【0093】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a sheath material for an endoscope flexible tube, a method for manufacturing an endoscope flexible tube, and an endoscope flexible tube.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In the endoscopy, it is necessary to insert the insertion tube flexible tube to the deep part of the body cavity such as stomach, duodenum, small intestine or large intestine. For this reason, the insertion portion flexible tube of the endoscope has an outer skin of the endoscope flexible tube, thereby improving the ease of insertion operation (flexibility) and reducing the burden on the patient. This prevents liquids such as body fluids from entering the endoscope. Conventionally, an elastic material such as polyurethane resin is generally used as a constituent material of the outer skin of the flexible tube for an endoscope.
[0003]
By the way, since an endoscope is repeatedly used, it is necessary to perform cleaning and disinfection each time. However, the conventional material has poor chemical resistance. For this reason, if the endoscope is repeatedly cleaned and disinfected, the outer skin will deteriorate. And the fall of the softness | flexibility (flexibility) of the outer skin itself of the flexible tube for endoscopes advances, and the problem that it becomes difficult to insert in a lumen arises. In addition, when the deterioration is severe, fine cracks or the like may occur, and the constituent material of the outer skin of the endoscope flexible tube may be peeled off.

For example, the hydroxyl groups at both ends of the product in the above formula may be further bonded to the first molecule and the second molecule via a crosslinking agent. The degree of polymerization can be adjusted by appropriately selecting various reaction conditions such as the blending ratio of each component. Furthermore, when each component is mixed, a reaction for forming a bond between the first molecules or a bond between the second molecules may occur via a crosslinking agent.

For example, the outer skin may be a laminate of two layers or three or more layers. Each layer of such a skin can be composed of materials that have different physical or chemical properties. Thereby, various performances required for the endoscope flexible tube can be simultaneously improved by combining the characteristics of the respective layers of the outer skin.
[0088]
For example, when the outer skin is composed of an inner layer provided on the outer periphery of the core material and an outer layer provided on the outer periphery, by using a material having excellent adhesion to the core material for the inner layer The outer skin can be securely fixed by the core material.
[0089]
In addition, by using a material having excellent elasticity for the inner layer, the inner layer acts as a cushion between the outer layer and the spiral tube, and the elasticity of the flexible tube for endoscope is further improved. it can.
[0090]
Further, when the outer skin is a laminate of a plurality of layers, at least one layer may be made of the outer skin material as described above.
[0091]
The outer skin may be composed of such a laminated body over its entire length, or may be composed of such a laminated body for a part in the longitudinal direction.
[0092]
Moreover, the flexible tube for endoscopes of the present invention can be applied to, for example, a connection portion flexible tube connected to a light source device.
[0093]
【Example】
Next, specific examples of the present invention will be described.
[0094]
1. Manufacture of flexible tubes for endoscopes
Example 1
[0095]
[1.1] Preparation of core material
First, a stainless steel strip having a width of 3 mm was wound around the outer periphery of a cylindrical metal core to produce a spiral tube having an outer diameter of 9.9 mm and an inner diameter of 9.6 mm.
[0096]
Next, a thin stainless steel wire having a diameter of 0.1 mm was prepared. Among these, a coating layer was formed over the entire length of the fine wires with respect to some fine wires. As the constituent material of the coating layer, polyurethane-based elastomer (product name: Pandex, manufactured by Dainippon Ink Chemical Co., Ltd.) 5 wt%, and polyamide-based resin (product name: Daiamide, manufactured by Daicel Huls Co., Ltd.) 95 wt% % Kneaded product was used. The coating layer was formed by extrusion. The average thickness of the coating layer was 0.05 mm.
[0097]
A net-like tube was produced by braiding three wires, each consisting of one thin wire with a coating layer and two fine wires without a coating layer.
[0098]
[1.2] Preparation of skin material
First, as the first molecule, the second molecule, and the cross-linking agent, polyurethane elastomer (product name: Pelecene, manufactured by Dow Chemical Co., Ltd.), polyester elastomer (product names: Hytrel, Toray DuPont ( 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate was prepared.
[0099]
Using a kneader, 0.15 parts by weight of polyurethane elastomer (TPU), 1 part by weight of polyester elastomer (TPEE), and 13 wt% of a crosslinking agent were kneaded for 30 minutes to prepare a skin material. The material temperature at the time of kneading was 210 ° C.
