本発明は、現金自動入出金装置に関し、さらに詳しくは、銀行の無人店舗や小売業店舗等に設置され、紙幣の入出金処理を顧客操作により自動的に行う現金自動入出金装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
図8に示すように、従来の現金自動入出金装置の紙幣入出金ユニット1は、顧客より入金された紙幣や顧客への出金用紙幣を収納する場所として複数金種の出金用紙幣を収納する複数の金種別収納庫6,7と、出金時に鑑別手段4により出金不適と鑑別されたり、或いは、金種別収納庫6,7からの繰り出し状態が悪く、例えば、2枚取り出しなどの紙幣のハンドリングの異常が検知された紙幣などを収納するリジェクト収納庫8を有している。この他に、出金用紙幣が不足した場合に、金種別収納庫6,7に紙幣を補充するための補充カセットや、逆に金種別収納庫6,7で満杯になった紙幣を回収する回収カセット、或いは、両方の機能を兼ね備えた補充回収カセットが紙幣入出金ユニット1本体に対して着脱自在に装着できるようなものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記従来のような紙幣入出金ユニット1を用いた現金自動入出金装置では、既に、流通量の少ない5千円券を出金可能にも係わらずリジェクト収納庫8に収納させて運用させているため、そのリジェクト収納庫8に二千円券等の新紙幣を出金可能にも係わらず収納させていくようにすると、リジクト収納庫8が満杯になりやすくなってしまう。このように、リジェクト収納庫8が満杯になってしまうと、以降発生する5千円券や二千円券等の新紙幣や本来の収納すべきリジェクト紙幣を収納することができなくなってしまうため、現金自動入出金装置自体の紙幣の取り扱いを禁止しなければならなくなってしまう問題がある。

例えば、出金時には、出金リジェクト収納庫8が満杯になると、顧客に払い出すには不適と判断されたり、払い出し枚数の計数が不確実になったなどの紙幣を収納できなくなるため、出金取引ができなくなる。また、入金取引では、入金リジェクト収納庫が満杯になるとスペースや取り扱い頻度の少ない専用収納庫を設けた場合の装置コストの効率の低さなどの問題から入金で取り扱い得るすべての金種に対応させて金種別収納庫を設けていないのが、一般的であり、出金リジェクト収納庫と入金リジェクト収納庫は、一つの収納庫(リジェクト収納庫8)で兼用させており、そのためこれらの取り扱い頻度の少ない入金紙幣や、出金取引で顧客に払い出すのには適さない傷んだ紙幣の収納先がなくなるため入金取引も中止させなければならなくなってしまう。

さらに、最近では、金融機関は人件費の効率化と顧客サービスに対する店舗数増大のため、現金自動入出金装置のみ設置された無人店舗が多数開設され、或いは、小売業者の店舗内等への設置が増えているが、従来のように、金融機関の有人店舗内設置と異なり現金の詰め替え作業が必要時に即時対応が困難なため装置休止による顧客へのサービス低下、或いは、サービスをある程度まで向上させようとする場合の運用コスト増大という問題があった。

本発明は、現金自動入出金装置のリジェクト紙幣収納庫が満杯になることから生じる装置休止を防ぐことで顧客取引連続運用時間の延長を可能とするとともにリジェクト紙幣収納庫のリジェクト券収納枚数を最適管理した現金自動入出金装置を提案するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の請求項1に記載の現金自動入出金装置は、金種別に紙幣を収納する金種別収納庫と、紙幣を鑑別する鑑別手段と、鑑別結果が不良の紙幣や該当する金種別収納庫が存在しない紙幣を収納するリジェクト紙幣収納庫とを備え、不良と判断された紙幣や該当する金種別収納庫が存在しない紙幣をリジェクト紙幣収納庫に収納していく現金自動入出金装置において、時刻を計って日付データ又は曜日データを生成する年時計と、係員による現金の詰め替え作業日データを記憶した現金詰め替え作業スケジュール記憶手段と、この現金詰め替え作業日データと日付又は曜日の関係に応じた紙幣の搬送先を設定した所定条件を記憶した記憶手段を備え、リジェクト紙幣収納庫の満杯時には、その時の日付データ又は曜日データを年時計から取得し、その日付データ又は曜日データと現金詰め替え作業日データとの関係に基づき所定条件と照合し、照合結果により該当する金種別収納庫が存在しない紙幣の搬送先としての金種別収納庫を決定するようにしたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照して、本発明の実施の形態を説明する。なお、これによりこの発明が限定されるものではない。
第1の実施の形態
図1は、本発明に係わる紙幣入出金ユニット1の構成図である。図において、2は、入金紙幣又は出金紙幣を顧客が出し入れするための入金及び出金接客手段である。3は顧客が入金した紙幣或いは顧客へ出金した紙幣を一時的に一括管理するための接客一時集積手段である。4は入金及び出金時に紙幣の真偽を鑑別する鑑別手段である。5は入金時の真券を一時的に保管する一時集積手段である。6及び7は入金時には鑑別手段4により真と鑑別された紙幣を収納し、出金時には顧客が指定した金種枚数の紙幣を払い出す手段をもった紙幣入出金ユニット1から着脱可能な金種別収納庫である。8は入金時の紙幣の鑑別結果が、該当する金種別収納庫6,7が存在しない金種の真券であった場合にその紙幣を収納する入金リジェクト紙幣収納部と、出金時に鑑別結果やその他の要因で出金できないと判断された紙幣を収納する出金リジェクト紙幣収納部を兼ねたリジェクト紙幣収納庫である。また、両リジェクト紙幣収納部としてのリジェクト紙幣収納庫8には、満杯状態を検出する図示しない満杯検出手段を有している。そして、その満杯検出手段の検出結果に基づいて搬送先を変更する図示しない搬送先決定手段も備わっている。9は入金時に鑑別手段4によって、鑑別結果が真とは特定できない紙幣を一時的に保管する入金返却紙幣一時集積手段である。なお、10〜14は、各構成同士に紙幣を搬送するための搬送路である。

