Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a remote control device (remote control device) for operating other air conditioners, water heaters, bathroom heaters and dryers using infrared rays by a battery housed therein, The present invention relates to a waterproof remote control device that requires waterproof performance for reasons such as in a bathroom or outdoors.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Various waterproof structures have been proposed for the battery housing portion of the conventional waterproof remote control device, and the outline is as follows.
(1) The lid of the battery storage unit has a waterproof structure with a face seal by packing. (JP-A-10-285670, JP-A-9-116986, etc.)
(2) A battery housing part and a fitting part of the lid are made circular, and the lid is screwed in so that the O-ring is brought into close contact with the waterproof structure. (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-331584)
(3) A lid is fitted into the battery housing portion, and when the lid is pushed in, a packing is brought into close contact with the wall of the battery housing portion to form a waterproof structure. (Act No. 61-181470)
[0003]
Similarly, various waterproof structures have also been proposed for transmitters such as infrared rays of the waterproof remote control device, and the outline is as follows.
(4) A structure in which the periphery of the element of the infrared transmitter and the periphery of the outer box are made waterproof by packing. (Act No. 6-77386)
(5) A light emitting part cover is joined to the corner of the outer box (case body) by ultrasonic welding to form a waterproof structure. (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-331584)
(6) A cap (bottomed cylindrical shape) made of a light transmitting material is fitted into an outer box (casing), and a waterproof structure is formed by packing (seal material) in the overlapping portion. (Act No. 61-181470)
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional waterproof remote control device has the following problems.
a. With regard to the waterproof structure of the battery compartment, it is easy to open and close when replacing the battery with the face seal as in (1), but it is necessary to hold down the seal face evenly, and the waterproof performance is easy depending on the deformation of the outer box There was a problem of being lost.
[0005]
b. In addition, the structure of the battery housing part of (2) and (3) is excellent in waterproof performance regarding deformation of the outer box, etc., but when replacing the battery, it is possible to remove the lid that pushes in the O-ring or packing. There is a problem that it is difficult and it is difficult to attach the O-ring or the packing so as not to be damaged by pushing or screwing the lid.
[0006]
c. Next, as for the waterproof structure of the infrared transmitter, as shown in (4), the outer periphery of the cylindrical infrared transmitter and the outer box are closely attached with an O-ring or packing to form a waterproof structure. Since the infrared transmitter is exposed to the outside, the infrared transmitter is easily moved by a user or the like, and there is a problem that the waterproof performance is impaired because a gap is formed between the packing and the outer box. It was. In addition, since the outer box incorporates a control board inside, it is divided into two exterior materials that divide the widest surface and surface of the outer box, and the O-ring or packing contact surface is on this joint line. If it is provided, there is a problem that the waterproof performance is likely to be further lowered.
[0007]
d. As for the waterproof structure of the infrared transmitter of (5), since the light emitting part cover and the outer box are joined by ultrasonic welding, it is not easy to assemble, and the light emitting part cover needs to have a predetermined thickness and strength. There was a problem of becoming.
