Description
エチレン、プロピレンおよびその他のオレフィンポリマーに典型的な安定化化合物を、安定剤として用いてもよい。添加量は、0.05〜2重量%の間である。フェノール系安定剤、アルカリ/アルカリ土類金属のステアリン酸塩、および、アルカリ/アルカリ土類金属の炭酸塩が、特に適切である。フェノール系安定剤は、好ましくは、0.1〜0.6重量%、特に0.15〜0.3重量%の量であり、モル質量は500g/mol超である。ペンタエリトリチル−テトラキス−3−(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)−プロピオネート、または、1,3,5−トリメチル−2,4,6−トリス(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシベンジル)ベンゼンは、特に有利である。
適切な粘着防止剤は、無機添加剤、例えば二酸化ケイ素、炭酸カルシウム、ケイ酸マグネシウム、ケイ酸アルミニウム、リン酸カルシウム等、および/または、不相容性ポリマー、例えばポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA) ポリアミド、ポリエステル、ポリカーボネートであり、なかでも、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、二酸化ケイ素および二酸化炭素が好ましい。粘着防止剤の有効量は、特定の上層に対して、0.1〜2重量%、好ましくは0.1〜0.5重量%の範囲である。EP−A−0236945、および、DE−A−3801535で説明されているように、平均粒度は、1〜6μm、特に2〜5μmの間であり、粒子の形状は球状のものが特に適切である。
この方法の際に、本フィルムの個々の層に対応するメルトを、シートダイを通過して共押出し、このようにして得られたフィルムを引き出して1またはそれ以上のロール上で固化させ、それに続いて、このフィルムを延伸し(配向させる)、延伸されたフィルムを熱固定し、場合によっては、処理のために提供された表面層上をプラズマ、コロナまたはフレーム処理する。
メルトフローインデックス
メルトフローインデックスを、DIN53735に従って、21.6Nのロード、230℃で測定した。
光学密度は、所定の光線の透過度の測定値である。測定は、東芝アソシエイツ社(Tobias Associates Inc.)製のタイプTCXのデンシトメーターを用いて行われた。光学密度は、寸法なしで特定される相対値である。
DIN53122第2部に従って、水蒸気透過性を決定した。索引番号DIN53380第3部に従って、周囲湿度約50%で、酸素バリア効果を決定した。
コポリマーのエチレン含量を、13C NMR分光分析を用いて決定した。ブルカー・アバンス360(Bruker Avance360)の原子共鳴分光装置を用いて、測定を行った。特徴付けようとするコポリマーをテトラクロロエタンに溶解させ、10%混合物を得た。参照標準として、オクタメチルテトラシロキサン(OTMS)を添加した。原子共鳴分スペクトルを120℃で測定した。J.C.Randall Polymer Sequence Distribution (アカデミック・プレス(Academic Press),ニューヨーク,1977年)で説明されているようにスペクトルを解析した。
融点および融解エンタルピーを、DSC(示差走査熱量測定)測定(DIN51007、および、DIN53765)を用いて決定した。特徴付けようとする原材料の数ミリグラム(3〜5mg)を、示差熱量計で、加熱速度20℃/分で加熱した。熱出納を温度に対してプロットし、融点は、融解曲線の最大値として決定し、融解エンタルピーは、特定の溶融ピーク面積として決定した。
密度を、DIN53479の方法Aに従って決定した。
表面張力
表面張力を、DIN53364によるインク方法によって決定した。
共押出し法に従って、シートダイから、240〜270℃で、5層の前駆フィルムを押出した。まず、この前駆フィルムを冷却ロール上に引き出し、冷却した。その後、前駆フィルムを縦および横方向に配向させ、最終的に固定した。第一の上層の表面をコロナを用いて前処理し、表面張力を高めた。5層のフィルムの層構造は、第一の上層/第一の中間層/ベース層/第二の中間層/第二の上層である。本フィルムの個々の層の組成は、以下の通りである:
第一の上層(0.5μm):
〜100重量%のエチレン−プロピレンコポリマー、そのエチレン比率は、1.7重量%(コポリマーに対して)、融点は155℃;および、メルトフローインデックスは、230℃、2.16kgロード(DIN53735)で8.5g/10分であり、融解エンタルピーは、96.9J/gである。
〜100重量%のプロピレンホモポリマー(PP)、そのn−ヘプタンの可溶性率は、約4重量%(100%のPPに対して)、融点は、163℃;および、メルトフローインデックスは、230℃、2.16kgロード(DIN53735)で、3.3g/10分である。
91.6重量%のプロピレンホモポリマー(PP)、そのn−ヘプタンの可溶性率は、約4重量%(100%のPPに対して)、融点は、163℃;および、メルトフローインデックスは、230℃、2.16kgロード(DIN53735)で、3.3g/10分、6.0重量%の炭酸カルシウム、平均粒径は約2.7μm、2.4重量%の二酸化チタン、平均粒径は0.1〜0.3μm。
96.4重量%のプロピレンホモポリマー(PP)、そのn−ヘプタンの可溶性率は、約4重量%(100%のPPに対して)、融点は、163℃;および、メルトフローインデックスは、230℃、2.16kgロード(DIN53735)で、3.3g/10分、3.6重量%の二酸化チタン、平均粒径は0.1〜0.3μm。
99.7重量%のエチレン−プロピレンコポリマー、そのエチレン比率は、4重量%(コポリマーに対して)、融点は、136℃;および、メルトフローインデックスは、230℃、2.16kgロード(DIN53735)で、7.3g/10分である、融解エンタルピーは、64.7J/g、0.1重量%の粘着防止剤、その平均粒径は約4μmである(Sylobloc45)。
特に、フィルムを製造する場合に、以下の条件および温度を選択した:
押出し:押出し温度約250〜270℃、
冷却ロール:温度30℃、
縦延伸:T=120℃、