次に、入金取引と出金取引に分けて、動作を説明する。なお、以下の動作は、図示しないCPUが、図示しない記憶媒体に記憶させてあるプログラムを実行することにより実行するものとするが、その詳細は省略する。
入金取引では、図2に示すように、入金及び出金接客手段2より投入された紙幣は、まず、接客一時集積手段3に入り、接客一時集積手段3と鑑別手段4をつなぐ搬送路10を通り、鑑別手段4を経たあと鑑別手段4と一時集積手段5をつなぐ搬送路11を通って、一時集積手段5に収納される。紙幣が真券であるならば、そのまま一時集積手段5に収納されるが、真券と鑑別できなかったり、2枚以上重なって(重走)搬送されたなどの問題が鑑別されると、紙幣を一旦入金返却紙幣一時集積手段9に収納させ、接客一時集積手段3の紙幣が全て分離されると、入金返却紙幣一時集積手段9の紙幣を入金接客手段2に逆走させ、再び顧客により紙幣を投入するよう促す。

また、真券と鑑別された紙幣は、顧客による取引金額確認入力後、再び一時集積手段5と鑑別手段4をつなぐ搬送路10を通り、一時集積手段5の紙幣を再度鑑別し、鑑別された紙幣が属する金種別収納庫が存在するのであれば、鑑別手段4と各々の金種別収納庫6,7をつなぐ搬送路12を通り、金種別収納庫6,7に紙幣は収納される。

ここで、鑑別手段4によって、該当する金種別収納庫が存在しないと鑑別された紙幣、及び、搬送中に紙幣の摩耗等の理由により鑑別結果が現金自動入出金装置の取り引きに適さないという結果が得られた紙幣は、鑑別手段4とリジェクト紙幣収納手段8とをつなぐ搬送路13を通って、リジェクト紙幣収納庫8に収納される。その時、リジェクト紙幣収納庫8内にある満杯検知手段が所定の検出結果を検知した時には、その検出結果に基づいてリジェクト紙幣収納庫8へ搬送されるべき紙幣の搬送先を、複数の金種別収納庫6,7の内に予め定められた金種別収納庫に切り替える搬送先決定手段を用いることで、リジェクト紙幣収納庫8が満杯になり、現金自動入出金装置自体の取引休止が発生しないようにする。搬送先決定手段が働き予め定められた金種別収納庫に紙幣が送られると、送られる前に入っていた紙幣の金種の取り引きは行わず、図4から図5に取引画面を切り替えることで取り引きを継続される。

この第5の実施の形態では、搬送路が往復双方向に搬送できる機構を持ち、上記第4の実施の形態の動作において、出金を行う時、鑑別手段4によって鑑別結果やその他の要因で出金できないと判断され、かつ、リジェクト紙幣をリジェクト紙幣収納庫8から予め定められた金種別収納庫6,7に搬送先を切り替える搬送先決定手段が、この出金できない紙幣の行先を所定の金種別収納庫6,7と指示した場合、金種別収納庫6,7からの紙幣の繰り出しを停止し、金種別収納庫6,7と鑑別手段4とをつなぐ搬送路11,12も停止し、その搬送路11,12を逆方向に駆動させ、鑑別結果やその他の要因で出金できないと判断された紙幣を前記搬送先決定手段が指示する金種別収納庫6,7に収納するように動作制御する。
