上述の精子濃縮容器と保持具とのセットを用いて、精子濃縮液を得る方法としては、公知の方法を用いることができる。前記方法としては、例えば、まず、精子濃縮容器に精液を入れ、次いで培養液等を入れた後に精液濃縮容器に蓋をした後に、公知の遠心分離機に設置して、所定の条件(例えば、3000rpm、20分間)で遠心分離を行う。遠心分離の操作が行われた精子濃縮容器においては、細径部の管底の液は精子が濃縮された状態となる。このとき脆弱部において折ることで、分離された細径部内に精子濃縮液を容易に得ることができる。また、前記蓋は、精子濃縮容器の開口部を閉塞するものであれば特に限定されるものでは無いが、精液及び培養液等を入れた後の精液濃縮容器に生じる空間を減圧状態とすることができる蓋であることが好ましい。減圧状態とすることにより、底部側の細径部を脆弱部から折り切ったのちに胴体部側の液が外部に流出し難くなるからである。前記空間を減圧とすることができる蓋としては、特に限定されるものではないが、ゴム製の袋状部を具備する蓋であって、精子濃縮容器の開口端部に該蓋を設置したさいに該袋状部の内側が精子濃縮容器の内側空間と連通する様に袋状部が形成された蓋を用いることが、好ましい。すなわち本発明の精子濃縮容器と保持具とを含むセットとしては、ゴム製の袋状部を具備する蓋を含むセットであっても良い。   A publicly known method can be used as a method of obtaining a sperm concentrate using the above-mentioned set of sperm concentration containers and holders.
