【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、寝たきりの人の床ずれを防止するために人とベッドの間に配設して身体と下側の支持部分との長時間にわたる密着を防ぐ床ずれ防止マットに関する。

【従来の技術】
寝たきりになった人の床ずれを防ぐために、身体背中側の各部分に対し所定時間間隔で接触箇所を変えつつ所定の圧力で部分的に接し、身体を支える床ずれ防止マットは、様々な形状や方式のものが従来から用いられている。
こうした従来の床ずれ防止マットのうち、マット上に仰向けで寝た状態の人に対しマット縦方向に空気圧による膨張・収縮部を複数配設し、複数箇所での膨張、収縮により支持位置を変化させつつ身体を支持するエアマットタイプのものは、身体をバランス良く支持できると共に、構造が簡略で取扱いやすく、従来から広く用いられてきた。このようなエアマットタイプの床ずれ防止マットの一例を図13に示す。図13は従来の床ずれ防止マットの斜視図である。

前図に示す従来の床ずれ防止マット100は、略シート状のベースマット101と、細長い中空体で形成され、ベースマット101上に複数並列させて一体に取付けられて空気の注入、排出で膨張・収縮する複数の空気セル102と、空気セル102を覆うように配設される防汚シート103と、各空気セル102に対し管104を介して空気の加圧注入もしくは吸引排出を行う空気注入排出装置(図示を省略)とを備える構成である。

この従来の床ずれ防止マット100では、人が防汚シート103上に仰向けに寝ている状態で空気注入排出装置が作動すると、各空気セル102に対する空気の注入、排出が適宜切換わって空気セル102の膨張・収縮状態が調整され、膨張時には身体に対する所定の支持力を発生させると共に収縮時には支持状態を解除して、人の肩から背中、さらに腰から脚にかけて多数の接触位置で接しつつ接触位置が所定のタイミングで入れ替って常時密着した状態を防ぎ、床ずれを防止することができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の床ずれ防止マットは以上のように構成されていたことから、防汚シート103が空気セル102を完全に覆っている状態では、空気セル102が汚れることはないものの、図14に示すように、防汚シート103上の人の動きで防汚シート103がずれ、空気セル102が露出することがあった。この防汚シート103がずれて空気セル102を覆わない状態で寝ている人に失禁等があった場合、汚物が空気セル102間に入り込んでしまうという課題を有していた。

この空気セル102間に入り込んだ汚物を除去する場合、空気セル102が膨張したままでは空気セル102間に手が入らずに除去作業ができないため、通常は空気セルから空気を抜いていたが、空気セルが収縮してつぶれた状態になっても、空気セルを一枚ずつめくりながらの作業では汚れを落しにくかった。一方、ベースマット101から一旦空気セル102を取外して洗浄を行うと、確実に汚れを落せるものの、取外しには手間がかかる上、洗浄時に管104との接続用開口部から空気セル102内に水が入りやすく、水が入った場合、使用時に空気を送る管104の詰りや、空気セル102内の異音、空気セル102内からの空気排出時に異臭等が生じるといった課題を有していた。

また、従来の床ずれマットは、並列して隣合う空気セル102を交互に膨張、収縮させることで支持位置を変化させ、床ずれを防ぐ仕組みであるが、波打ち状の体圧支持となることから、マット上に寝ている人の皮膚を引張り、ずれや摩擦を引き起す危険があるという課題を有していた。また、膨張した空気セル102が身体に対し横方向に連続して接触するため、縦方向の血流を圧迫により分断する状態となり、身体の縦方向の血行が悪くなり、体調に悪影響を及すという課題を有していた。

