Description
In the present invention, after reforming the hydrogen-containing fuel to obtain a reformed gas, unnecessary substances are removed from the reformed gas to purify the hydrogen-rich hydrogen gas, and the hydrogen gas is used as a stationary fuel cell and The present invention relates to a hydrogen gas production power generation system supplied to a fuel cell vehicle and an operation method thereof.
For example, after reforming a hydrocarbon fuel such as natural gas or a hydrogen-containing fuel containing alcohol such as methanol to obtain a hydrogen-containing gas (reformed gas), the hydrogen-containing gas is purified to obtain a high-purity hydrogen gas. A hydrogen production apparatus is employed to supply fuel cells (power generation units) and the like.
In hydrogen production equipment, steam fuel reforming of hydrocarbon fuels such as natural gas and city gas produces a hydrogen-containing gas that is a high-concentration hydrogen-rich gas. The high-purity hydrogen is separated from the hydrogen-containing gas via
As this type of hydrogen production apparatus, for example, a technique disclosed in
Hydrogen stored in the buffer device 6 is supplied to the
Recently, a stationary fuel cell is used as a power source for household use, and hydrogen gas obtained by reforming and purifying fuel such as city gas, LPG, kerosene, etc. is supplied to the stationary fuel cell, and the hydrogen gas is supplied to a fuel cell vehicle. A hydrogen gas production power generation system for filling a high-pressure tank has been developed.
Therefore, when the power generation device of
However, the fuel cell vehicle is provided with a high-pressure tank that is filled with hydrogen gas at a considerably high pressure in order to ensure a desired travel distance. In order to fill the high-pressure tank with the hydrogen gas, a buffer device 6 is provided. The hydrogen gas filled inside must be maintained at a fairly high pressure. On the other hand, the hydrogen gas supplied to the
Therefore, the buffer device 6 must be maintained at a high pressure at all times so that the high-pressure tank of the fuel cell vehicle can be filled with hydrogen gas. When the hydrogen gas is supplied to the
Furthermore, for example, immediately after the reformer 2 is started or when the
The present invention solves this type of problem, and supplies hydrogen gas to a stationary fuel cell and a fuel cell vehicle in a good and efficient manner, and can use the hydrogen gas economically. An object is to provide a production power generation system.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a method of operating a hydrogen gas production power generation system that can reliably supply high concentration (high purity) hydrogen gas to a fuel cell vehicle with simple control.
The present invention includes a reformer that reforms a hydrogen-containing fuel to obtain a reformed gas, a hydrogen purifier that purifies high-purity hydrogen gas by removing unnecessary substances from the reformed gas, and the hydrogen gas as well as storage, the first hydrogen storage device for supplying the hydrogen gas to the stationary fuel cell, the first hydrogen storage unit the destination of the hydrogen gas hydrogen purity is less than the predetermined value, the hydrogen purity And a control device that controls switching of the supply destination of the hydrogen gas that is equal to or greater than a predetermined value to the second hydrogen storage device.
In addition, a hydrogen concentration detection device that detects the purity of the hydrogen gas purified by the hydrogen purification device is provided, and the control device detects the first hydrogen when the hydrogen purity detected by the hydrogen concentration detection device is less than a predetermined value. While supplying the hydrogen gas only to the storage device, it is preferable to control to supply the hydrogen gas to the second hydrogen storage device when the hydrogen purity is equal to or higher than a predetermined value . Thereby, high purity hydrogen gas can be reliably stored in the second hydrogen storage device.
Furthermore, the hydrogen concentration detection device preferably estimates the hydrogen concentration based on the operating parameters. The operation parameters include, for example, the time from the start of operation, the temperature in the system, the pressure in the system, or the operation stop time of the hydrogen purifier.
A first flow path that communicates the hydrogen purification apparatus and the first hydrogen storage apparatus; a second flow path that communicates the hydrogen purification apparatus and the second hydrogen storage apparatus; and the first and second flow paths. It is preferable to include a flow path switching device that allows the flow path to communicate and supply hydrogen gas having high hydrogen purity from the second hydrogen storage device to the stationary fuel cell via the first hydrogen storage device.
