formation region X of the first molded body 2 to mask the film formation. It is like that. Needless to say, the number of film forming means is not limited to two, and it is needless to say that one or three or more film forming means can be used. .

Next, the process of film-forming and forming the film-formed molded body 1 will be described with reference to FIGS. First, the movable mold 5 is moved from the state in which the mold surface 5c is opposed to the mold surface 6c of the fixed mold 6 (see FIG. 3 (A)) to move toward the fixed mold 6 and is aligned. A primary injection process in which the first and second molded bodies 2 and 3 are injection-molded in this die-matching state is executed (see FIG. 3B).
Next, the movable mold 5 moves in the mold separation direction. At this time, the first molded body 2 remains on the movable mold 2 side, and the second molded body 3 remains on the stationary mold 6 side (see FIG. 3C). Is set to

Thereafter, the movable mold 5 moves in the direction along the mold surface (leftward in the drawing) so that the first molded body 2 faces the film forming apparatus 7 (see FIG. 3D), and then the mold alignment direction. The mold separation surface from the mold surface 6a of the first molded body 2 that has been moved to step (b) and matched with the film forming apparatus 7 is formed into a film 2a (see FIG. 4A). At this time, the masking body 13 masks a part of the film forming region X of the first molded body 2, so that the non-film forming portion 2 b is formed in the film forming region X.

Then, after the movable mold 5 is moved away from the film forming apparatus 7 (see FIG. 4B), the movable mold 5 is moved in the direction along the mold surface 5c (rightward in the drawing). The first molded body 2 and the second molded body 3 face each other (see FIG. 4C), and in this state, the molds 5 and 6 are matched, and the first and second molded bodies 2, A secondary injection step (see FIG. 4 (D)) in which the three members are integrated with the resin material 8 to manufacture the film-formed molded body 1 is executed, and then the movable mold 5 is moved and formed in the direction away from the mold. The film molded body 1 is taken out and moved in the direction along the mold surface so that the corresponding mold surfaces 5a, 6a and 5b, 6b of the movable mold 5 face each other (left direction in the drawing). By repeating the process, the film-formed molded body 1 can be continuously manufactured.

In the embodiment of the present invention configured as described above, the film-formed molded body 1 includes a primary injection process for molding the first and second molded bodies 2 and 3, a film-forming process for the first molded body 2, and The first and second molded bodies 2 and 3 are manufactured through a secondary injection process that integrates them. In the film forming process, the masking body 13 provided in the film forming apparatus 7 By matching the mold to the first molded body 2, it comes into contact with a predetermined part of the film forming region X of the first molded body 2 and enters a masking state. When the film is formed in this state, the masked portion is not formed. The portion 2b is present in the film formation region X.

As described above, since the masking body 13 is provided in the film forming apparatus 7 in the embodiment of the present invention, masking can be performed only by aligning the film forming apparatus 7, and a separate masking material is used as in the past. There is no need to incorporate. Moreover, since the masking body 13 is detachably provided so as to protrude from the bottom surface of the film forming apparatus 7 via the support pins 12, it can be easily attached and can be removed or replaced when insoluble. It will be easy.

In addition, the masking body 13 is provided at the tip of the protruding support pin 12 between the two film forming means 10 and 11 for film formation from two directions. becomes the way) without such it intends island disturbed film formation 2a with a, it can be a good film formation.

In the above-described embodiment, the masking body 13 is fixedly attached to the support pin 12 fixed to the bottom surface of the film forming apparatus 7. However, the present invention is not limited to this. The masking body may be urged in the tip direction by an elastic machine that is formed in the support pin, and the masking body may be configured to abut against the first molded body in a resilient manner. Therefore, more reliable masking can be performed.
