昇降路を昇降する昇降搬器と、
前記昇降路の両側に複数の駐車室を階層状に備え、前記昇降搬器に車両を搭載したパレットを所定の駐車室に向けて昇降及び横行して、パレットと共に車両を駐車室へ格納するようにしたエレベータ式駐車装置において、エレベータ式駐車装置に取り付けた地震感知器と、
該地震感知器の信号を入力するエレベータ式駐車装置を運転操作するための制御装置と、
該制御装置の出力で動作するアクチェータと、
該アクチェータの動作に連動して駐車室に前記パレットを係止するロック装置とよりなり、
前記ロック装置は、
それぞれの前記駐車室に設けられたロックプレートと、
上下方向に配設されて、縦方向に併置された前記駐車室におけるそれぞれの前記ロックプレートが連結されたワイヤと、
前記アクチュエータによって作動すると共に前記ワイヤの一端が連結された連結部材とを備え、
前記パレットには、前記ロックプレートの下方に位置して設けられて、前記ロックプレートの一部が係合される形状に形成された切欠部を設け、
前記地震感知器が地震を感知して信号を制御装置に出力すると、該制御装置によりアクチェータを動作させ、
該アクチュエータの作動によって前記連結部材が作動して該連結部材と前記ワイヤの連結状態が解除されて、
前記ワイヤは下方に降下し、前記ロックプレートが前記切欠部に係合させて、前記駐車室からの前記パレットの前記昇降路への逸走、さらに前記昇降路へ転落を防止するようにしたことを特徴とする立体駐車装置の地震被害防止装置。
