Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rubber crawler used in an environment with severe use conditions such as a construction machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, rubber crawlers are widely used in construction machines and the like, but there are many cases where unevenness and sharp protrusions are scattered on the road surface and work ground. The rubber crawler in such a severe place is peeled off by cut scratches and fatigue, and the internal steel cord is exposed, causing the steel cord to be cut. Since this distortion is concentrated on the cored bar embedded in the rubber crawler and the steel cord string existing inside the steel cord string, the width of the cored bar projection area in the width direction of the rubber crawler and its vicinity The rubber has been found to cause cut scratches and missing rubber.
[0003]
For this reason, conventionally, it has been dealt with by increasing the thickness of the rubber reaching the bottom of the metal core and the outer surface of the rubber crawler, but the whole rubber crawler becomes thicker and the amount of rubber used increases, which increases the cost. The steel cord row embedded in the rubber crawler is the center of bending, but the outer surface of the rubber crawler is far from the center of bending, so when it is bent by a sprocket or idler around the foot. Distortion increased, cuts and cracks were likely to occur, and the lug height was relatively reduced, so it was necessary to increase the lug height, resulting in increased costs. .
[0004]
As an example of a conventional rubber crawler, the outer surface 6 of the rubber crawler 10 has a substantially flat shape as shown in FIG. 6, but the load from the fuselage tends to concentrate on the central part. The effect on the phenomenon of cut scratches and rubber stripping is low. In the figure, 1 is a cored bar, 2 is a steel cord array surrounding the outside of the cored bar, 3 is a rubber elastic body forming the base of a rubber crawler, 4 is a lug, and 5 is a sprocket engagement hole.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the present invention, by providing a flat portion having a rubber thickness that is thicker than that of the end portion from the bottom of the core bar near the rubber crawler central portion to the outer surface 6 of the rubber crawler, the rubber at the severely damaged central portion is stripped. It has improved durability.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The gist of the present invention is an endless rubber crawler in which core bars are arranged side by side at a constant pitch in the longitudinal direction, a steel cord row is embedded around the core bars, and a plurality of lugs are provided on the outer surface. a is, in the widthwise sectional view, the thickness of the rubber to the outer surface between the lug from the bottom of the core metal, provided at the center in the width direction of the rubber crawler in the outer surface between said lugs Two steel strips extending in the longitudinal direction and projecting toward the outer periphery of the rubber crawler across the sprocket engagement hole are formed, and the steel cord is located more than the portion of the steel cord row near the end in the width direction. It is characterized in that it is thickened at a portion near the center of the row in the width direction .
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the present invention, it is particularly concerned with the improvement of the portion where the strain is concentrated, and the rubber crawler outer surface has been devised especially in the place where cut flaws and rubber loss occur. To reinforce, the thickness from the bottom of the core bar to the outer surface of the rubber crawler is two steps with the inner width of the projection area in the width direction of the core bar, and the thickness near the center of the steel cord row is increased, The thickness of the portion is reduced. Needless to say, the thickness of the rubber can be three or more.
[0008]
The width W0 of the portion where the thickness of the rubber is increased is 1/2 to 1/4 of the entire width (excluding the sprocket hole) W of the rubber crawler, and the thickness T0 depends on the size of the rubber crawler. However, it is generally made thicker by about 2 to 10 mm than the rubber thickness T of other parts. The portion where the thickness of the rubber is increased forms a flat portion, which prevents the concentration of distortion, thereby improving the durability of the rubber crawler.
[0009]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to examples.
FIG. 1 is an outer plan view of a rubber crawler 10 according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a side view, and FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA. In the figure, reference numerals 1 to 6 are the same as those in FIG. The rubber crawler 10 has a flat portion 7 in which the rubber thickness T0 at the center portion (excluding the sprocket engagement hole 5) of the outer surface 6 is 5 mm thicker than the thickness T of the left and right side surfaces. Speaking of the rubber crawler 10 as a whole, the flat portion 7 forms two ridges on the outer surface of the rubber crawler 10 with the sprocket engagement holes 5 facing in the longitudinal direction. As a result, the steel cord row 2a located on the inner side where the greatest force of the steel cord row 2 is expected to be applied is covered with the flat portion 7.
[0010]
Since the rubber crawler 10 of the present invention has the above-described configuration, it is possible to disperse the strain applied to the rubber by thickening the rubber portion where cut flaws or the like frequently occur. . In this example, the flat portion 7 is formed by increasing the thickness of the rubber to the half position of the steel cord row 2. Of course, it goes without saying that the outer surfaces of the thin portions of the left and right rubbers are preferably as flat as possible in terms of force distribution.
[0011]
FIG. 4 is an outer plan view of another example of the rubber crawler 10 according to the present invention. In this example, each of the lugs 4 is inclined and is shifted in a zigzag manner on the left and right in the width direction. This also has a thick flat portion 7 between the lugs 4 and 4.
[0012]
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view similar to FIG. 3 in yet another example of the rubber crawler 10 of the present invention. In this case, the depression 7a is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the rubber crawler 10 corresponding to the thick rubber portion (flat portion 7), and the balance as a rubber crawler is taken into account while reducing the weight.
[0013]
【The invention's effect】
The rubber crawler according to the present invention is provided with a flat portion in which the rubber thickness from the bottom of the core bar near the center of the rubber crawler to the outer surface of the rubber crawler is thicker than that of the end, so that a severely cut or damaged part is provided. This is a covered rubber crawler with excellent durability.