係数5で縦延伸する、
横延伸:T=160℃、
係数9で横延伸する、
固定:T=100℃。
実施例1に従ってフィルムを製造した。実施例1とは異なり、第二の中間層にはTiO2を含んでいなかった。残りの層の組成と製造条件に変更はない。
不透明フィルムを、実施例1に従って製造した。実施例1とは異なり、第一の中間層を省略した、すなわち第一の上層をベース層の表面に直接施用した。
不透明フィルムを、実施例1に従って製造した。実施例1とは対照的に、第一の上層には典型的なプロピレンコポリマーを用いた:
第一の上層(0.5μm):
〜100重量%のエチレン−プロピレンコポリマー、そのエチレン比率は、4重量%(コポリマーに対して)、融点は、136℃;および、メルトフローインデックスは、230℃、2.16kgロード(DIN53735)で、7.3g/10分、融解エンタルピーは、64.7J/gである。
実施例2と同様にしてフィルムを製造した。実施例2とは異なり、ベース層には空隙導入充填剤とTiO2を含んでおらず、第二の中間層もTiO2を含んでいなかった。中間層とベース層をプロピレンホモポリマーだけで製造したため、3層フィルムが得られた。
Claims (19)
- 金属化され共押出しされ多層化された、空隙を含むベース層を備えた、包装用の二軸延伸ポリプロピレン多層フィルムであって、この空隙を含むベース層は、1またはそれより多い被覆層で被覆されており、この被覆層の厚さは、総計で少なくとも3μmであり、この被覆層の外部表面は金属化されており、そしてこの金属化フィルムは、38℃、相対周囲湿度90%で0.5g/m2・日以下の水蒸気透過性、50cm3/m2・日・バール以下の酸素透過性を有する、前記フィルム。
- 前記被覆層は、前記ベース層に、第一の上層(トップ層)として施用されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記被覆層が、前記ベース層に、第一の中間層および第一の上層として施用されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記被覆層が、少なくとも80重量%のプロピレンホモポリマー、エチレンホモポリマー、コモノマーが3重量%未満のプロピレンコポリマー、または、コモノマーが3重量%未満のエチレンコポリマー、または、これらポリマーの混合物を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のフィルム。
- 前記プロピレンコポリマーのコモノマーは、エチレンまたはブチレンであることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のフィルム。
- 前記プロピレンコポリマーは、エチレン含量が2.5重量%未満、融点が150〜160℃のプロピレン−エチレンコポリマーであることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のフィルム。
- 前記プロピレンホモポリマーは、融点が159〜162℃のアイソタクチックプロピレンホモポリマー、または、アイソタクチシティが97%超の高度にアイソタクチックなプロピレンホモポリマー、または、メタロセン触媒を用いて製造されたプロピレンホモポリマーであることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のフィルム。
- 前記ベース層は、プロピレンホモポリマーから合成され、2〜15重量%の空隙導入充填剤を含み、0.45〜0.85cm3/gの密度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のフィルム。
- 前記金属化されたフィルムの光学密度は、少なくとも2.0であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のフィルム。
- 光学密度が2.5〜5であることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のフィルム。
- プロピレンホモポリマー、ポリエチレンホモポリマー、または、プロピレンコポリマーおよび/またはプロピレンターポリマーで製造された第二の上層を含み、この第二の上層が、前記第一の上層が存在する前記ベース層の側と反対側に付着していることを特徴とする、請求項2又は3に記載のフィルム。
- 前記第二の上層はシール可能であり、その厚さは0.3〜4μmであることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載のフィルム。
- 前記第二の中間層が、前記ベース層と、前記第二の上層との間に付着されることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載のフィルム。
- 前記第一の上層の厚さは、4〜8μmであることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のフィルム。
- 前記第一の中間層の厚さは、少なくとも3.5μmであり、前記第一の上層の厚さは、少なくとも0.5μmであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のフィルム。
- 前記第一の中間層の厚さは、4〜10μmであり、前記第一の上層の厚さは、0.8〜3μmであることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載のフィルム。
- 水蒸気および酸素に対するバリアを有するパッケージを製造するための、請求項1〜16に記載のフィルムの使用。
- ラミネートを製造するための請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載のフィルムの使用であって、前記フィルムの金属化された側は、さらなるポリプロピレンフィルム、または、ポリエチレンフィルムに対してラミネートされることを特徴とする、前記使用。
- 金属化しようとする不透明フィルムの表面を、金属化の前に直接プラズマを用いて処理することを特徴とする、請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載のフィルムの製造方法。