本発明は前記課題を解消するためになされたもので、空気セルをマット横方向に複数配設し、メンテナンスを容易にすると共に、マットにおける身体の支持位置を適切に配置でき、床ずれ防止に留まらず寝ている人を所定の姿勢に調整できる床ずれ防止マットを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明に係る床ずれ防止マットは、寝た姿勢の人の全身を載置可能な大きさに形成されるシート体と、当該シート体上面側に重ねて配設される可撓性を有するカバー体と、前記シート体及びカバー体との間に複数並列させて配設される中空の空気セルと、当該空気セルの中空部分に連通する連通路を介して空気セルに接続される空気注入排出手段とを備え、当該空気注入排出手段が、各空気セルに対し連通路を通じた空気の注入、排出を、注入対象と排出対象を切替えつつ繰返し行い、空気セルを膨張、収縮させる、床ずれ防止マットにおいて、前記空気セルが、複数の独立した略立方体状の小型中空体を直列に連結して形成されると共に、前記小型中空体同士を連通させ且つ通過する空気に対し通過抵抗を与える絞り通路を各小型中空体の連結部分にそれぞれ形成され、小型中空体同士が絞り通路のある前記連結部分を除いて間隔を空けて配置されてなり、また、前記空気セルが、前記シート体とカバー体との間で隣合って並ぶ二つについては連通路を別系統とされつつ、複数の空気セルについて連通路をそれぞれ合流させて二系統にまとめられて前記空気注入排出手段と接続され、複数の空気セルが同時に膨張、収縮を行う状態とされ、前記空気注入排出手段が、隣合う空気セルにそれぞれ連通する別系統の連通路に対して空気の注入もしくは排出の動作状態を異ならせるものである。
このように本発明においては、空気を中空部分に出入りさせられる複数の空気セルが、シート体とカバー体との間に複数並列させて配設され、空気注入排出手段を作動させて各空気セル毎に膨張、収縮を所定時間間隔で繰返させ、カバー体上の人の身体各部分への接触位置を所定時間間隔で次々に変えられることにより、確実に床ずれを防止できる。また、空気セルがたとえ汚れた場合でも、空気セルを身体横方向の両側部からそれぞれ引出してカバー体とシート体との間からすぐ取出すことができ、清浄作業等のメンテナンスが容易に行え、清潔な状態も維持しやすい。

また、空気セルを小型中空体の連結で形成し、且つ、各小型中空体の連結部分に空気を通す絞り通路を形成し、小型中空体間の空気の流通を絞り通路で制限することにより、空気セルによる身体支持部位が小型中空体毎となって細分化され、身体を支持する面積が減少することとなり、身体とマット上面との密着をより一層抑えられ、床ずれの防止能力を向上させられると共に、人の動きで身体の重心位置が変化し、身体から空気セルに加わる圧力状態が急に変化した場合でも、空気セルの各小型中空体間の絞り通路を通じて空気がゆっくりと隣接する小型中空体へ移動し、空気セル各部の急激な落込みや膨張を防止でき、マット上の人に違和感や不安を与えずに確実に支持できる。
さらに、空気注入排出手段で隣合う空気セルは互いに異なるタイミングで、且つ隣合わない空気セルはほぼ同じタイミングでそれぞれ膨張、収縮させることにより、同時に膨張、収縮を行うセルが千鳥状配置となり、空気セルで身体を支える位置が適切に分散することとなり、身体をバランス良く支持できると共に、空気セルが身体を横断して圧迫することがなく、身体の血行が阻害されず、身体への悪影響を防ぎつつ床ずれ防止動作を行える。

また、本発明に係る床ずれ防止マットは必要に応じて、前記各空気セルが、前記カバー体における身体横方向の中間位置より端部寄りに配設され、シート体及びカバー体に対する身体横方向一端側寄りの各空気セルの連通路を前記一端側から外部に取出されて前記空気注入排出手段に接続されると共に、身体横方向他端側寄りの各空気セルの連通路を前記他端側から外部に取出されて前記空気注入排出手段に接続され、前記空気注入排出手段が、前記一端側寄りの空気セルと他端側寄りの空気セルについて異なる側では空気の注入もしくは排出の動作状態を異ならせるものである。
このように本発明においては、身体横方向に直列に配設される各空気セルが身体横方向一端側と他端側からそれぞれ独立に連通路を接続される形状に形成され、空気セルの膨張、収縮状態を身体横方向の中央から一端寄りの半分と他端寄りの半分で独立に調整可能とすることにより、身体横方向について身体の支持高さのバランスを変化させて身体の傾きを変化させられることとなり、体位の変換をはじめ、背中の清拭やオムツ交換等のマット上の人の身体を動かす作業の際に身体を動かし易くし、作業の能率を向上させられると共に、作業の省力化が図れる。

また、本発明に係る床ずれ防止マットは必要に応じて、前記空気セルの前記シート体及びカバー体の間への配設状態における身体横方向の側端位置で、空気セルと連通路との間に、空気セルと連通路とを着脱自在にする接続コネクタを配設するものである。
このように本発明においては、空気セルと連通路との間に接続コネクタを配設し、接続コネクタの着脱で空気セルと連通路との接続状態を切替えられることにより、空気セルのシート体及びカバー体の間に対する出し入れを空気セルと連通路との接続を一旦外した状態で行えることとなり、連通路及び各空気セルを個別に取扱うことができ、それぞれの交換等メンテナンスがより一層容易に行える。

