本発明は、上記目的を達成するために,回路遮断器の機構を収容したケースと、ケースを覆うカバーと、カバーの開口孔から突出し、回路遮断器の機構と連動して開口孔内で転動させることにより回路遮断器を開閉させるハンドル部から構成された回路遮断器の前記ハンドル部を、開路位置もしくは閉路位置に固定するためのハンドル位置固定装置であって、該ハンドル位置固定装置は、ハンドル被装枠部と該ハンドル被装枠部から延出する係止片からなり、被装枠部はハンドル部の転動軌跡を含む面と平行な面のひとつが開口されるとともに前記ハンドル部に設けられた転動軌跡を含む面と直交する方向に形成された肉ぬすみ穴の深さに応じて長く設けられ、該肉ぬすみ穴に嵌合可能に突設された嵌まり込み突部と、前記ハンドル部の転動軌跡を含む面と直交する方向に抜けることを防止した開口側に設けられた係合突起からなる抜け止め手段とを有し、前記係止片は先端が前記開口孔の端縁とハンドル部との間に嵌り込むよう折り曲げて形成されて、前記嵌り込み突部と前記係止片が夫々前記肉ぬすみ穴と前記端縁に係止されることにより前記ハンドル位置固定装置単体で該ハンドル位置固定装置のハンドル転動方向への動きを抑制し、被着時は、ハンドル部の転動軌跡を含む面と直交する方向からハンドル部に被着して前記係止片と嵌り込み突部がカバーに対するハンドル部の位置を固定するようにしたものである。
