Description
The present invention relates to an air mattress that can effectively prevent pressure ulcers (bed slippage) that occur when a sick person or bedridden elderly person lies on the floor for a long period of time, and can support independence.
In recent years, the number of people who are forced to go to bed in nursing homes and hospitals has been increasing with the aging of the population. In such nursing or care settings, patients lying in bed often continue to receive sustained pressure for a long time and are at risk of developing pressure ulcers. Therefore, various air mattresses (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as air mats or mattresses) have been developed for the purpose of preventing the occurrence of such pressure sores or healing the generated pressure sores.
For example, an
By using such an air mattress, the pressure applied to the body of a sleeping patient or the like is reduced, so that pressure ulcer is prevented or cured.
By the way, currently available air mattresses for pressure ulcer prevention range from a thin one having a thickness of about 3 cm to a thick one having a thickness of about 20 cm. A relatively thin air mattress as shown in FIG. 4 may cause the patient to bottom. Moreover, since the body pressure dispersion effect is mainly caused by the thickness, it is necessary to increase the thickness when the body pressure dispersion effect is obtained. Therefore, as shown in
In recent years, thin pressure distribution devices have been used for highly independent patients who do not develop pressure ulcers, rather than treating pressure ulcers after they have developed, and to prevent pressure ulcers in advance. Sometimes.
Patients with pressure ulcers are often treated by using thick air pressure mattresses with high body pressure dispersion ability. After the pressure ulcer is completely cured, rehabilitation is performed, but it is difficult to get out of the thick mattress, so it may be changed to a thin mattress. Many.
However, if the physical condition deteriorates while using a thin mattress and the risk of developing pressure ulcers increases, the mattress is returned to a thick mattress. This mattress replacement is a heavy burden on nurses and caregivers. There was a problem of having to own a mattress of the kind.
The subject of the present invention was made to solve such a problem, and the air cell upper layer and the lower layer of the air cell were completely partitioned, and the air cell lower layer was evacuated as necessary. The object is to provide an air mattress whose thickness can be changed to about half when only the upper layer is filled with air.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention takes the following technical means.
That is, the air mattress according to
An air mattress according to a second aspect is the air mattress according to the first aspect, wherein an air suction for adjusting an air amount in the air cell by an air pump is provided at longitudinal ends of the air cell upper layer and the lower layer. An exhaust port is provided, respectively.
An air mattress according to a third aspect is characterized in that the air cell according to the first or second aspect has a height dimension approximately twice a width dimension in an expanded state.
According to the air mattress of the present invention, since the upper layer and the lower layer of the air cell can be completely partitioned by the partition plate, if necessary, only the upper layer can be removed by removing air from the lower layer of the air cell. Air can be left in the air. Accordingly, it is possible to change the thickness of the air mattress to about half or to return to the original thickness again depending on the purpose of use and usage conditions.
For this reason, it is convenient to switch the thickness according to the state of the patient etc. used and to raise the upper body at the time of eating and drinking, and it serves as both care and independence support with one air mattress .
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a plan view of an
As shown in FIG. 1, the
Further, the
On the other hand, if the
Further, since the
Each of the
Next, the
Further, a plurality of hooks are juxtaposed in the vicinity of the end of the
As shown in FIG. 3 (a), the air cell is used for both the
As another method of use, in the thick type mode, the
Further, the
Even in the thin mode, the
The air mattress according to the present invention can easily evacuate the air in the lower layer as necessary, so there is no need to prepare thick and thin mattresses. It can be said that it is suitable for eliminating the burden.