【発明の実施の形態】
(本発明の第1の実施形態)
以下、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る床ずれ防止マットを図1ないし図6に基づいて説明する。図1は本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットの平面図、図2は本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットの分解斜視図、図3は本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットの横断面図、図4は本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットの床ずれ防止動作状態説明図、図5は本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットの身体傾動動作状態説明図、図6は本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットの身体傾動状態における横断面図である。

前記各図に示すように、本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マット1は、寝た姿勢の人の全身をその身体縦方向と長辺方向とを一致させる向きで載せられる略矩形状のシート体2と、このシート体2上に重ねられた状態でシート体2長手方向に所定間隔をなす複数箇所でシート体2にそれぞれ一体に固着され、各固着部位の中間部分を略トンネル状の収納部4とされるカバー体3と、可撓性を有する細長い略筒状の中空体で形成され、この中空体の中空部分に連通する連通路としての所定の管61、62、63、64が各々接続され、前記収納部4に二つ直列に挿入されてシート体2とカバー体3との間に複数並列状態に配設される流体セルとしての空気セル51、52、53、54と、この空気セル51、52、53、54に前記管61、62、63、64を介して接続され、各管61、62、63、64を通じて各空気セル51、52、53、54に対し空気を注入もしくは排出しつつ空気セル中の空気量を調整する空気注入排出手段(図示を省略)とを備える構成である。

前記カバー体3は、身体の重みや内側の空気セル51、52、53、54からの圧力が加わっても破損しない丈夫な可撓性素材製の矩形シート状体で形成され、シート体2上で空気セル51、52、53、54の幅に略一致する所定間隔をなす複数の固着部位でそれぞれシート体2と一体に固着され、各空気セル51、52、53、54をシート体2長手方向に動かないよう保持する一方、横方向の端部は固着されずにシート体2とカバー体3との間の空間が開放された状態であり、前記収納部4に対する空気セル51、52、53、54の挿入及び取出し口とされる構成である。

前記空気セル51、52、53、54は、空気注入排出に伴う変形に耐えうる可撓性素材製の中空体としてカバー体3の幅の略半分の長さとなる細長い略筒形状に成形され、カバー体3とシート体2との間の収納部4に横方向両側の開放部分からそれぞれ着脱自在に挿入されて配設され、空気注入排出手段による空気の注入排出で膨張収縮する構成である。各空気セルは、収納部4内で直列に並んで横方向に隣合う二つについて連通路となる管を別系統として互いに独立させて横方向端部からそれぞれ外部に引出されると共に、この管を縦方向の空気セル一つおきにそれぞれ合流させて横方向左側と右側のそれぞれで二系統ずつにまとめられて空気注入排出手段と接続される。すなわち、空気セル51は管61と、空気セル52は管62と、空気セル53は管63と、空気セル54は管64とそれぞれ連通し、四つの系統で空気注入排出手段によりそれぞれ独立して空気を注入、排出され、各々所定のタイミングで膨張、収縮する仕組みである。

次に、本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットの床ずれ防止動作について説明する。まず、人がカバー体3上に身体全体を載せて寝ている状態で、管理者の操作により空気注入排出手段が動作を開始し、管61、64を介して空気セル51、54に空気を加圧注入し、空気セル51、54を膨張させる一方、管62、63を介して空気セル52、53から空気を排出し、空気セル52、53を収縮させる(図4参照)。空気セル51、54の膨張と空気セル52、53の収縮により、空気セル52、53の押圧力を減衰させて身体接触部分に押圧力を与えない状態になると共に、空気セル51、54の押圧力がカバー体3を介して身体接触部分に伝わるようになり、寝ている人の身体を空気セル51、54で支える状態となる。空気セル51、54並びに空気セル52、53がそれぞれ所定の圧力に達したら、空気注入排出手段が空気の注入、排出を一旦停止して圧力を維持する状態となる。

