Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an illuminated display dial device.
[0002]
[Prior art and its problems]
The present applicant has developed and released a camera equipped with an illuminated display dial device that emits and displays a selected display symbol as a dial device for selecting a photographing mode (trade name “MZ7”). In this illuminated display dial device, a plurality of translucent display symbols are drawn on a display plate fixed to a fixed plate, and LEDs are fixed as light emitting members on the lower surface of each display symbol, and are rotated with respect to the fixed plate. The display symbol of the display board pointed to by the indicator of the rotary operation member supported so as to be capable of dynamic operation is lit and displayed by illumination from the back surface by the LED.
[0003]
However, the conventional illuminated display dial device that fixes LEDs to a display plate fixed to a fixed plate requires LEDs as many as the number of display symbols desired to emit light, which is negative in terms of both simplification of configuration and cost.
[0004]
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a display dial device with illumination that has a simplified structure that leads to cost reduction based on the above problems.

[0006]
The fixed plate can be constituted by, for example, a perforated board having openings at positions corresponding to a plurality of display symbols, and a display board on which display symbols are drawn located on the openings of the perforated board.
A code plate for detecting the rotational position of the rotation operation member is fixed to the back surface of the rotation operation member. The illumination light emitted from the light emitting member fixed to the circuit board by making the code plate annular can pass through the hole formed in the base and enter the light guide member fixed to the rotation operation member. It becomes possible. The illumination light that has entered the light guide member is refracted by the light guide member and guided to the opening of the fixed platen. The illumination light reaching the opening passes through the opening and illuminates the display symbol on the display panel from the back. Since the display symbol of the display panel is formed of a light-transmitting material, it transmits illumination light. For this reason, it is possible to display and display the display symbol by illumination from the back.
[0007]
By using a light guide member having a plurality of reflecting surfaces, it is possible to reflect illumination light emitted from the light emitting member at various angles. Therefore, the light emitting member can be fixed to the circuit board by being positioned at the rotation center of the rotation operation member.
[0008]
By using an LED that emits a plurality of colors as a light emitting member, it is possible to change the color of the illumination light in accordance with the display symbol to be selected, thereby improving discrimination and visibility.

[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
1 and 2 show an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of an illuminated display dial device. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line II-II in FIG.
[0012]
The illuminated display dial device of the present invention includes a fixed plate 20, a pedestal 50 for fixing the fixed plate 20, a circuit board 60 on which the pedestal 50 is fixed and an LED 63a as a light emitting member 63 is disposed, The rotary operation member 30 is supported between the pedestals 50 so as to be rotatable. The rotation operation member 30 has a light guide member 37 on the front surface and a code plate 40 fixed on the back surface.
[0013]
The fixed plate 20 includes a display plate 21 and a perforated plate 22, and the display plate 21 is circular, and display symbols 21 a to 21 f are formed of a translucent material on the same circumference around the rotation center of the rotary operation member 30. Is formed. The perforated board 22 is circular and has openings 22 a to 22 f at positions facing the display symbols 21 a to 21 f of the display board 21. On the back surface of the perforated board 22, a shaft portion 23 projects from the center and the openings 22a to 22f toward the circuit board 60.
[0014]
The rotation operation member 30 has a bottom portion 31 and has a substantially cylindrical shape having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the stationary platen 20. A shaft portion 32 having a shaft hole 33 protrudes toward the circuit board 60 at the center of the bottom portion 31. The light guide 37 a has a substantially L shape having an axially extending portion 38 a extending on the rotation axis of the rotation operating member 30 and a radial extending portion 39 a extending in the radial direction of the rotating operation member 30. The end portion of the axially extending portion 38a constitutes an incident end portion 38c facing the LED 63a fixed on the circuit board 60, and the connecting portion between the axially extending portion 38a and the radially extending portion 39a is 45 with respect to both. A first reflecting surface 38b having a degree is formed. An end portion of the radially extending portion 39a constitutes an emission end portion 39c facing the display symbols 21a to 21f of the stationary platen 20, and a second reflection surface 39b that is parallel to the first reflection surface 38b is formed on the emission end portion 39c. Is formed.
[0016]
The code plate 40 is annular, and a concentric code portion 41 centering on the rotation center of the rotary operation member 30 is formed on the back surface.
[0017]
The pedestal 50 has an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the rotation operation member 30 and has a substantially cylindrical shape whose upper end is closed by a lid 51, and screwed portions at two radial positions from the side surface near the lower end. 52 is protrudingly provided. A shaft hole 53 through which the shaft portion 32 of the rotation operation member 30 is inserted is formed in the center of the lid portion 51. The lid portion 51 has a substantially fan-shaped brush protruding hole portion 54 that extends from the shaft hole 53 in the radial direction. A click pin insertion hole portion 56 through which the click pin 55 is inserted is formed at an arbitrary position corresponding to the click hole 36 of the rotation operation member 30 in a region not having the brush protruding hole portion 54. A click spring 57 is fixed to the bottom surface of the click pin insertion hole portion 56 by screwing a screw 58 into the lid portion 51.
