Description
The present invention relates to a balloon control device for a double-balloon endoscope, and more particularly to a balloon control device for a double-balloon endoscope that can improve safety when the double-balloon endoscope is used.
As an alternative to the conventional small intestine endoscope, there is a double balloon type endoscope. This double-balloon endoscope has a balloon attached to the tip of the endoscope, and a balloon-type endoscope that can supply and suck air to the balloon, and an insertion portion of the balloon-type endoscope is inserted. It is a tube, and a balloon is attached to the distal end of the tube, and an overtube capable of supplying and sucking air to the balloon is constituted. The double balloon type endoscope is connected to a balloon control device for inflating each balloon separately, and the balloon control device supplies and sucks air to each balloon separately.
When inserting this double-balloon endoscope into the small intestine, each balloon is inflated alternately, the endoscope tip or overtube tip is alternately fixed to the intestinal wall, and the endoscope insertion part on the non-fixed side or Move the overtube and small intestine relatively. As a result, the intestinal tract is pulled by using the portion fixed by the balloon as a fulcrum, and the distal end of the double balloon endoscope can be relatively inserted to the deep part of the small intestine.
An endoscope provided with an air tube described in Patent Document 1 discharges air (air) having various discharge pressures to a body cavity such as a stomach in order to examine the state of an affected part. A double balloon endoscope It is not inserted while inflating each balloon alternately.
On the other hand, in the case of a double balloon type endoscope that is inserted to the deep part of the small intestine while inflating each balloon alternately, a tube connected to the balloon air supply port of each balloon type endoscope or overtube when each balloon is torn If there is disconnection or connection failure, there is a problem that the pressure of the balloon does not reach the specified pressure (the pressure required to fix it to the intestinal wall). There is a problem that the pressure of the balloon becomes high and the intestinal tract is damaged due to the malfunction of the above.
Also, when inserting a double-balloon endoscope up to the small intestine, the balloon may be inflated and inserted even in the stomach or large intestine, especially in the large intestine, it may be inserted without using a balloon because it is bent. Many. The set pressure when the balloon is fixed to the intestinal wall is set to a constant pressure that fits the human intestine. However, in the case of a large intestine with a large lumen diameter, the size of the balloon reaches the lumen. However, there is a problem that the pressure does not rise to the set pressure.
Furthermore, when connecting the air supply and suction tubes to the balloon air supply ports of the balloon endoscope and the overtube, there is a possibility that the connections of the tubes may be wrong.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and it is possible to improve the safety in use of a double balloon endoscope and to provide a user-friendly balloon control device for a double balloon endoscope. FIG. 1 is a system configuration diagram of an endoscope apparatus including a balloon control apparatus for a double balloon endoscope according to the present invention.
As shown in the figure, this endoscope apparatus is composed of a double balloon endoscope composed of a

Further, air supply /
In the middle of each
The
FIG. 2 shows an example of a connector (balloon air inlet) 56 on the overtube side and a
As shown in the figure, a
On the other hand, the

Here, as shown in FIG. 1, the

Further, in order to prevent a connection error between the

Since the pressure sensors SA1 and SA2 are pressure sensors that detect only two pressures, respectively, two pressure sensors are used to detect the three pressures P 1 , P 2 , and P 3 . One pressure sensor may be used as long as it can detect three pressures P 1 , P 2 , and P 3 .

Next, the decompression process will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.

Subsequently, the detection signal from the pressure sensor SA2, it is determined whether or not it has reached the negative pressure P 3 the pressure in the
The decompression operation is stopped by energizing the solenoid of the electromagnetic valve VA2 and switching to the position a. Further, since the diameter of the air supply tube provided along the
On the other hand, if not reach the negative pressure P 3, the time T from the start of depressurization operation it is determined whether or not reached 30 seconds (step S110). Then, when the processes of steps S104, S106, and S110 are repeated until the time T reaches 30 seconds, it is determined that there is an abnormality (for example, the
When an abnormality is detected as described above, the timer time T is reset to 0 and a buzzer is sounded (steps S112 and S114). At the same time, the red LEDs arranged on the key tops of the stop switch SW2 provided in the apparatus
Thereafter, it is determined whether or not either of the stop switches SW2 or SW3 is pressed (step S116), and if it is pressed, the buzzer is stopped (step S118). On the other hand, when the stop switch SW2 or SW3 is not pressed, it is determined whether or not the time T since the buzzer sounded has elapsed, and when the 20 seconds have elapsed, the buzzer is automatically stopped.

Next, the pressurizing process will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.

