【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、フォークリフト、建設機械等の産業車両に適用され、車両の後進走行時に前後進切換レバーの後進切換えに従いアラーム音を発生し、該アラーム音をスピーカを介して発信する産業車両のアラーム音発信装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
フォークリフトは、工場内や屋内外の荷役場所での稼働時に後進走行する頻度がきわめて多いが、かかる後進走行時において人や物体への衝突事故を発生する割合が前進走行時よりもはるかに多い。
通常、バックアラームブザーは、一定の音圧の音を一定の周波数でフォークリフト後部に取り付けられたスピーカから発信して、車両後部や側部にいる人間に伝達し注意を促すようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
かかるフォークリフトの稼働時において、車両と人や物体との衝突事故は、統計によれば、フォークリフトが前後進切換レバーを後進に切換えて後進走行を開始した直後の概ね5秒間程度の時間帯に、最も多く発生している。
この原因の一つとして、後進走行時にスピーカから発信されるバックアラームブザーは後進走行中常時一定の周波数かつ一定の音圧であるため、車両後部や側部にいる人間には耳慣れてしまい、後進開始直後と連続後進走行中との区別がつき難くなって、車両の走行方向が前進から後進に変化したことに対して格別な注意を払わなくなっていることがあげられる。
しかしながら、現状では、前記のような後進開始直後における事故発生原因に対する有効な解決策は提案されていないのが実情である。

本発明は、かかる従来技術の課題に鑑み、フォークリフト等の産業車両において、後進走行時に発信されるアラーム音の内容及び該アラーム音の発信手段を改良することにより、特に車両の後進開始直後における車両と人や物体との衝突事故の発生を防止し、安全な後進走行を実現できる産業車両のアラーム音発信装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明はかかる課題を解決するため、請求項1記載の発明として、車両の後進走行時に前後進切換レバーの後進切換えに従いアラーム音を発生し、該アラーム音をスピーカを介して発信する産業車両のアラーム音発信装置において、前記車両の後進発走時点から一定期間、高周波数の高周波アラーム音を発生せしめて前記スピーカに送り、該高周波のアラーム音の前記スピーカからの発信後には前記高周波アラーム音よりも周波数の低い1種類または複数種類の低周波アラーム音を発生せしめて前記スピーカに送るアラーム音発生手段を備えたことを特徴とする産業車両のアラーム音発信装置を提案する。

請求項2記載の発明は、請求項1において、前記高周波アラーム音及び低周波アラーム音の前記スピーカからの発信時間を設定するタイマ装置と、該タイマ装置にて設定された時間中前記高周波アラーム音及び低周波アラーム音を連続的に発信する発振装置とよりなることを特徴とする。

これにより、アラーム音によって車両後部や側部にいる人間に注意を払わせることができて、車両の接近を確実に認知させることができ、車両と人との衝突事故の発生を減少することができる。

本発明は、前記フォークリフトの後進走行時に前記スピーカ5から発信されるアラーム音の発生及び発信制御手段に係るものであり、その第1実施例を示す図1において、1は前記前後進切換レバー、2は該前後進切換レバー1の後進切換と同時に後述するタイマ装置3の作動を指令するタイマ作動指令装置である。

これらのアラーム音は前記スピーカ5に伝達され、該スピーカ5からフォークリフトの周囲に発信される。
尚、前記発振装置4aからの高周波数のアラーム音(図5(A))の発信から、前記発振装置4cからの低周波数のアラーム音(図5(C))の発信に移り、前記発振装置4bからの中間周波数のアラーム音(図5(B))の発信は省略しても良い。