[0100]
[1.3] Covering outer circumference of core material with outer skin material
By covering the outer periphery of the core material with the outer cover material by extrusion molding, the outer cover was formed, and the core metal was removed to obtain a flexible tube for an endoscope having a length of 1.5 m. The outer skin material temperature at the time of extrusion molding was 210 ° C. Moreover, the average thickness of the formed outer skin was 0.3 mm.
[0101]
(Examples 2 to 6)
An endoscope in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the blending ratio (weight ratio) of the polyurethane elastomer, the polyester elastomer, and the crosslinking agent used for the preparation of the skin material was changed as shown in Table 1. A flexible tube was manufactured.
[0102]
(Comparative example)
A flexible tube for an endoscope was manufactured in the same manner as in Example 1 except that no cross-linking agent was used in the preparation of the outer skin material.
For each example and comparative example, the mixing ratio of each component used for the preparation of the skin material is summarized in Table 1.
[0103]
[Table 1]
[0104]
2. Characteristic evaluation of flexible tube for endoscope
[2.1] Flexibility / elasticity test
Flexibility and elasticity tests were performed on the flexible tubes for endoscopes manufactured in the examples and comparative examples.
[0105]
In the flexibility / elasticity test, an operation of supporting both ends of each endoscope flexible tube and bending it by 90 ° was performed, and the flexibility and elasticity at that time were evaluated according to the following four criteria.
A: Excellent in flexibility and elasticity, ideal for use as a flexible tube for endoscopes.
○: Excellent flexibility and elasticity, suitable for use as a flexible tube for endoscopes.
(Triangle | delta): A softness | flexibility and elasticity are a little inferior, and there exists a problem in the use as a flexible tube for endoscopes.
×: Inferior in flexibility and elasticity, not suitable for use as a flexible tube for an endoscope.
Table 2 shows the results of the flexibility / elasticity test.
[0106]
[2.2] Chemical resistance test
A chemical resistance test was performed on each endoscope flexible tube manufactured in each Example and Comparative Example.
[0107]
In the chemical resistance test, each endoscope flexible tube was immersed in N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF) maintained at a temperature of 25 ° C. for 168 hours. This was done by observing the appearance of the outer skin. The case where the outer skin did not dissolve was evaluated as ◎, and the case where the outer skin was dissolved was evaluated as ×.
[0108]
The same test was performed using tetrahydrofuran (THF) and chloroform instead of N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF).
Table 2 shows the results of the chemical resistance test.
[0109]
[2.3] Heat resistance test
A heat resistance test was performed on each endoscope flexible tube manufactured in each Example and Comparative Example.
[0110]
In the heat resistance test, each endoscope flexible tube is repeatedly heat-treated at 130 ° C. for 15 minutes 20 times, and the state of the outer skin of each endoscope flexible tube at that time is observed. And evaluated according to the following four-stage criteria.
A: No change in appearance.
○: Almost no change in appearance.
Δ: It can be seen that the outer skin is deformed.
X: It can be clearly recognized that the outer skin is deformed.
The results of the heat resistance test are shown in Table 2.
[0111]
[2.4] Durability test
Endurance test for the endoscope flexible tube (immersed in DMF) of each example subjected to the chemical resistance test and the endoscope flexible tube of each example subjected to the heat resistance test Went.
[0112]
In the durability test, an operation of supporting the both ends of each endoscope flexible tube and bending it by 90 ° was performed, and the flexibility and elasticity at that time were evaluated according to the following four criteria.
The results of the durability test are shown in Table 2.
[0113]
[Table 2]
[0114]
As can be seen from Table 2, the endoscope flexible tube of the present invention was excellent in chemical resistance and heat resistance. In contrast, the endoscope flexible tube of the comparative example was inferior in chemical resistance and heat resistance.
[0115]
Moreover, the flexible tube for endoscopes of the present invention had excellent flexibility and elasticity.
Further, it was confirmed that excellent flexibility and elasticity were maintained and excellent durability was maintained after the chemical resistance test and the heat resistance test.
[0116]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, an endoscope flexible tube having excellent chemical resistance while maintaining excellent flexibility can be obtained.
[0117]
Moreover, since it is excellent also in heat resistance, the endoscope flexible tube which can repeat steam sterilization etc. can be obtained.
[0118]
In addition, by appropriately changing the blending ratio of each component used for the preparation of the outer skin material, the flexibility of the outer skin can be emphasized, the chemical resistance can be emphasized, and the endoscope flexible tube can be obtained.
[0119]
These effects become more prominent by appropriately selecting the type of the first molecule, the second molecule and the crosslinking agent, the functional group capable of reacting with the hydroxyl group present in the molecule of the crosslinking agent, and the like. .