Subsequently, the detection signal from the pressure sensor SA1, it is determined whether or not reached the increased pressure P 1 the pressure preset in the tube 110 (step S206), if they reached the increased pressure P 1 is , to determine whether further reached the abnormal pressure P 2 (step S208). When it does not reach the abnormal pressure P 2 stops the pressurization operation (step S210).
The pressurization operation is stopped by energizing the solenoid of the electromagnetic valve VA1 and switching to the position a. In addition, since the diameter of the air supply tube provided along the
On the other hand, small intestine and go peristalsis, abnormalities of the apparatus body 102 (e.g., abnormality of the electromagnetic valve VA1) when pressurization operation by does not stop, if the pressure in the
When the abnormal pressure P 3 continues for 5 seconds, the timer time T is reset to 0 and a buzzer is sounded (steps S214 and S216). At the same time, the red LEDs arranged on the key tops of the stop switches SW2 and SW3 are turned on.
Thereafter, it is determined whether or not either of the stop switches SW2 or SW3 is pressed (step S218), and if it is pressed, the buzzer is stopped (step S220). Subsequently, the pressure reducing operation is performed until the abnormal pressure P 2 becomes the applied pressure P 1 (step S222). This pressure reduction operation is performed by turning off the electromagnetic valve VA3 and switching to the position b. In this case, for example, even when the solenoid valve VA1 is broken and the pressurizing operation cannot be stopped, the pressure can be reduced by switching the solenoid valve VA3.
Subsequently, the timer time T is reset to 0 (step S224), and it is determined whether or not another switch SW is operated, such as an OFF (decompression) operation of the endoscope ON / OFF switch SW4 (step S226). When there is no operation of the other switches SW Between buzzer is stopped for 20 seconds (step S228), the process proceeds to step S230, the a depressurization operation for decompression to a negative pressure P 3 is performed. In step S226, when it is determined that another switch SW is operated, balloon control based on the command of the switch SW is performed.
If it is determined in step S218 that the stop switch SW2 or SW3 has not been pressed, it is subsequently determined whether or not another switch SW has been operated (step S232). The stop switch SW2 or SW3 is not pressed after the buzzer sounds, and the state no operation other switches SW is continued for 20 seconds ((step S234), stops the buzzer (step S236), until the negative pressure P 3 A decompression operation for decompressing is performed (step S230).
On the other hand, the process returns to step S206, when the pressure in the
When an abnormality is detected as described above, the timer time T is reset to 0 and a buzzer is sounded (steps S240 and S242). At the same time, the red LEDs arranged on the key tops of the stop switches SW2 and SW3 are turned on.
Thereafter, it is determined whether or not either the stop switch SW2 or SW3 has been pressed (step S244), and if it has been pressed, the buzzer is stopped (step S246). Subsequently, the timer time T is reset to 0 (step S248), and it is determined whether or not another switch SW is operated (step S250). When there is no operation of the other switches SW Between buzzer is stopped for 20 seconds (step S252), the process proceeds to step S230, the a depressurization operation for decompression to a negative pressure P 3 is performed.
On the other hand, if the stop switch SW2 or SW3 is not pressed in step S244, it is determined whether or not the time T since the buzzer sounded has elapsed 20 (step S254). after halting on buzzer (step S256), the process proceeds to step S230, the a depressurization operation for decompression to a negative pressure P 3 is performed.
Next, abnormality detection when the
Because the diameter of the air supply tube provided along the
When the
Thus, in this embodiment, the pressurization operation is repeatedly started and stopped in a short cycle (that is, ON / OFF chattering of the electromagnetic valve VA1) occurs during the pressurization operation of the
Next, the pause process will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
The
On the other hand, when a pause command is input during the pressurizing operation, the solenoid of the electromagnetic valve VA1 is energized, the electromagnetic valve VA1 is switched to the position a, and the pressurizing operation is stopped (step S306).
This pause function is used, for example, when a double balloon endoscope is inserted while inflating a balloon in the large intestine. That is, in the large intestine having a larger lumen diameter than the small intestine, although the balloon size reaches the lumen, the balloon pressure may not rise to the preset pressure P 1. The pressurizing operation is stopped using the pause function.
When operating a double balloon endoscope, since a fluoroscopic image is usually observed, it can be determined from this fluoroscopic image whether the balloon is sufficiently inflated in the large intestine.
When the pause switch SW5 is pressed again during the temporary stop of the pressure reducing operation or the pressurizing operation, the pressure reducing operation or the pressurizing operation before the temporary stop is restored. Further, when the pressurization or pressure reduction switch (endoscope ON / OFF switch SW4) is pressed during the temporary stop of the pressure reduction operation or pressurization operation, the operation by the pressed switch has priority.
In this embodiment, the control system A for endoscope and the control system B for overtube are each provided with a pressurizing pump and a depressurizing pump, but these pumps are used for the endoscope. And may be shared for overtubes.
Further, the applied pressure P 1 , the abnormal pressure P 2 , and the negative pressure P 3 can be arbitrarily set for each endoscope and overtube. Further, the control for inflating and deflating each balloon may be performed by detecting the flow rate of air supplied to the balloon or sucked from the balloon, in addition to the control based on the pressure detected by the pressure sensor.