空気注入排出手段が空気セル51、52、53、54の圧力を維持する状態となって所定時間(例えば、15分程度)経過すると、空気注入排出手段と管61、64及び管62、63との接続状態が切り替り、空気注入排出手段が管62、63に対し空気を注入し、且つ管61、64から空気を排出する状態となる。これにより前記と逆に空気注入排出手段が空気セル52、53を空気の注入で膨張させる一方、空気セル51、54を空気の排出により収縮させ、この空気セル52、53の膨張と空気セル51、54の収縮により、寝ている人の身体を支持する部分が空気セル51、54から空気セル52、53に入れ替る。空気セル51、54並びに空気セル52、53がそれぞれ所定の圧力に達したら、前記同様に空気注入排出手段が空気の注入、排出を一旦停止して圧力を維持する状態となる。

この後、空気注入排出手段の空気セル51、54並びに空気セル52、53に対する空気の注入排出が所定時間毎に注入排出の対象を前記同様に切替えつつ繰返し行われ、空気セル51、54もしくは空気セル52、53がそれぞれカバー体3上に寝ている人を支持することで、身体を支持する位置を断続的に変化させられ、身体と支持部位との接触が長時間継続するのを防げる。加えて、同時に膨張、収縮を行う空気セル51、54もしくは空気セル52、53が千鳥状配置となっており、寝ている人の支持位置が連続せず分散するため、身体に負担がかからない。

続いて、本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットの身体傾動動作について説明する。空気注入排出手段に対する管理者の所定の操作で、空気注入排出手段が管61、64及び管62、63との接続状態を変え、空気注入排出手段が管61、62に対し空気を注入し、且つ管63、64から空気を排出する状態、もしくは、管61、62から空気を排出し、且つ管63、64に対し空気を注入する状態のいずれかとなる。

空気注入排出手段が管61、62を介して空気セル51、52に空気を注入し、空気セル51、52を膨張させる一方、管63、64を介して空気セル53、54から空気を排出し、空気セル53、54を収縮させる状態(図5参照)では、マット本体2の一方の空気セル51、52の膨張で寝ている人の右半身が上がる一方、他方の空気セル53、54の収縮で左半身が下がることから、マット上の人の身体全体を空気セル53、54の側に傾けられる(図6参照)。逆に、空気注入排出手段が空気セル53、54を空気の注入で膨張させる一方、空気セル51、52を空気の排出により収縮させる状態では、空気セル53、54の膨張で人の左半身が上がる一方、空気セル51、52の収縮で右半身が下がることから、人の身体全体を空気セル51、52の側に傾けられる。いずれの場合でも、空気セル51、52並びに空気セル53、54がそれぞれ所定の圧力に達したら、空気注入排出手段が空気の注入、排出を一旦停止して圧力を維持し、寝ている人を傾いた状態に保持できる。

このように、本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットにおいては、シート体2とカバー体3との間に空気セル51、52、53、54が配設され、床ずれ防止動作として空気セル51、54並びに空気セル52、53に対する空気注入排出手段の空気の注入又は排出が所定時間毎に注入排出の対象を切替えながら繰返し行われ、空気セル51、54もしくは空気セル52、53がそれぞれカバー体3上に寝ている人を支持することから、身体の支持位置を断続的に変化させられ、身体とその支持部位との接触の長時間継続による床ずれを防止できると共に、同時に膨張、収縮を行う空気セル51、54もしくは空気セル52、53が千鳥状配置となって各位置で寝ている人を支持することから、空気セルによる支持部分が横方向に連続せず、寝ている人の身体縦方向の血行を阻害せず、身体に悪影響を与えない。また、身体傾動動作として空気注入排出手段が空気セル51、52と空気セル53、54とのいずれか一方には空気を注入し、他方から空気を排出して、寝ている人を横に傾けられることから、背中の清拭や体位の変換、オムツ交換等の寝ている人をマット上で傾ける必要のある作業を容易に行え、作業能率を向上させられると共に省力化が図れる。

(本発明の第2の実施形態)

前記各図に示すように、本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マット1は、前記第1の実施形態同様に、シート体2と、カバー体3と、空気セル51、52、53、54と、空気注入排出手段(図示を省略)とを備える一方、異なる点として、各空気セル51、52、53、54が、三つの独立した小型中空体50を直列に連結して形成されると共に、小型中空体50同士を連通させ且つ通過する空気に対し所定の通過抵抗を与える絞り通路50aを各小型中空体50の連結部分にそれぞれ形成される構成を有するものである。

