Description
トランスポンダが2つのアンテナの隣に配置され アクティブにされると、アンテナコイルの磁界内で変化が誘発される。この変化は、2つのアンテナコイル間で測定される時間とともに変化する差分電流を引き起こし、これがトランスポンダに記憶されているデータを反映する。差分電流は、読み取られ、フィルタに通され、デコードされる。本発明の一実施形態において、アンテナ−アンテナコイルドライバ信号を共鳴に合わせる自動調節回路が設けられている。トランスポンダタグあるいは導電性の物体のような対象以外の現象によって引き起こされるいかなる差分電流をも無効にする自動零調回路も設けられてもよい。
タグあるいは導電性の物体が場にあれば、2つのアンテナコイルからの信号の差は、受信部の入力における差分信号として現れる。導電性の物体の場合、信号は磁気の乱れから構成される。タグの場合には、信号は、キャリア周波数と、キャリア周波数周辺、例えば134.2KHzに中心を持つキャリアの変調による側波帯(サイドバンド)とから構成される。この受信信号はフィルタ226を通り、フィルタ226が帯域を減少し、通過帯域外の雑音要素を減衰する。
図4は、図2に関して上述したブロック構成要素108に対応する受信・自動零調回路108の一例を示す。図2における自動零調回路224、受信部増幅器およびフィルタ226、復調部228、整流部230および加算回路232に対応する回路ブロックが、図4にもっと詳しく示されている。図4は回路図の一例であり、多くの回路および構成要素の変更が考えられ、それらを導入することは本発明の範囲から逸脱しないということに留意されたい。
発明のさまざまな実施形態を説明したが、当業者は、多くの実施形態および実装が本発明の範囲内で可能であることを理解することであろう。したがって、本発明は、添付の請求項およびそれらの等価物に鑑みること以外で、限定されることはない。

Claims (5)
- 電磁場における変動を検出するインテロゲータであって、
アンテナ駆動部と、
第一のアンテナと、
第二のアンテナと、
スプリッタ回路と、
受信部と
を備え、
前記スプリッタ回路は、
前記アンテナ駆動部によって発生された駆動電流を受け、前記第一のアンテナおよび前記第二のアンテナにそれぞれ向けられる、実質的に同様の第一のアンテナ駆動信号および第二のアンテナ駆動信号に前記駆動電流を分割するアンテナバランス回路と、
前記第一のアンテナ駆動信号により生じる磁界および前記第二のアンテナ駆動信号により生じる磁界の変化により誘導される前記第一のアンテナおよび前記第二のアンテナ上の電流の差に応じて差分電流を発生し、前記受信部に入力する差動変圧器と
を有し、
前記アンテナバランス回路は、
前記第一のアンテナを駆動する前記第一のアンテナ駆動信号と前記第二のアンテナを駆動する前記第二のアンテナ駆動信号とに前記駆動電流を分割する抵抗バランス回路と、
前記第一のアンテナ駆動信号及び前記第二のアンテナ駆動信号を等しくするべく調節する差動インダクタと
を含み、
前記受信部は、前記差動変圧器から受信した前記差分電流を測定するインテロゲータ。 - 前記受信部は、前記第一のアンテナの電流と前記第二のアンテナの電流との間のオフセットをゼロにする自動零調回路を有する請求項1に記載のインテロゲータ。
- 前記第一のアンテナおよび前記第二のアンテナに提供される駆動電流を、予め定められた共振に合わせる自動調整回路をさらに備えている請求項1または2に記載のインテロゲータ。
- 前記受信部は、前記差分電流をキャリア信号に基づいて復調し、
前記第一のアンテナ駆動信号と前記第二のアンテナ駆動信号は、前記キャリア信号に基づいて発生され、
前記自動零調回路は、前記第一のアンテナ駆動信号と前記第二のアンテナ駆動信号との差分信号と逆位相であり、かつ、振幅が略等しい信号を前記キャリア信号に加算することにより、前記オフセットをゼロにする請求項2に記載のインテロゲータ。 - 電磁場における変動を検出するインテロゲータであって、
アンテナ駆動部と、
第一のアンテナと、
第二のアンテナと、
前記アンテナ駆動部によって発生された駆動電流を、前記第一のアンテナおよび前記第二のアンテナにそれぞれ向けられる、実質的に同様の第一のアンテナ駆動信号および第二のアンテナ駆動信号に分割するように、前記アンテナ駆動部に通信可能につながれたスプリッタ回路と、
前記スプリッタ回路に通信可能につながれて、前記第一のアンテナおよび第二のアンテナの周辺における磁界の変化により誘導される、前記第一のアンテナおよび前記第二のアンテナ上に現れる差分電流を測定する差分電流測定部と、
前記第一のアンテナの電流と前記第二のアンテナの電流との間のオフセットをゼロにする自動零調回路を有し、前記差分電流をキャリア信号に基づいて復調する受信部と、
を備え、
前記第一のアンテナ駆動信号と前記第二のアンテナ駆動信号は、前記キャリア信号に基づいて発生され、
前記自動零調回路は、前記第一のアンテナ駆動信号と前記第二のアンテナ駆動信号との差分信号と逆位相であり、かつ、振幅が略等しい信号を前記キャリア信号に加算することにより、前記オフセットをゼロにするインテロゲータ。
