Claims (3)
- すれ違い用の配光パターンおよび濡路用の配光パターンを含む複数の配光パターンが得られるプロジェクタタイプの車両用前照灯において、
前記すれ違い用の配光パターンは、走行車線側の上水平カットオフラインと、対向車線側の下水平カットオフラインと、中央の斜めカットオフラインと、を有し、
前記濡路用の配光パターンは、前記すれ違い用の配光パターンの下水平カットオフラインとほぼ同レベルに位置する対向車線側の下水平カットオフラインと、中央から走行車線側にかけて前記すれ違い用の配光パターンの上水平カットオフラインよりも上方に位置する上斜めカットオフラインと、を有し、
前記濡路用の配光パターンの走行車線側の部分には、前記上斜めカットオフラインを有し、かつ、水平線よりも上方の範囲を照明する上斜め立上り部が形成されていて、
光源と、
前記光源からの光を反射させるリフレクタと、
前記リフレクタからの反射光を前方に投影する投影レンズと、
前記リフレクタから前記投影レンズに向かう反射光を前記複数の配光パターンが得られる複数のビームに切り替える第1シェードおよび第2シェードと、
前記第1シェードおよび前記第2シェードを前記複数のビームが得られる複数の姿勢に切り替える切替装置と、
車両の少なくとも1つの情報に基づいて、前記光源および前記リフレクタおよび前記投影レンズおよび前記第1シェードおよび前記第2シェードおよび前記切替装置からなる前照灯ユニットを、スイブルさせるスイブル装置と、
前記スイブル装置が故障した場合には、前記切替装置を駆動させて前記複数のシェードをすれ違い用の配光パターンが得られる姿勢に切り替え、かつ、別個の駆動装置により前記前照灯ユニットの光軸を下に向けるフェイルセーフ装置と、
を備える、
ことを特徴とする車両用前照灯。 - 前記第1シェードには、前記すれ違い用の配光パターンの下水平カットオフラインおよび前記濡路用の配光パターンの下水平カットオフラインを形成する上水平エッジと、前記すれ違い用の配光パターンの斜めカットオフラインおよび前記濡路用の配光パターンの上斜めカットオフラインを形成する斜めエッジと、がそれぞれ設けられており、
前記第2シェードには、前記すれ違い用の配光パターンの上水平カットオフラインを形成する下水平エッジが設けられており、
前記第1シェードと前記第2シェードとが共に上位の姿勢に切り替えられているときには、前記第1シェードの上水平エッジおよび斜めエッジと前記第2シェードの下水平ヘッジにより形成される下水平カットオフラインおよび斜めカットオフラインおよび上水平カットオフラインを有する前記すれ違い用の配光パターンが得られ、
前記第1シェードが上位の姿勢にまた前記第2シェードが下位の姿勢に切り替えられているときには、前記第1シェードの上水平エッジおよび斜めエッジと前記第2シェードの下水平ヘッジにより形成される下水平カットオフラインおよび上斜めカットオフラインおよび上斜め立上り部を有する前記濡路用の配光パターンが得られる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。 - 前記第2シェードには、サブシェードが設けられており、
前記第2シェードが下位の姿勢に切り替えられているときには、前記サブシェードにより配光パターンの手前側に低光度ゾーンが形成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用前照灯。
