Description
また、装着に要する時間も短時間で済み、挿着後も導光体の位置ずれなどを起こすことがない。
先ず、図5に示すように棒状導光体1のピン部2を設けた端部を、ケース本体3aの開口3bに差し込んで押し下げ、ピン部2を本体3aの凹部7に係合せしめる。このとき棒状導光体1の先端を、ある程度、発光ユニット取付部4の開口部6に入り込ませる。
つまり、導光体に入射した光は屈折して、発光ユニット窓のエッジ延長から約42°以内の角度となり42°外の光は無くなる。したがって、ピンの位置が42°の内か外かで光が当たるか当たらないかが決まる。
である。発光ユニットからの光がピンに当たらなければ特性に影響がなく、発光ユニットからの光がピンに当たれば特性に影響が生じる。
本発明のピン部2は横方向の位置決めを行うために設けられるが、縦方向の位置決めを行うための凸部40を更に導光体に設けると、位置精度が上がるため好ましい。縦方向の位置決め用凸部40の形状は、ケースの凹部と係合したときに横方向に遊びができるような形状とする。例えば図12(a)〜(c)に示すように断面が三角形や台形状とする。縦方向の位置決め用凸部の位置や個数はいくつでもよい。好ましくは横方向の位置決め用凸部の位置よりもLED光源から遠い位置に設ける。LED光源からの距離が遠くなるほど、位置決め用凸部に反射した光が照明装置の光量分布に与える影響が少なくなるため、LED光源からの距離が遠い位置に設けることが好ましい。
Claims (7)
- 上面、底面、両側面、底面と両側面との間の面取り及び両端面からなり、前記両端面の一方を入射面とし前記上面を出射面とした棒状導光体を、前記出射面が露出するようケース内に収納したライン照明装置であって、前記ケースは前記棒状導光体の出射面が露出する開口を形成したケース本体を備え、このケース本体の一端には発光ユニット取付部が設けられ、この発光ユニット取付部には前記棒状導光体の入射面が形成された一端が嵌め込まれる開口部が形成され、また前記ケース本体の前記出射面が露出する開口を形成した上面で発光ユニット取付部寄りの部分には一端が上方に開放された凹部が形成され、また前記棒状導光体の前記両側面の一方で前記発光ユニットに対向する一端寄りの前記上面に近い部分には前記凹部に係合するピン部が側方に突出するように形成され、前記棒状導光体はピン部を設けた端部をケース本体の開口に差し込み、ピン部を前記凹部に係合させ、ピン部を回動中心としてケース本体内に押し下げて収納されることを特徴とするライン照明装置。
- 請求項1に記載のライン照明装置において、前記ピン部は円柱状をなし、前記凹部はU字状をなしていることを特徴とするライン照明装置。
- 請求項1に記載のライン照明装置において、前記ピン部の凹部に対する差込み側は先端に向かって細くなるテーパ面とされていることを特徴とするライン照明装置。
- 請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載のライン照明装置と、ラインイメージセンサと、原稿からの反射光または透過光を前記ラインイメージセンサに収束させるためのレンズアレイを筐体内に組み込んだことを特徴とする密着型イメージセンサ。
- 請求項4に記載の密着型イメージセンサにおいて、前記筐体には前記ケースが一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする密着型イメージセンサ。
- 請求項4または5に記載の密着型イメージセンサを組み込んだことを特徴とする画像読取装置。
- 請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載のライン照明装置と、イメージセンサと、原稿からの反射光または透過光を前記イメージセンサに収束させるためのミラー及びレンズを筐体内に組み込んだことを特徴とする縮小光学系の画像読取装置。
