本発明は、かかる状況に鑑み検討されたもので、下記(A)〜(D)のステップに基づいてなることを特徴とする天板である。
(A)木質系基材1の一方の端部の裏面に溝3を切削するステップ、
(B)前記溝3から前記端部に至る裏面に接着剤4を塗布して、可撓性基材5を接着し、天板用基材6を得るステップ、
(C)前記天板用基材6の前記可撓性基材5が接着された側を面取り加工するステップ、
(D)化粧材7を、前記天板用基材の表面、面取り加工面、前記可撓性基材5の前記木質系基材1との非当接面側に連続的に接着するステップ。