Furthermore, the present invention includes a reformer for obtaining a reformed gas by reforming a hydrogen containing fuel, and hydrogen purification device for purifying the high purity hydrogen gas to remove unwanted material from the reformed gas, the hydrogen A first hydrogen storage device for storing the gas and supplying the hydrogen gas to a stationary fuel cell; and storing the hydrogen gas at a pressure higher than that of the first hydrogen storage device; A method for operating a hydrogen gas production power generation system including a second hydrogen storage device directly connected to a hydrogen dispenser for supplying gas.
Therefore, first, the purity of the hydrogen gas purified by the hydrogen purifier is detected, and the hydrogen gas is supplied only to the first hydrogen storage device when the detected hydrogen purity is less than a predetermined value . On the other hand, when the detected hydrogen purity is equal to or higher than a predetermined value , hydrogen gas is supplied to the second hydrogen storage device.
In the present invention, a first hydrogen storage device for supplying hydrogen gas to a stationary fuel cell, and a second hydrogen storage device directly connected to a hydrogen dispenser for supplying the hydrogen gas to a fuel cell vehicle, Since it is provided individually, the hydrogen gas stored in the first hydrogen storage device can be supplied to the stationary fuel cell until the internal pressure reaches substantially zero. Therefore, hydrogen gas can be efficiently supplied to the stationary fuel cell, and the hydrogen gas can be used economically.
Further, in the present invention, it is possible to reliably supply a high concentration of hydrogen gas to the second hydrogen storage device, thereby eliminating the hydrogen supply that would interfere with the power generation system of the fuel cell vehicle, It is economical without discarding hydrogen gas.

The household hydrogen gas production power generation system 10 supplies hydrogen-containing fuel, for example, hydrocarbon fuel such as methane or propane (hereinafter also referred to as reforming fuel), and hydrogen-rich gas (hereinafter referred to as reforming fuel) by reforming reaction of the reforming fuel.
A

The home hydrogen gas production power generation system 10 communicates with and controls each auxiliary device, and in the first embodiment, in particular, switches the hydrogen gas supply destination between the
The operation of the household hydrogen gas production power generation system 10 configured as described above will be described below along the flowchart shown in FIG. 2 in relation to the operation method according to the first embodiment.
In the domestic hydrogen gas production power generation system 10, the operation is started via the
As described above, the reformed gas reformed by the
A hydrogen
On the other hand, if it is determined that the hydrogen purity is equal to or higher than the predetermined value (NO in step S2), the process proceeds to step S4, where the
Next, the hydrogen gas stored in the
Further, the hydrogen gas stored in the filling
In the
In this case, in the first embodiment, the
Accordingly, by providing a
Furthermore, in the first embodiment, the hydrogen purity of the hydrogen gas sent from the
For this reason, the hydrogen gas filled in the fuel cell vehicle is always reliably maintained at a high purity (high concentration), and the low purity hydrogen gas is supplied to the fuel cell vehicle, causing a problem in the power generation system. There is no need to exhaust hydrogen gas at a low concentration, and there is an advantage that it is economical.
In the domestic hydrogen gas production power generation system 10, hydrogen gas is supplied from the
FIG. 3 is a schematic configuration diagram of a domestic hydrogen gas production power generation system 60 for carrying out the operation method according to the second embodiment of the present invention. In addition, the same referential mark is attached | subjected to the component same as the household hydrogen gas production power generation system 10 which concerns on 1st Embodiment, and the detailed description is abbreviate | omitted.
In the second embodiment, as a control device that estimates the hydrogen concentration from the operation parameters and switches the supply destination of the hydrogen gas to the
Here, the operation parameter is a parameter related to various operation situations that may affect the concentration of the hydrogen gas to be purified. For example, the time from the start of operation, the temperature in the system, the pressure in the system, or the
In the second embodiment configured as described above, an operation parameter related to the handling situation of the domestic hydrogen gas production power generation system 60 is detected via the control ECU 62 (step S11 in FIG. 4). Then, the
On the other hand, if it is determined that the operation parameter is within the set range (NO in step S12), it is estimated that the purity of the hydrogen gas is equal to or higher than a predetermined value, and the process proceeds to step S14, where hydrogen is charged into the filling
