Description
The present invention provides a Langevin type crystal resonator that is configured such that one surface of a quartz piece contacts a measurement atmosphere and the other surface faces an airtight space, and detects a measurement object by detecting a change in frequency. The present invention relates to a quartz sensor used and a sensing device using the quartz sensor.
Measurement using a sensing device equipped with a quartz sensor that uses a quartz crystal to sense trace substances such as environmental pollutants such as dioxin or disease markers such as hepatitis C virus and C-reactive protein (CRP) The law is widely known.
Specifically, in the measurement method, an adsorption layer is formed in advance on the excitation electrode on one side of the crystal resonator, and when the object to be measured is adsorbed, the resonance frequency of the crystal piece is set according to the mass of the adsorbed substance. This is a measurement method for measuring the presence or absence of an object to be measured in a sample solution or measuring the concentration of the component by utilizing the fluctuating property. In Patent Document 1, in order for a crystal resonator included in a crystal sensor used in this measurement method to stably oscillate in an immune latex solution, only one surface of the crystal resonator is in contact with the measurement atmosphere. It is described that the structure is preferable.
Such a crystal sensor is generally called a Langevin type crystal resonator. Although not described in Patent Document 1, generally, the basic structure of a Langevin type crystal resonator is configured as shown in FIG. In the figure, reference numeral 10 denotes a circular plate-like crystal piece, and foil-like electrodes 11 and 12 are formed at the center of both surfaces. These electrodes 11 and 12 are connected to support
In recent years, further control of toxic substances having a large influence on the environment such as dioxins has been required from the viewpoint of environmental protection, and various measures have been advanced to enable measurement at the ppt level. By the way, in the crystal resonator, the resonance frequency of the crystal resonator increases as the thickness of the crystal piece decreases. According to the Sauerbrey equation, the amount of change in the frequency with respect to the amount of change in the mass of the measurement substance increases as the frequency generated by the crystal resonator increases. That is, the measurement sensitivity of the quartz sensor increases as the thickness of the quartz piece becomes thinner, and it becomes possible to measure a very small amount of substance. For this reason, thinning of the crystal piece is required.
At present, a technology for thinning a crystal piece is progressing, and it is possible to produce a crystal piece having a thickness of several to several tens of μm. As a method of manufacturing a quartz sensor as shown in FIG. 10, for example, a quartz vibrator is formed by two plastic cases having a fixed shape, and an airtight space is formed between one side of the quartz vibrator and the plastic. Thus, a technique of fixing the crystal resonator in the plastic case by welding the plastic cases with ultrasonic waves is being studied. However, when such a method is used, there is a possibility that the crystal piece thinned by the vibration caused by the ultrasonic waves is broken. Although it is conceivable to use molding, there is a drawback that the manufacturing process becomes complicated.
By the way, in
However, according to the exploded perspective view of the quartz sensor in
In addition, the quartz sensor functions as a detection unit in the sensing device by being connected to a measuring instrument body that performs signal processing. However, in the methods of Patent Document 1 and
An object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to make a Langevin crystal sensor that can easily perform an assembling operation and suppress damage to the crystal resonator during the operation. And providing a sensing device. Another object of the present invention is to provide a Langevin crystal sensor and a sensing device that can be easily measured.

Provided on the upper surface of the lid portion is an inlet for sample solution and a confirmation port for confirming that the sample solution is injected into the injection space, and the inlet and the confirmation port on the inner surface side of the lid portion. Communication,
The natural frequency of the crystal resonator is changed by adsorbing the measurement object to the adsorption layer.
In addition, the sensing device of the present invention is a measuring instrument main body that detects a change in the natural frequency of the quartz sensor of the present invention and the quartz resonator and detects a measurement object in the sample liquid based on the detection result. And.
The quartz crystal sensor according to the present invention forms an airtight space by holding a quartz crystal resonator on the quartz crystal holding member so as to close a concave portion of a quartz crystal holding member made of rubber, for example, and vibrates the quartz crystal resonator using a conductive adhesive. The child electrode and the electrode of the wiring substrate are electrically connected, and the portion surrounding the crystal resonator in the crystal holding member is pressed against the wiring substrate side by the lid to form the sample solution injection space. Therefore, according to the present invention, the assembling work is easy, and there is no possibility that an excessive force is applied to the crystal unit when the crystal unit is directly pressed during manufacturing. It is done. Since the crystal resonator does not directly touch the wiring substrate, the degree of external stress is small even if the crystal resonator is thinned, so that measurement can be performed with high accuracy even at a high frequency. If the portion corresponding to the concave portion of the crystal holding member is fitted into the hole of the wiring board, even if a portion protruding downward corresponding to the concave portion is formed by thinning the crystal holding member, Since this part fits in the recess of the wiring board, the thickness of the crystal holding member can be reduced as a result.
According to another aspect of the present invention, a crystal sensor includes a ring-shaped crystal holding member fitted in a hole portion of a wiring board, and a crystal resonator is attached to the crystal holding member so as to close the ring hole. An injection space and an airtight space for the sample solution are secured by pressing the base portion. Therefore, in this invention, the assembling work is easy, and since there is no possibility that an excessive force is applied to the crystal resonator by pressing the crystal resonator directly during manufacturing, the same effect as the above-described invention can be obtained. Further, according to the present invention, since the connection terminal portion directly connected to the terminal on the measuring instrument main body side is provided on the substrate of the crystal sensor, an attachment or the like used when connecting the crystal sensor to the measuring instrument main body is unnecessary. It becomes. Accordingly, since the wiring as described above is not routed on the measurement table, the measurement work is easy to perform.
(First embodiment)
A first embodiment of a crystal sensor according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of a crystal sensor according to the present invention. In the crystal sensor, components of a
The
Further, on the other surface side of the
The
The crystal holding member 3 for holding the
Next, the
Next, the configuration of the
In addition, the
The quartz sensor having such a structure is assembled as follows. First, the crystal holding member 3 and the

When the crystal sensor according to the present embodiment is used, when the operator causes the sample solution to flow into the
As described above, the crystal sensor according to the present embodiment is easy to assemble, and since a large stress is not applied to the
The sample solution injected from the
Here, the crystal sensor is used as a detection unit of the sensing device by being connected to the measuring device
For example, 9 MHz is selected as the frequency of the quartz sensor, and 10 MHz is selected as the frequency of the
FIG. 6 is a view showing an example of the measuring instrument

Next, another embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 7 shows a ring-shaped
FIG. 8 shows the
Furthermore, the electrodes of the crystal unit 2 (in this example, the lead-out
