Description

【0001】
<TI値>
TI値=η1/η2 (式1)

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a pattern coating film forming method mainly applied to inner and outer wall surfaces, ceilings, floors and the like of buildings.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a method called a combination coating method has been used as one of methods for forming patterns with various colors on inner and outer wall surfaces, ceilings, floors, and the like of buildings. In this method, paints are included in rubber cans, sponges, etc., and then repeatedly pressed against the surface to be coated, and further paints of different hues are applied in the same way to form various patterns. That's it.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, this method is very complicated and requires a lot of labor and time. In addition, this method requires the skill of the painter, and the finish level is greatly affected by the skill level of the worker, so that it is not always finished with a certain level of quality.
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and provides a coating method capable of forming a variety of patterns with excellent aesthetics by a relatively simple operation without depending on the skill level of a coating operator. It is intended.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve such a problem, the present inventor has intensively studied, and as a result, has found a method of applying a paint discontinuously using a specific roller brush containing a specific paint. Completed the invention.
[0005]
That is, the present invention provides the following pattern coating film forming method.
1. After containing a thixotropic paint having a viscosity of 1 to 50 Pa · s in a porous roller brush having a pore diameter of 5 to 20 mm without saturation , the roller brush is contact-rolled against the surface to be coated. The pattern coating film forming method characterized by applying a coating material discontinuously so that it may become 0.03-0.6 kg / m < 2 > by the coating amount .
2. 1. Paints with different hues are sequentially applied. The pattern coating film formation method as described in any one of.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail.
[Coating surface]
The present invention is applied to inner and outer wall surfaces, ceilings, floors and the like of buildings. Examples of the base material used in such a part include various base materials such as cement base materials such as concrete and mortar, lightweight concrete boards, cellular concrete boards, siding boards, and asbestos concrete boards. Moreover, it can also apply to the surface which gave some surface treatments (sealer, surfacer, filler, etc.) to these base materials, and can also apply to the surface in which a certain coating film was already formed. When building materials are painted, they can be painted in the factory.
[0007]
[Coating method]
In the present invention, a porous roller brush having a pore diameter of 5 to 20 mm is used as a coating instrument. An example of such a porous roller brush is a mastic roller. When the pore diameter of the porous roller brush is smaller than 5 mm, it is difficult to discontinuously apply the paint. If it is larger than 20 mm, unevenness tends to occur, which is not preferable.
[0008]
As the paint, one having thixotropic properties and a viscosity of 1 to 50 Pa · s, preferably 2 to 30 Pa · s is used. The thixotropic property of the paint is desirably 1 to 7 (more preferably 3 to 6) in terms of the TI value represented by the following formula 1. When the paint does not have thixotropy, it becomes difficult to apply the paint discontinuously.
<TI value>
TI value: A value obtained from Equation 1 using a BH viscometer TI value = η1 / η2 (Equation 1)
(However, η1: Viscosity at 2 rpm (Pa · s: guide value for the second rotation), η2: Viscosity at 20 rpm (Pa · s: Guide value for the fourth rotation))
[0009]
The viscosity of the paint is 1 to 50 Pa · s. When the viscosity is less than 1 Pa · s, it becomes difficult to discontinuously apply the paint. When it is higher than 50 Pa · s, it becomes difficult to uniformly apply the paint, resulting in unevenness.
In addition, the viscosity of the coating material in this invention is a value calculated | required by measuring the viscosity in 20 rpm (guide value of the 4th rotation) by a BH type viscometer.
[0010]
In this invention, after making the above-mentioned coating material contain in a porous roller brush, this roller brush is contact-rolled with respect to a to-be-coated surface. At this time, the coating amount of the paint is desirably 0.03 to 0.6 kg / m 2 . When the coating amount is less than 0.03 kg / m 2, the interval between the coating materials to be applied becomes too wide and the design property tends to be lowered. When the coating amount is more than 0.6 kg / m 2 , the coating material is discontinuous. It becomes difficult to paint.
[0011]
Usually, when painting with a roller brush, the paint is satisfactorily saturated in the roller brush, and in the present invention, the paint is applied after the paint is contained in the roller brush without being saturated. At this time, by using the above-described roller brushes and paints, the paints can be applied discontinuously on the surface to be coated, and a patterned coating film can be formed.
[0012]
In the present invention, after the first coating is performed by the above-described method, paints having different hues are sequentially applied by the same method, whereby a variety of patterns with high aesthetics can be formed. At this time, any color can be used as the hue of the paint, and various patterns can be created.
[0013]
In this invention, after forming a pattern coating film, a clear coating material can be applied as needed. Thereby, a pattern coating film can be protected over a long period of time. The clear coating may be applied by a known coating method, for example, using a spray gun, a roller, a brush or the like.
[0014]
【Example】
The effects of the present invention will be clarified by giving examples below.
[0015]
Using the raw materials shown in Table 1, each paint was produced with the formulation shown in Table 2.
[0016]
[Table 1]
Figure 0004493065
[0017]
[Table 2]
Figure 0004493065
[0018]
The coating was performed on a 30 × 30 cm slate plate on which a white coating film had been formed in advance by rolling a porous roller brush containing each paint. The coating was performed in a 20 ° C. environment. Table 3 shows the paint used, the combination of porous roller brushes, and the test results.
In terms of coatability, the evaluation was made with ○ indicating that the paint was applied discontinuously and uniformly, and × indicating not.
[0019]
In Examples 1 and 2, which are the methods of the present invention, the paint was applied discontinuously and uniformly, and a pattern as shown in FIG. 1 could be formed. Incidentally, the coating amount is Example 1 0.3 kg / m 2, the Example 2 was 0.5 kg / m 2.
On the other hand, in Comparative Example 1, the pore diameter of the porous roller brush was small, and the paint could not be applied discontinuously. In Comparative Example 2, the viscosity of the paint was high, and the paint could not be applied uniformly.
[0020]
[Table 3]
Figure 0004493065
[0021]
Next, after the test plate coated in Example 1 was dried, a paint 4 having a different hue was further applied. In the coating of the coating material 4, a porous roller brush having a pore diameter of 8 mm was used as in Example 1, and the coating amount was 0.3 kg / m 2 .
Thus, the obtained coating film was able to express the various pattern excellent in aesthetics.
[0022]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, various patterns having excellent aesthetics can be formed by a relatively simple operation without depending on the skill level of a painter.
[Brief description of the drawings]
FIG. 1 shows an example of a pattern coating film formed by the method of the present invention.