次に、前記構成に基づく床ずれ防止マットの各空気セル内での空気流通状態について説明する。本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットの床ずれ防止動作及び身体傾動動作における空気注入排出手段の動作は、前記第1の実施形態と同様であり、床ずれ防止動作として空気セル51、54並びに空気セル52、53に対する空気注入排出手段の空気の注入排出が所定時間毎に注入排出の対象を切替えながら繰返し行われ、また、身体傾動動作として空気注入排出手段が空気セル51、52と空気セル53、54とのいずれか一方への空気の注入、他方からの空気の排出をそれぞれ行う。

これらの各動作において、空気セル内に空気が注入される場合、管に接続された小型中空体50に空気がまず供給され、空気がこの小型中空体50で所定量に達した後、絞り通路50aを通って空気が次の小型中空体50に達し、同様にして更に次の小型中空体50まで空気が供給されることとなる。また、空気セル内から空気が排出される場合は、まず、管に接続された小型中空体50から空気が排出され、空気がこの小型中空体50で所定圧力まで減少した後、絞り通路50aを通って次の小型中空体50内の空気が進入して排出され、同様にして更に次の小型中空体50から空気が出て排出されることとなる。

各空気セルによる支持は、空気セルをなす各小型中空体50がそれぞれ支持部位となって支持を分担するため、寝ている人の体重を分散してより安定して支持できる。また、寝ている人が寝た姿勢で動いた場合、人の重心位置が変り、各空気セル上においても加わる押圧力の位置や強さが変化するが、新たに押圧力が加わる箇所となった小型中空体50から連通する他の小型中空体50に空気が移動する場合、空気は通過抵抗のある絞り通路50aを通ってゆっくり移動し(図10参照)、小型中空体50の急激な体積変化を抑えることから、空気セルの外部からの圧力が集中する位置での急激な落込みやそれ以外の箇所での急な膨らみを防止でき、空気セル上での揺れを少なくして寝ている人をその姿勢に応じて安定的に支持できる。

このように、本実施の形態に係る床ずれ防止マットにおいては、空気セルが小型中空体50を連結させて形成され、身体を支持する部位を増やしながら支持面積を減らし、さらに同一空気セルの小型中空体50同士を絞り通路50aにより連通させ、小型中空体50間の空気の急速な移動を絞り通路50aで制限することから、支持のために身体に密着する部分が減少し、身体の血行が阻害されず床ずれ防止効果を向上させられると共に、身体のちょっとした動きで身体からの押圧力が空気セルの一部分に加わった場合でも、空気セル各部の急激な落込みや膨らみを防止でき、上に寝ている人に違和感や不安を与えずに確実に支持でき、快適性の向上が図れる。

なお、前記第1及び第2の各実施形態に係る床ずれ防止マットにおいて、シート体2とカバー体3との間に複数並列状態に配設される空気セル51、52、53、54は身体横方向の中心に対しそれぞれ左右に独立して配置される構成としているが、これに限らず、図11に示すように、シート体2とカバー体3との間における身体縦方向の端部側などで、より長寸法の空気セル55を身体横方向には一つのみとして配設する構成とすることもでき、頭部や足先など、さほど傾ける必要がない箇所を、空気セルが横方向に連続することで安定的に支持可能となる。

また、前記第1及び第2の各実施形態に係る床ずれ防止マットにおいて、空気セル51、52、53、54と連通路としての管61、62、63、64とはそれぞれ直結される構成としているが、これに限らず、図12に示すように、空気セル51、53と管61、63との間に公知の接続コネクタ70を配設し、空気セル51、53と管61、63とを着脱自在にする構成とすることもでき、接続コネクタ70の着脱で管61、63及び空気セル51、53を個別に取扱うことができ、それぞれの交換等を始めとするメンテナンス作業が容易に行える。

【発明の効果】
以上のように本発明によれば、空気を中空部分に出入りさせられる複数の空気セルが、シート体とカバー体との間に身体横方向へ直列に二つずつ挿入されながら身体縦方向に複数並列させて配設され、空気注入排出手段を作動させて各空気セル毎に膨張、収縮を所定時間間隔で繰返させ、カバー体上の人の身体各部分への接触位置を所定時間間隔で次々に変えられることにより、確実に床ずれを防止できるという効果を奏する。また、空気セルがたとえ汚れた場合でも、空気セルを身体横方向の両側部からそれぞれ引出してカバー体とシート体との間からすぐ取出すことができ、清浄作業等のメンテナンスが容易に行え、清潔な状態も維持しやすいという効果を有する。