[0018]
On the circuit board 60, the LED 63 a is installed at the rotation center of the rotation operation member 30. The circuit board 60 is provided with a rotational position detecting brush 61, and the rotational position detecting brush 61 protrudes toward the code plate 40 from a brush protruding hole portion 54 formed in the lid portion 51 of the base 50. .
[0019]
The illuminated display dial device of the present embodiment is assembled as follows. The axially extending portion 38 a of the substantially L-shaped light guide 37 a is inserted into the shaft hole 33, and the radially extending portion 39 a is fitted into the light guide member mounting groove 34 and fixed to the rotation operation member 30. The rotation operation member 30 is operated to rotate the tip end portion of the click pin 55 that is inserted into the click pin insertion hole portion 56 of the pedestal 50 and biased by the click spring 57 upward in the figure and protrudes from the click pin insertion hole portion 56. The shaft 30 is inserted into the shaft hole 53 of the pedestal 50 and placed on the pedestal 50 while being accommodated in an arbitrary position of the click hole 36 of the member 30. The fixed platen 20 puts the shaft portion 23 through the hole portion 35 of the rotation operation member 30 and places it on the rotation operation member 30. The screw 24 is screwed into the shaft portion 23 of the fixed plate 20 from the back surface of the lid portion 51 of the pedestal 50 to fix the fixed plate 20 to the pedestal 50. The pedestal 50 having the rotation operation member 30 sandwiched between the stationary platen 20 and the fixed plate 20 projects the rotation position detection brush 61 installed on the circuit board 60 from the brush protruding hole portion 54 to the code plate 40 side. The screw 62 is screwed onto the circuit board 60 from the screwing portion 52 and fixed to the circuit board 60.
[0020]
With the above configuration, the rotation operation member 30 includes the code plate 40 including the light guide 37a and the code portion 41, and is supported between the fixed platen 20 and the base 50 so as to be rotatable. When the rotation operation member 30 is rotated, the emission end portion 39c of the radially extending portion 39a of the light guide 37a fixed to the rotation operation member 30 moves behind the display symbols 21a to 21f. At the same time, the code portion 41 of the code plate 40 fixed to the back surface of the rotation operation member 30 is in sliding contact with the rotation position detection brush 61 disposed on the circuit board 60.
[0021]
The click stop mechanism including the click spring 57, the click pin insertion hole portion 56, the click pin 55, and the click hole 36 rotates the rotation operation member 30 in the radial direction of the light guide 37a fixed to the rotation operation member 30. An emission end 39c of the extended portion 39a is formed so as to be click-stopped on the back surface of each of the display symbols 21a to 21f. When the exit end 39c of the radially extending portion 39a of the light guide 37a is click-stopped on the back of the selected one of the display symbols 21a to 21f, the exit end of the radially extending portion 39a of the light guide 37a is rotated by the rotational position detecting brush 61. The position where 39c stopped is detected. A control circuit in the camera detects a signal from the rotational position detection brush 61 and causes the LED 63a on the circuit board 60 to emit light.
[0022]
The illumination light emitted from the LED 63a enters the light guide 37a from the incident end 38c of the axially extending portion 38a of the light guide 37a inserted into the shaft hole 33 of the rotation operation member 30. The illumination light incident on the axially extending portion 38a is reflected by the first reflecting surface 38b, travels through the radially extending portion 39a, is reflected by the second reflecting surface 39b, and is emitted from the emitting end portion 39c. The emitted illumination light passes through the openings 22a to 22f of the fixed platen 20, and illuminates only one selected display symbol 21a to 21f from the back. Since the display symbols 21a to 21f of the display board 21 are made of a light-transmitting material, the illumination light is transmitted. For this reason, the display symbols 21a to 21f can be lit and displayed by illumination from the back.
[0023]
Since the light guide 37a is fixed to the rotation operation member 30, when the rotation operation member 30 is rotated, the emission end portion 39c of the radially extending portion 39a of the light guide 37a has all the display symbols 21a to 21f. Can move to the back. For this reason, the illumination light which LED63a emitted can reach the back of all the display symbols 21a-21f. Thereby, it becomes possible to illuminate all the display symbols 21a to 21f with a single LED 63a. In addition, by using the LED 63a that develops a plurality of colors by itself, the color of the illumination light can be changed according to the display symbols 21a to 21f to be selected, and the discrimination and visibility are improved.
[0024]
In the above embodiment, the illuminated display dial device of the present invention is applied to a camera. However, the present invention is not limited to this embodiment and can be used for other devices using a dial mechanism. . Moreover, although the light guide was applied to the light guide member and the LED was applied to the light emitting member in the above embodiment, the present invention is not limited to this.
[0025]
