Description
Claims (16)
- 軸方向に離間した内側面および外側面を有する環状の主フォイルと、
前記主フォイルの外側面において円周方向に支持された波形をなすバンプフォイルと、
前記バンプフォイルと対向する側に位置するように前記主フォイルの内側面において円周方向に支持されたトップフォイルと、
を有し、
前記バンプフォイルおよび前記トップフォイルは、前縁部において主フォイルの外側面および内側面にそれぞれ固定され、
前記トップフォイルから前記バンプフォイルに軸方向の荷重を分散するように、前記トップフォイルと前記主フォイルの内側面との間に平坦なスペーサが配設されることを特徴とする流体軸受。 - 前記スペーサは、後縁部で前記内側面に固定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の流体軸受。
- 前記スペーサの前記後縁部は、前記トップフォイルの後縁部を越えて円周方向に延びることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の流体軸受。
- 前記トップフォイルは、前記前縁部の反対側の後縁部を含むとともに、前記前縁部から前記後縁部に延びて、かつ前記内側面から離れるように漸次的に湾曲する、山状面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の流体軸受。
- 前記スペーサは、前記主フォイルと一体化され、前記内側面から隆起していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の流体軸受。
- 内側面および外側面を有する環状の主フォイルと、
前記主フォイルに固定されたバンプフォイルと、
前記バンプフォイルと対向する側に位置するように主フォイルの内側面において円周方向に支持されたトップフォイルと、
を備え、
前記バンプフォイルが、前記主フォイルの外側面からそれぞれ第1および第2の軸方向高さをなす第1および第2の波形部分を有し、前記第1の軸方向高さは、前記第2の軸方向高さよりも低く、
前記バンプフォイルおよび前記トップフォイルは、前縁部において主フォイルの外側面および内側面にそれぞれ固定され、
前記トップフォイルから前記バンプフォイルに軸方向の荷重を分散するように、前記トップフォイルと前記主フォイルの内側面との間に平坦なスペーサが配設されることを特徴とする流体軸受。 - 前記バンプフォイルは、前記第1の波形部分の近傍で、固定要素によって前記面に固定され、前記第1の軸方向高さが、前記第2の波形部分と前記固定要素との間に構成されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の流体軸受。
- 前記第1および第2の波形部分はそれぞれ、山頂部と谷間部を有し、前記谷間部は前記面と係合し、前記第1の軸方向高さは、第1の山頂部と第1の谷間部との間に規定され、前記第2の軸方向高さは、第2の山頂部と第2の谷間部との間に規定されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の流体軸受。
- 前記第1および第2の波形部分はそれぞれ、各谷間部に対向する一対の山頂部の間に窪み部を有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の流体軸受。
- 前記固定要素は、前記バンプフォイルの前縁部に配置されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の流体軸受。
- 前記固定要素が、スポット溶接であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の流体軸受。
- 請求項1に記載の流体軸受を製造する方法であって、
面を備えた主フォイルを用意するステップと、
前記面を加工して、前記面から隆起したスペーサを設ける加工ステップと、
を有することを特徴とする流体軸受の製造方法。 - 前記加工ステップは、前記面を化学エッチングして前記スペーサを形成することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の流体軸受の製造方法。
- トップフォイルを前記スペーサの上側の前記面に固定するステップを有することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の流体軸受の製造方法。
- 前記スペーサとは反対側で、前記トップフォイルに摩擦防止コーティングを塗布するステップを有することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の流体軸受の製造方法。
- 前記面の反対側にある別の面上でかつ前記スペーサの下側で、バンプフォイルを前記主フォイルに固定するステップを有することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の流体軸受の製造方法。
